One of my pages on iweb when publishing has a error!!!!!!!!
Now that iweb can publish, When I start the publish process, One of my pages says "cannot publish error on all men trend page, try again later" Why would there be a error on that page and how and I fix it.
No , I don't think that is the problem. I publish the page many times before and now only after this mobile me launch I am unable to publish that page. when will all this be done and when will I be able to publish my page. How do everyone knows that this is even a mobile me problem. Does anyone knows what is going on. The error reads like this when I am publishing:
An error occurred while publishing file “/Web/Sites/Notice/AllMen_Trend/Pages/runway_men_summer08files/Media”. Try publishing again later.

I've recently stumbled on an article on how to view the packaged file (apk) published using AIR 3.2 for Android setting (Adobe Flash CS6). All you need to do is change the extension of the file from (.apk) to (.rar) or (.zip) and extract the file as you would with any other zip or rar file. I was able to confirm that the packaged file (apk) indeed contain all the videos for the presentation. I have more than 80 videos in the presentation. All videos included in the package are of the same video format and resolution (FLV 320x240) but of different duration. I intentionally included the all the videos inside the package so I can use the presentation anywhere and anytime without the need to connect to the internet. The packaged apk file size is (1.23GB) the file includes the project's swf and xml file, the component swf and videos.
When installed to android I noticed that the package remained as an apk file. Not really sure if android temporarily unpacks it when you run the app.
Testing phase:
I see no problem when I'm testing the project on my desktop computer. But when packaged and installed on my device the problem arise.
Problem:
I'm able to install and run the app on my device but wont play some of the videos included in the package.
Was this due to the limited RAM or processor of my android device?
I wanted to distribute the presentation to friends so i was trying to package it for easy access and installation on their device.
Alternative Solution:
I installed a third party app called SWF player by BIT LABS. Copied all the files to my device (the project's swf and component swf with the videos). The project worked like a charm the player (SWF player) and was able to run the presentation as if it was running of my desktop. All buttons and videos working properly. Although the alternative solution worked for me I still wanted to package the presentation for easy access and distribution to friends.

I have seen several normal downloads on this PC with XT SP3 so know what it looks like.
Have protection software running: DSL modem firewall on, windows firewall on, AD-Aware free, AVG virus free, Winpatrol free, SpyBot-SD Resident free
Also my notebook with Windows 7 allows downloads with same authentication.
I attempt download and ADE starts with download indicator which terminates prematurely, then get two error messages:
1.
One or more tasks were running when ADE has abnormally terminated. Do you want to resume pending tasks?
and when I select yes...

Error getting license

How do I get my gallery photo pages in iweb to publish on my site ?

I have recently upgraded to iweb 09 from iweb o6. I have also upgraded from tiger to snow leopard and now have a terabite size hard drive. Iweb was working great before , but now i cannot get my website to upload correctly using ftp fetch. fetch is not the problem as i tried another ftp and had the same problem. My pages that have gallery photos on them will not show. my website is www.naomigrant.com the pages not responding are paintings sold and paintings for sale page. I have uploaded correctly , published correctly and everything looks like it has worked. But when i go to my site the images are not on those two pages. Images are showing in other pages. when i test it in iweb and it says you can visit your site , everything looks good there and you can see the images. So i am totally at a loss as to what to do. I have spent 3 days trying to fix this so far. Can anyone please help me? Should I reinstall i web?There is no point in re-installing iWeb, because after you have published it really is not an iWeb problem - if there is something not working on uploading the files, then it is really nothing to do with iWeb after html pages have been created.
If you are using Fetch to upload, then you have obviously published your site to a local folder? If so, are the photos there when you look at your local site? If they are there when you publish to a local site, then it is an error in uploading and if photos do not show, it means that some things are not being uploaded to your server correctly.
Have you tried using Cyberduck instead of Fetch? Cyberduck or Transmit are two of the better ftp programmes to try. -
SFWordProcessing plug-in err only on one of my pages in iWeb
at first i couldnt even open iWeb without crashing. hoefler font fix didnt help. then i mored the com.apple.iWeb... file to desktop which did work.
however, once in iWeb, if i so much as click or right-click on one of my web pages, it crashes immediately. even if i right-click to "delete page".
is there a way of deleting a page without invoking it which causes iWeb to crash? its not a huge deal as i can still work on other pages, but it is annoying to have a land mine in my iWeb project.

1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
2 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
3 - reboot.
4 - launch iWeb and see if the the problem page can be viewed or deleted.
If the above fails continue with:
1 - backup your domain.sites2 file.
2 - launch iWeb, create a new site and drag all pages but the problem page to it.
3 - see if you can delete the old site containing the problem page.

JSP page messes up when there is an error with one file.

