I had an episode of a tv show series on my IPOD NANO 8GB. I just bought a new episode of the tv show and I went to put it on my IPOD NANO 8GB and it removed the first episode off my IPOD NANO 8GB. Now, all I have is the new episode of the tv show on my ipod and I can't get the other back on there. How do I get the other episode that I had on there first back on to my IPOD NANO 8GB with the new episode on my ipod? Please Help Soon.

Hello Lisa,
Double check your iPod's sync settings from under it's TV Shows tab in iTunes. Make sure it is not set up to sync only unwatched episodes.

I would also check to see the backup dates in iTunes and if the backup is located on iCloud instead of iTunes.

iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
The content should have been copied from the old computer to the new computer or at the very least from the backup of the old computer.

If it happens again the make sure that you aren't suppressing website colors.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

The simplest solution would to restore from your back up - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4112
If you do not have a back, you can select first track on list in song view, from menu > edit > select all. Next ctrl+click and select download from pop up. You may wish to do this in small batches as it will take some time to download.

Your i-device was not designed to be a reliable unique storage for your media. It is not a backup device and everything is structured around you maintaining your media on a computer which is itself backed up. Sync transfer is one way, computer to device, matching the device content to the content on the computer (except purchased content as mentioned below). For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will probably have to use third party commercial software unless you have an older model iPod. My Laptop was stolen. On the Itunes, I had many songs saved from other sources, that are currently on my Itouch. Itunes wants me to Erase to sync, and I dont want to erase. I have no access to those songs anymore. Is there a way to sync my Touch with my New laptop withoit erasing my I touch?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Typing in additional text seems to get the job done. This seems to be a feature of the latest IOS update, I have never had the problem before the last update.
I use the box with the arrow just to the left of the URL block at the top of the page to send myself links to pages of interest. Adding the extra text seems like a pointless step, but it does work.
