One of two synced fonts doesn't appear in Adobe Muse, but in Photoshop CC it does. What can I do?
I synced "Mostra Nova" and "Proxima Nova" with typekit. But only Mostra Nova appears in Adobe Muse. Proxima Nova doesn't. In Photoshop CC both appear. Can I fix this? Or is it a bug, that will be fixed?

Do you happen to use Suitcase Fusion to manage the installed fonts on your computer? We have recently identified a bug in the program which inteferes with fonts synced from Typekit. More information and a workaround is available here:

If not, would you please send your recent sync logs to [email protected], so we can look into this further?
On OS X:
* Open the Finder
* under the Go menu, select "Go To Folder"
* in the windows that opens, type: /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
Note that you need to replace "(username)" with your own account name; for instance, on my computer I am "galle".
(Or if you are comfortable working from the Terminal, cd to $HOME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/)
On Windows:
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\
Attach the recent CoreSync-yyyy-MM-dd.log files to an email. Please don't send a zip file, as they often get flagged as spam.

No. When you removed the photos via the finder you damage the library. Photos should always be removed from the library using iPhoto, never with the Finder.
If you have a Time Machine backup of the library from before you deleted the photos you can restore the library to the Desktop and export that album from it to import into your current library.
It's been too long to be able to try one of the file recovery applications. You sure to have overwritten those files with new files since them.

Hi i also had a recent problem with a stuck cd in my 12" powerbook slot loading drive. I would suggest attempting all the operating system problem solvers first that are covered in other discussions on this site, such as holding down alt + command(apple logo thingy) + F + O straight away when starting up your computer. This brings you to the open firmware where you type "eject cd."
My problem seemed more physical than a glitch in the operating system The CD would try to eject several times each time failing with a horrid grinding unhealthy sound as if something was blocking it. After a while the computer seemed to disable the act of even trying to eject the disc and the cd would not be recognize on my desktop or anywhere else.
After days of suffering and failed attempts I managed to get the disc out by getting another cd that was not important, and placing it in the mouth of the slot loading drive and carefully bending the cd gently in a wrist swiveling manor so that the slot got pushed wider. This sounds foolish behavior I know, but cds have a nice flex to them which softens contact with the soft aluminum metal. After a slight widening I tried ejecting once more and it thankfully worked. The disc that came out was incredibly scratched so I came to conclusion that the drive had been squashed a little bit down the line.
Any way hope this works and sorry about the essay.

I tried that already.. the thing is, i press "buy more tones" in the "incoming call tones" panel, and the ringtone i purchased appears as "downloaded", but it only appears on the iphones itunes, not in the tones panels.

Hello, I'm having a problem with Arial Unicode MS font in MAC. The other apps such as TextEdit, Pixelmator... can see the font but not PhotoShop CS5 and the other apps in the CS5 suite (Flash, Illustrator...)
Does anyone have the same problem with me? Could you help me to solve this problem?

Check the entire font menu, all the way to the bottom. The font may not be in the alphabetical order you expect, but towards the end of the list, among the Asian fonts or so.

Lightbox (jQuery Lightbox Evolution) made in Adobe Edge, doesn´t work in Adobe Muse (oam file)

Hi!, I got a problem that I can´t fix it, or I don´t know how to do it in Adobe Muse.
First I have the Jquery Lightbox Evolution ready to do it in Adobe Edge.
I could work the lightbox in Edge perfectly doing this:
1. I added the JS files of the Jquery Lightbox Evolution into EDGE :
2. I wrote this code in STAGE - COMPOSITIONREADY:

3. I wrote this CLICK code into the blue box animation;

5. Perfect, I publish the project like an Animate Deployment Package (.oam) to import this into Muse.
6. Now the problems begins, I import the Edge animation into my Muse project, but when I see the preview of my page, the lightbox doesn´t work, Muse don´t recognize the lightbox CSS file because I see something like that:
The blue box animation work perfectly into Muse!, but when I click on it and when it should appear the Jquery Lightbox, happens that problem, Muse don´t recognize the CSS file and the "lightbox" appears INTO the box animation, like if I put a "_self" code.
Really I don´t know how to fix that, should import the CSS file into Muse? should write a code into Page Properties- Metadata?, write a code inserting a HTML?, change some code in Adobe Edge?

