One R/3 connected to Multiple BW

Hello,
Can one R/3 connect to multiple BW?
Will delta correctly function ?
Does one datasource will have multiple delta queue based on connections to BW ?
Pranay

Hello,
Sure, the system holds the delta queues per target system as the initialization is done based on different selections and for a specific BI System.
You can check this:

  • Can one syclo server connect to multiple SAP backends?

    Hi All,
I am working with SAP Service Manager application and the backend is SAP CRM.
As we all know that the backend system setting for syclo server needs to be maintained in the JavaBE.ini file
Suppose I have a requirement where one of my screen has to deal with a status update development and the backend in this case is ECC and not CRM.
Can I achieve this ? I mean can we configure the JavaBE.ini file to connect the multiple SAP backend ? If yes please explain the process/steps to do so.
    Thanks and Regards

    Thanks Bill,
As I understand , Going with Standard SAP Integration mechanism means to have connection with CRM system and ECC system can be called internally from CRM via RFC's . Is my understanding correct here ? This can be done If we create a FC in CRM and internally call ECC FC via RFC.
Also I shall try the second approach too. However I have a question here.
Suppose I create a new JavaBE2.ini file and configure it for ECC.
Later when I create java steps will it automatically detect that which SAP system it should connect to? I cannot explicitly tell the Java step to call the ECC system , Can I ?
    Please advise.
    Thanks

  • Solved. Travel router WTR54GS sharing one wireless hotspot connection with multiple devices

Hi, Passing on info I've learned.
The manual for the WTR54GS mentions being able to "...use multiple devices on a single hotspot account in a coffee shop or airport lounge...". See my original posting, "How to set up a wireless private bubble at paid hotspot? WTR54GS?", which ended in a dead end. I subsequently had a Linksys live chat session and the representative provided the solution. Perhaps worthy to be included in the Wireless FAQ?
Situation: you have access to a paid hotspot (hotel room, meeting room, etc.) and you want to share the connection with several devices, also wirelessly.
Solution: the WTR54GS can accept an incoming Internet connection wirelessely and re-broadcast that connection to form your own private bubble or network. (Note the WTR54GS can also accept an incoming Internet connection via Ethernet cable).
Linksys Live Chat pointed me to these web pages.
Go to the Linksys Easy Answers page: For a schematic of the concept of "associating the travel router to a hotspot (wirelessly)" search for Easy Answer ID# 4831
    URL for above is http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=4831&p_created=1167963305&p_sid=GmLnq3Zi&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NjImcF9wcm9kcz0wJnBfY2F0cz0xNzIxLDE3MjMmcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0yLjE3MjMmcF9zY2ZfbGFuZz0xJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9V1RSNTRHUw**&p_li=&p_topview=1
There is a "configuration simulator" that shows the options for selecting a wired or wireless incoming Internet Type.
    http://linksys.com/ui/files/WTR54GS/1.0_15/Setup-Wireless.htm
The hotspot has to be "open", that is transmitting an SSID and with no WEP or WPA key. It may have a log-in page accessible via a web browser, this is okay as this will be passed onto the connected device.
My personal application is to be able to connect a PDA that has a 801.2b wifi to a 801.2g wireless network. I haven't tried it but if this works, it will extend the useful life of my PDA in a "g" environment. Will report back once I find a "g" only environment. Comments?

There are two conditions which must be met in order to use your WTR54GS to "extend" an incoming, wireless internet connection:
    The incoming connection must be unsecured.  You have already covered this point;
The security settings on your WTR54GS can only be set to "WEP," or to "Disabled."  If you choose "WEP," then you can use either a 40/64-bit, or a 128-bit key.
If those two conditions have been met, then it works fine -- says the guy who is sharing one paid internet conneciton in his hotel amongst three devices, and with co-workers in nearby rooms.

  • Connect one SAP BW system to multiple R/3 systems

    Hi All,
Has anyone done a connection of one SAP BW system to multiple SAP R/3 systems. I know it is theretically possible, but please let me know if anybody has experience of doing it. Our scenario is that take HR data from one R/3 system and other modules data from another R/3 system.
Also please let me know the steps of connecting the systems, the do's and dont's and any special config that needs to be done.
    Also what are the risks?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rajib

    Hello,
after you connected the new source system, there are some additional steps to do. But this is common for all new source systems:
-> Set conversion of source system names in RSA1. This is necessary for Transport of Objects in BW. Go to RSA1->Tools->Conversion of Logical System Names
-> Set Assignment of Source System to Source System ID. You also find this under RSA1-> Tools. This is only important if you use a Source system ID like in IO 0SOURSYSTEM.
-> Replicate Application Component Structure of DataSources. Therefore go to DataSources. Select your Source System (If you are on BI 7.0) and go to the Header, right click you mouse and replicate Tree Metadata and then replicate DataSource.
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • One ECC Connected to multiple CRM systems

    Hello,
We have a scenario where we have single R/3 system (ECC) connected to multiple CRM systems. I would be obliged if someone can send me some documentation on tht.
Also if we are creating an order in ECC, two queues are generated which I think is wrong. Can someone give me some advice on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Priyanka

    Hello Pratik,
I would define two different systems in ECC. In such a case, if say I create one material in R/3 (ECC) then should it generate two diffrent queues for flow to CRM.
Also if say the CRM Release etc for the two systems connected to one R/3 are not the same, then how do i take care of the entries in the ECC Config tables for replication i.e CRMFILTAB, CRMCONSUM, CRMPAROLTP etc.
And how does the ECC system identify what settings it has to take for what CRM system and what queues have to be generated? What are the queues to be registered in CRM and ECC in such a case.
Would be obliged if you can give me a more detailed advice.

