One of the podcasts on my computer won't synch to my iPhone 3GS

I'm trying to sync a podcast from my Windows 7 HP laptop to my iPhone 3GS, which is running ios6.
The podcast in question is called "A Short History of Japan" by Cameron Foster. It currently consists of 29 episodes. The problem was, the first 12 episodes don't appear in the iTunes Store, so I had to go to this guy's website and download them manually.
I added the files to the automatically add to itunes folder, and iTunes created a separate podcast section for these 12 episodes, separate from the main podcast, which has the "get" buttons and everything. The separate podcast section does not have these buttons, and generally has fewer options on the right click drop down menus.
I have repeatedly tried to sync these episodes with my iPhone. Each time itunes tells me it is transferring the files, yet each time they don't appear on my phone. I deleted the podcast app and all podcasts from the phone, and tried to start again, syncing ONLY this podcast, and I'm still getting nothing.

you can restore from your backup. you do have a backup, don't you?

I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

First podcast uploaded with the wrong title? It is using the title of one of the podcasts and not showing the name only of the speaker?

I uploaded 7 podcasts using Podomatic. iTunes is using the titles of one of the podcasts as the title for the page. I need to change the page title and also remove my name (not sure why my name was posted instead of the name of the podcast speaker). iTunes is simply reproducing what is in the relevant tags in the feed:

You need to change them in Podomatic wherever you originally entered the data and republish the feed. The Store should pick up the changes after a couple of days or so, though it's possible it might not do so until you post a new episode.

If your computer's iTunes isnt recognising the iPad when you connect it then have you got a recent version of iTunes installed on your computer ? There are also troubleshooting pages for a device not showing in iTunes on these pages :

You appear to have an iPhone 5. Snipsnap 2.4.2, the current version, says it works on iPhone 5, iOS 5.0 or later. Why do you want an out of date version of the app?

No, I haven't figured it out. And no one from Apple has contacted me to help. Very frustrating. Sure makes me want to not buy music on iTunes and just buy CD's.

Some App developers keep older versions around for download.
You will need to download the App to iTunes on a computer first.
With that done you can follow these steps to get a compatible version:

Sounds like it is time to call Apple and make an appointment to take it in for them to examine it and find out what is wrong with it.

Inability to share one of the accounts on my computer from remote computer

What the title says. One of my profile public folders is not visible by other computers. I tried resharing it, and turning off SMB and other sharing, and reactivating it; no use.
Also, accessing another Mac takes forever, but once it's in the browsing is fast enough, but it's annoying.

When you connect the iPod to your computer and go to the Music tab to select which music you want to sync, iTunes will pop up a dialogue box that if you sync your music it will replace the music that is already on the iPod.
Since that sounds like what you want to do, just click ok and then sync.

Dock - one of the users on my computer cant drag items in or out

Also, I did a quick google search and found a way to restart the dock:
Open the 'Terminal' app (applications/terminal)
When cursor appears, type 'killall Dock' (make sure to capitalize dock)
You'll see the dock dissapear, then reappear.
I tried it a couple of times on my Mac, it successfully restarted the dock.
