One Saprouter for two Systems

HI, i need help with this situation:
I have 2 servers A and B
-A has a Solution Manager and a Saprouter
-B has an ERP 6.0 Ides
A has a public IP but B doesn´t
Today I can use Solution Manager outside the office addressing to A´s public Address, but i cant access to the ERP because B has no public address.
May i connect to my ERP through the A Saprouter?

EWA Report not being sent for two systems

Hi Experts,
We are having one issue in EWA Report in solution manager. Searched hard but could not find solution.
Our solution manager is configured to provide EWA for 4 systems- ECC, BW, PI and Solution manager itself.
The configurations are in place to the extend that we are able to view the weekly reports in Solution manager.
Issue is -
1. We are able to recieve mail notification for Solution Manager and ECC but not able to get for BW and PI.
2. The ECC report is coming ok, but Solution manager report is blank.
The places I checked the configuration -
1. SDCCN for all systems.
2. SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN - all systems active and chcked for EWA
3. Background Jobs for all systems -Maintenance Package, Refresh Session, Earlywatch Alert for Solution Manager
4. Background Jobs related to the task including SM:EXEC SERVICES
Later on I deleted and rescheduled the job SM:EXEC SERVICES to make sure it covers all systems.
Data is visible in Solution Manager but report is not being sent over mail for two systems- BW and PI.
Solution manager report is being sent but empty.
Please suggest.

Hi all - is it really possible to use one license for two computers or is it just a rumor?

I heard that it would be possible that you can use one license for two computers. Is that the truth? And if so - how does it work?

Adobe CC or any perpetual previous version allows you to install & activate it two times (on the same computer or other different one).
As per End user license agreement, only one computer can be used at one given time.

How to create one delivery for two sales orders?

Hi Experts,
I need to create one delivery for two sales orders. But it fails.
The route, shipping point, ship to party are same for both orders but INCOTERMS are different.
Delivery date, Good issue date, loading date,material availability date, transportation planning date for 1st order is 12/07/11 and for second order is 14/07/11.
I have created delivery on 14/07/2011 but the delivery is created for 1st order only, the second order is missing in the delivery.
It not happened because of incorterms.? different dates

To understand splitting behavior, see SAP Note 546668 - FAQ: Delivery split when creating deliveries. And yes, incoterms happens.
I think that with the help of question 6 you can try to force the merging of SO. Then, see SAP Note 166397 - Delivery split according to customer field ZUKRL, and handling the field ZUKRL in a VOFM in the copy rule I think that you can try to do it.
Finally See Note 4505 - Duprec when adding delivery (VL04, VL01, VL10*) to avoid problems while you are merging.

i want to configuration SAP web dispatcher for two hosts
web dispatcher has installed on saprate host( host are accessible via public ally) and other host contains two ABAP system are in same host.
i have configure two HTTP ports in the Web Dispatcher profile
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP, PORT=8888
icm/server_port_1 = PROT=HTTP, PORT=7777
In addition, you define the system assignments, as follows:
wdisp/system_0 = SID=ERP, MSHOST=ms_erp, MSPORT=8082, SRCSRV=*:8888
wdisp/system_1 = SID=CE1, MSHOST=ms_erp, MSPORT=8127, SRCSRV=*:7777
but i want to know how can do the url mapping i want to open WEBGUI for both ABAP systems.
and how can access?

Is a one server with two system IDs configuration valid when using MSCS

As the last step in my upgrade from BW30b to BI70 I need to introduce Java.
My newly upgraded ABAP BI70 system is running on a Microsoft Cluster and it was my intention to add Java as a separate system(SID). When doing this it appeared I would be able to add the two systems to the same cluster group by selecting "Support of multiple SAP systems in one MSCS cluster" but this resulted in errors and I have found note 967123 which tells me not to chose this option when using MSCS.
It appears my options are a separate server all together or an ABAP+Java install which limits our upgrade options on each stack.
If anyone has found a work around for this I would be very interested.

Not sure how the D-Link works, but it looks like it has Wireless 802 also from the specs, so the Ethernet & Wireless would each have an IP & different MAC addies.
I always thought one Mac address can have only one IP address.
Nope, you can prove this to yourself on your Mac, In Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations, highlight say Ethernet, Copy, give that another IP Manually if you wish...

% DB increase differs for two system from the same landscape

Hi all ,
I have done upgrade and then unicode conversion for the two system- sandbox and development from 4.6 C to ECC 6.0 with oracle 10 G and AIX 5.3
On sandbox % db( used db size in DB02 ) increase is 60 to 80 which is as per SAP figures after unicode conversion however on dev it is almost 150 % .
Has anybody faced the same problem before or can you suggest somthing for this tremendous data growth
Also what I have observed is threre are 7 tablespace on sandbox and 8 on Dev with "PSAPSR370" as the additional one on DEV ( PSAPSR3700 is different )
Please help me on this

the database growth depends heavily on the content. Which languages do you have installed in your system and which modules are used by your company?
I think the normal growth should be in a range of zero to 30 percent. The lower end comes from the reorganization effect due to the migration and 30 percent comes due to the fact that most data is normally numeric and numbers are the same with or without Unicode. But in rare situations it could be possible to see much higher values. The reason is, that Oracle, and also DB2, are using UTF-8 encoding if you're running your system as Unicode system. In UTF-8 a two byte Unicode character could be encoded in up to four bytes. That means if your systems contains lots of double byte characters it could grow much more than 30% but it seems unusual to me.
Are you sure that nothing was wrong with your migration?

Icloud mail out on one account for two days in texas

Does anyone know what is wrong with icloud mail? My account is fine, husband's has not worked for two days. We are in the Dallas, Texas area.