  • One SAP R/3 to Multiple Business One (B1I) Sites

    Hi,
I would really appreciate your assistance.
I would like to confirm the various settings when you have one SAP R/3 system connected to multiple (3) Business One systems with B1i.
In SAP R/3 we have created the following:
    Logical System:
    B1I00 First Branch
    B1I01 Second Branch
    B1I02 Third Branch
We have created three RFC destinations:
B1I00 with program ID B1IRFC00 and port A000000011
B1I01 with program ID B1IRFC01 and port A000000012
B1I02 with program ID B1IRFC02 and port A000000013
Each RFC destination is linked to the IP address etc of the respective B1 System.
We have created three distribution models with the message types and the various logical systems and production database:
    B1I00TOPD2
    B1I01TOPD2
    B1I02TOPD2
The partner profiles has been generated and adjusted as per the documentation.  All relevant output conditions have been maintained.
In the B1I setting of each site, we have maintained the following:
SAP R/3 settings such as Application server, user ID, gateway etc.
Sender partner and sender port is:
    B1I00 port B1I00
    B1I01 port B1I01
    B1I02 port B1I02
    Program ID is:
    B1IRFC00
    B1IRFC01
    B1IRFC02
Although both branch 1 and 2 can connect to SAP R/3 and SAP R/3 can connect to branch 1, the working connection of branch 1 stopped working as soon as we added the other two.
Can you please confirm our settings?  Does the registration of the program ID happen with a test connection from the branch B1I system?
    Regards
    Martin van Wyk

    Hi Eddy,
    Thanks for your detailed answer.
You are correct, I am talking about the program ID in R/3.  The documentation for a first B1 system is very good.  We are trying to determine what changes are needed when you add a second B1 to an R/3 system.
We established that when you use the same program ID in the RFC destination, we get a conflict.
I would like to confirm that for a second B1 site, we need to create a different Logical system, use a different program ID and obviously use different partner details (customer etc.).
When the program ID is not registered the test connection from R/3 to B1I doesn't work.  I have been able to register the program by simply doing a Test Connection from B1I to R/3.

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.

    Hi
The only possible way which I could find for your requirement is that of DB Links. Establish DataBase Links among the multible databases, with which you want to work in one session. Peform all your actions through the DB Links.

  • R/3 connected to multiple XI instances

Can a single R/3 instance be connected to multiple XI instances at the same time?  If so are there any limitations and is there any special considerations that should be taken into account?

Limitation is only when you are using proxy because here you are using native XI protocol and depend on these administration settings in SXMB_ADM. In SXMB_ADM there is one selection you can choose either INTEGRATION SERVER or NON INTEGRATION SERVER. If you choose non integration you have to point to your current integration server and here you can only fill one destination.
    Assuming :
    Type XI : R/3
    RFC  N   : M
    IDOC N   : M
    Proxy (XI) 1:N
    other adapters N : M
    where
    N,M - any number
By the way using few XI servers connected to one R/3 is a little bizzare

  • WRT610N - connected to multiple networks?

Hi all, I bought and set up one of these routers yesterday and initially my laptop reported it was connected to multiple networks, same SSID but different antennae, it meant I could switch between 2.4 and 5.0 GHz without dropping connection and obviously had great connection strength.  But after a shut down and restart it will now only connect to one antenna at a time.  Which is the correct way for the connection to work, should it be connected to only one antenna at a time?
    Thanks in advance.

I've obviously not been clear, when I set up the router yesterday I set different SSIDs for the two bands, LINKSYS1 for 5GHz and LINKSYS2 for 2.4GHz.  When I connected to LINKSYS1 I got 2 connections simultaneously, one labelled "LINKSYS1" and another lablled "LINKSYS1   2" both providing a 5GHz connection.  I also had another connection at one point called "LINKSYS1   3".  Exact same thing happened when I connected to the 2.4GHz band "LINKSYS2" (i.e. I had 2 connections labelled "LINKSYS2" and "LINKSYS2   2" both providing a 2.4GHz connection).  Hovering over the network icon showed 2 connections and network and sharing center showed connected to multiple networks.  When I restarted it this morning it's only connecting to one and the converage isn't as good (could get 100% signal from outside last night and stream DVD iso's but it's buffering quite a bit today).  I've googled it and some other people have mentioned the same thing but they seemed to think it was a fault, but it gave me better coverage than I'm getting today.  What I was asking was which is the correct way for it to operate, as one connection or multiple connections.

What is stopping you from having more than one database
    connection
string? You can select the connection from each behaviour
    that needs
    different databases.
Or is then intent to combine the data from 2 database into
    one recordset?

  • Java client connecting to multiple weblogic instances

We have a standalone java client JMS application that needs to connect to multiple

The client works fine when we obtain an initial context to the multiple instances

You should first establish a trust relationship between your Weblogic
    servers:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs70/secmanage/domain.html#1171534
It is very poorly documented since this is a change in the behavior with
previous versions and should have been in the Release Notes but instead
    is inside the normal documentation.