Synced Music Doesn't Appear on iPod Touch

I just got a new iPod touch about a month ago and tried to sync it to my iTunes on my windows PC laptop (it's one year old). Since I'm here it obviously didn't work. I have the newest software on my iPod, and the latest version of iTunes. Ive tried restoring it, that also didn't work, it wiped my iPod and wouldn't put the new software back on. I had to use my family's desktop PC to restore it. I synced it on that computer and it worked fine.
I tried to sync it back onto my laptop and the messages that keep popping up are:
'The iPod “Name's iPod” cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found.'
'The iPod “Name's iPod” cannot be synced. An error occurred while writing to the device.'
It also says that some of my (perfectly good songs that I downloaded off iTunes) songs are corrupt and cannot be synced.
After all this I then remembered that I had never actually synced an iPod to my laptop before. I synced my old iPod nano (Gen. before the camera, cant remember. Only a year or two old?) and it worked fine. I also synced my sisters iPod touch (older version with the newer software) on my laptop and it also didn't work. I synced my iPod to her exact same version laptop, and it worked.
I tried Restarting my computer, Reinstalling iTunes, Restoring my iPod, nothing works on my computer. It works perfectly fine on other computers though.
I should also mention that when I sync my iPod, on my computer it shows that space has been taken up by music, but nothing actually downloads onto my iPod.
Help would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. My iPod shows no music, nor my videos; yet, when I connect it to my laptop and it opens on iTunes, it shows all my music and videos. I'm hoping it'll go back to showing it on the iPod, but I'm worried I might have to reset the iPod

Help! I just downloaded Fast Five from ITunes. I then transfered it to my ITouch. It shows the transfer is complete. I can see it under ITunes, BUT when I look on my Itouch, it doesn't show up. I have tried...deleting all videos on the itouch (which then shows the "no video" msg when I touch the video icon). I then transfered the FF video. I go back to the Itouch, and this fime I don't get the "no video" message but I get a blank video listing screen. Also tried re-syncing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue. My new out-of-the-box 30 GB Video iPod shows I have 15 videos after syncing, my settings have Video set to "On," I can watch the videos in iTunes, and I can and navigate to them through the iPod menu system. However, when I click on a video the screen goes black, I get a Play triangle icon in the upper left screen, I can feel the hard drive spinning, then the triangle goes away for a moment while the screen is totally black, and the screen returns to the navigation where it lists the video. Every video I'm trying to watch is coming straight from the iTunes music store--no home videos.

Connect it to your computer and restore it as a new device. Then chose what music you want to sync with it and do so just like your Touch does.

Font doesn't work in Premiere Titler but DOES in After Effects?

Having trouble figuring out what the issue is on this one. I'm using the GENUINE font, and when trying to create a title inside of Premiere, it doesn't work. It shows up as blocks/rectangles. If I use the font in any other program, such as After Effects (or Illustrator, Word, etc) it works fine. See screenshots below:

Titler is probably the most font-sensitive application (or mini-app), that Adobe has. I have encountered fonts that work fine in PS, AI, InDesign, AE and even older PageMaker, that flat killed Titler. This ARTICLE goes into a bit more detail, and offers a scheme to fix things, in some cases.

How can I use my Dx7 as a MIDI controller for Logic Pro 9? I'm using MIDI/USB cable but Dx7 doesn't appear in the 'set-up' list, what am I doing wrong?

I'm using Logic Pro 9 - 9.1.8
MacBook Pro Retina OSX 10.9.3
DX7 2 FD connected to my laptop with a MIDI/USB cable
When I click the 'scan all models' search in the 'Control Surfaces Set Up' there is no Yamaha DX7 in the list so how can I make Logic 'see' the DX7?

As Colin pointed out, you have to look first in the Audio MIDI Setup. If your MIDI Device doesn't show up there, then Logic cannot see it either (unless you are using Logic Remote on your iPad to play over Wi-Fi).
I'm curious about the "MIDI/USB cable you mention. If the DX7 has a standard 5-pin DIN MIDI out jack, then you have to connect that to a MIDI Interface first that converts the MIDI signal to send it over the USB jack out. Please note that you would see the MIDI Interface in the Audio MIDI Setup app and not the DX7 itself. Also, in Logic you would see the MIDI Interface in the Environment as a valid MIDI input device.

Please help me! I badly want to transfer my videos to my computer but it won't appear as an ipod nano but a usb device instead. So I can't see the DMIC folder. I only see 'Recordings', 'Recylcler', and other folders but I can't see the DMIC folder. And yes, I already enabled it to disk use, but it still won't appear. Please help.

What generation iPod Nano do you have? I assume the Enable Disk Use option is ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes?

In order to delete or add individual songs from and to your iPod, you'll need to enable 'manual mode' on the device. This will allow you to add and remove exactly the content you desire.

When i hit the home button on any particular page, the home page appears on the bar, but it just sits there, doing nothing with a blank screen....

when i activate a web page from the home netzero homepage, and then try to go back to the home page by way of the home button, nothing happens. The status bar says it is trying to go there, but the screen is totally blank white and just sitting there. this happens no matter where i activate a page from, the home button just does not work. thank you in advance for any input .

Verify that the battery is charged (connect to the supplied charger & cable for a couple of hours).
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