I am not sure if this a JSP or error handling or XML type question and so I have posted here only.
I have a JSP page that loads a series of XML files, the only problem is that if one file has incorrect syntax then the whole page fails, I was wondering if there is anything in the way that I should structure my JSP code, or if there was a way to test if my xml file was vaild before trying to load it, many thanks in advance.You could also put try/catch statements around each individual xml import.
That way if one fails, you print an error message for that one, and then continue.
If you use JSTL it has a <c:catch> tag for exception handling, and several powerful XML handling features. -
Can't see pages in Iweb when no monitor connected to mac
...Sounds obvious I guess, but basicaly this is my problem.
I have a mac mini and I connect to it using logmein via my laptop. It works a treat. However when I open I web i can see all my websites but the pages just display as blank.
If i connect a monitor to the mac mini and connect via logmein it displays fine.
Is this some little bug or something? causes me a few problems so a solution would be great.Yes is on the mini, the laptop is windows, i just use the laptop to connect to the mini.
The domain file is located in the correct place. I can see all my sites on the left, but as I highlight a page it just displays black.
If i attach a monitor it displays fine (even with the monitor powered off)
I thought it may be the logmein software but the same occurs using vnc. -
I'm having the following message when tiring to download an ebook from the library. Can anyone give me a solution to this problem?
Contacted Adobe support who gave me a list of instructions which included uninstalling Digital Editions, deleting registry files, deleting ebook files (after saving them elsewhere), emptying trash folder and rebooting (unfortunately this didn't work).
However when I carried out a simple system restore (start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore) and went back to a restore point before I had authorised Digital Editions this worked and I was able to access all my ebooks again. -
Adobe Business Catalyse site you are publishing has changed error
When ever I upload a Muse side update to my website (http://www.kb-videos.com), the 4 watch pages always come up with this problem.
I have never updated these pages since the first version of my website, only to change the page URL to something without .html. All the other Muse pages work without this error coming up, even with a changed URL.
If I click don't merge, it uploads a separate page to Business Catalyst, and although the old page is still displayed, whenever loading it an error message is displayed that says parts of the file may be missing. If I click merge with muse, it removes the text all together on the pages. I am unsure why it's showing this error, since I haven't ever edited these pages in Business Catalyst. Also, I am unsure why it's only happening to these pages and not any other pages.
What is happening, and how can I fix it? Someone please help.Hi,
When you change the page URLs, you are also changing the navigation links to those pages by manually editing the HTML, correct? That is enough to trigger the Review notification.
If you don't want to see it, you can always disable In-Browser Editing (File > Site Properties > Content > Enable In-Browser Editing).
But that won't help you with your fundamental issue; Muse will always re-publish files with the .html extension.

I would be surprised if anyone outside of Oracle can run your sample application because its behind the firewall.
The error message is caused by changes that are applied to the underlying iterator without refreshing the UI in which case the two are out of synch. What helps is to PPR the UI (e.g the table as a result of a command action)

Is is possible to deactivate the details page in iWeb when inserting photos on the photo page. I simply want my photos to show on the page, i don't want the ability to click on the pic and then show the detail page. Is this possible?

Thanks for the link. I understand now that what i'm trying to do is something i need to change/delete in the coding. I hope you will be pateint with me as this is the first website im doing on iweb (the first one ever actually) so i'm still learning and catching onto a few things. I have a few questions that i hope you can help answer for me so that i can complete what i'm trying to do:
1 - how do i get into the coding end of the website? Is that through another application or can i do it from iweb?
2 - from what i gather, i can simply delete the slideshow page (coding) completely and only have the photo page depicting my images, where you are not able to click on them for the slideshow section, is that correct?
3 - and if i undertstand point number 2 to be correct, what does the coding look like or what must i look for to delete it completely?

creating photo pages in iweb. when i dbl click on a page it changes the page view to a kind of carousel where the user can choose a pic and it then made larger for for more detailed viewing. is there a way of setting up the page in this view as a default?

Font appears as bold when published
hi all!
This font issue is driving me crazy..I have set the font to helvetica light on my site but when i publish the site on mobileme some sections appears as bold randomly. i have tried highlighting text and changing font type to helvetica light again but even though it appears as light in iweb when published it is still bold.
Is there an easy solution to this please?I'm having the same issue as shannondasilva. Looks great offline in iweb but as soon as I publish my site the font appears bolder and thicker than it should. Very annoying and not consistent enough for Apple. Anyone worked out a way of making the font appear as it should without having to convert the text to an image, etc. I want my text to be found by google so it needs to remain as text. And yes I'm using standard Helvetica and Arial websafe fonts. Please can someone help here???

Troubleshooting: animation will not preview in browser or when published
I've created a number of Edge Animation files with success, however I have encountered an issue with one file that will neither play when published nor when using the "preview in browser" function. It is viewable at the start but will not auto play. Any tips for troubleshooting this issue? Using Firefox 21.0 FWIW.