This is a second day of no icloud service. Completely unacceptable! I've been an apple guy since 1985 but this is going to send me away. They want the iphone and ipad to be business tools - then it has to have back up systems in place. These are not toys to us! They had better not brag about icloud services at the announcement today - and they had better address the problem up front and admit to it at the event! It's all over the world and must be far more than the 1%. If that's the case - then they're just lying about the extent - which is really not cool.

Automatic Deployment Rule - One ADR for Two Different Collection for Two Different time Intervals

I have a scenario where two collection of Windows 8.1 is made based on geographical location. One collection is for all the windows 8.1 machines in India and one collection is for all windows 8.1 machines in US. Now I have created one ADR to be deployed
to the Collection for Machines in India with a schedule.
My requirement is that can i use the same ADR for those two collection with different schedule. Say I want ADR to be deployed in India at say 10:PM IST and for US collection at say 10:00 PM PST.
Can I use one ADR with two different schedule and can be deployed to two different collection. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Couple of "bits" to help you one your patch automation quest:
A ADR is very much a 1:1:1 rule. It creates (or updates) ONE update group, deploys it to ONE collection, and you can provide ONE schedule. While you are more than capable of flipping said deployment time to use local time instead of UTC, in general
it's a very simple set of rules that are dogmatically run.
That said because of the "include" feature of collections it's not that hard to setup a good/robust patching pattern. What I recommend doing is building an ADR for each variance of deployment of patches or enforcement time. for example,
my ADRs look something like this:
Software Updates - Zero day enforced
Software Updates - Critical and Security 1 month enforced
Software Updates - Critical and Security 1 month no reboots
Exact terminology is up to you of course, but I find a good descriptive ADR name saves a lot of confusion. For each ADR I create an identical collection. From there I can use existing collections and a simple "include collection" rule
to bundle things up and make them part of the patching schedule of my choice. Anyone can now go into my "software update" folder, look at my collections, and know exactly what gets patched by what deadline.
Finally, don't be afraid to look into maintenance windows to trim down ADR count. Making a deployment available for a month before it goes enforced, then setting up groups of maintenance windows (one for each Friday of the week for example) can also
accomplish a similar goal by having machines auto-patch during their week but you only using one ADR.
So by having two "types" of collections to manage your patching (one to assign a ADR built by deployment deadlines, the other for exact update windows) you should be able to group most your workstations into a decent patch scheudle without being
too excessive about creating a billion ADRs.

One username for two tunnel in IPSec remote access vpn + ACS for authentication

I want to set up a username which can be used for two different IPSec tunnel (i.e. username USER1 can be used in tunnel TUN1 and TUN2). Can anyone help me how to do this? My current configuration is that I tied the username to tunnel group using group-lock (RADIUS property) so a username can only be used for a particular remote access vpn tunnel (USER1 can only be used for TUN1). I have already tried to enable multiple entry for group lock in ACS (by manipulating the dictionaru setting in ACS), but it seems that authentication still takes the first group and can not take the second group.

You'd have to create a new AAA server group pointing to servers in the new domain for authentication.
Then make a new connection profile that uses that AAA server group.
Your users would have to choose the connection profile (absent some more advanced tricks like issuing them user certificates that can be checked for attributes which map to one profile or another).
This could also be done with ISE 1.3 which can act as the RADIUS server and join to multiple AD domains on the backend as identity stores. (or even with ISE 1.2 if you use one of the AD directories as an LDAP store vs. native AD).

One server for two independ customer installations

I'm going to create two SQL instance so DBs are in differente scope, and with license manager I could administrate two different license file..

you're right with two different VM you can manage that, but this is similar to have two different server. My goal is to use only a server (phisical or virtual)... I think with 8.8 version we can do it, but I glad if someone has some experience of this scenario..

One instance for two different application

Hello,
I have to solve following problem..
need have one instance of object for two different application..fist is standard SE application and second is EE (web)..
SE application is a server..listen on and accepting connection from mobile phone..and EE application need to show list of connected devices and should say to SE application that new device was connected..
I would like to do this without database..only server and web app..
I have thought about RMI..but hope there is more simple solution..

I would like to do this without database..only server and web app..You have your reasons for wanting this to be the case. If you are sure you don't want a DB, then pass the state of the object between the two ends using XML as the transport form. As someone said, you can use JMS or you can write an HTTP POST or probably other transport mechanisms other people will suggest to actually get it over the wire from one side to the other.
As to your question of how to sync state, just make the object you're sharing final after it's been created (on the side that creates it) and make the reference that receives it and holds it final also, after you've reconstructed it from the XML you received.

One PO for two different vendors

How does it work ?
How is it sent to different Vendors ?.
Will the vendor receive one general PO containing all line item materials from different vendors...or Each vendor will receive his own line item PO (PO Split)...

Yes you can maintain 2 different vendors for 2 different materials. But you cannot create a single PO (i.e. PO with same number) for 2 different vendors. I do not understand why you want to create one PO for 2 vendors supplying different materials. Can you please explain the logic for it?

One workflow for two list

Hello:
Is there a possibility to have one workflow and use it for two list. For example, I have a workflow1 for list A and the document A has been approved, in list 2 Can I use workflow 1 ? If I can use the workflow1, then if I upload a document A, will I see the
status as 'Approved' ?
What I am looking for is that once the document is approved via certain workflow and if user upload this document on their MySite document library then they should know by uploading the document if it has been already approved or not somewhere else.

I am not sure if the Metadata associated with the file in List 1 will be carried over to list 2 if the user is going to upload the same file to list 2. Incase of InfoPath forms this is possible by creating a column in the form.
@Udaya - Even if Visual studio is used to create workflows and attach it to many list, every user will have his or her own mysite, so how will we know on whose mysite the workflow should be associated?

Reffering one pagedef for two jsff

I am reffering one pagedef file for two different jsff.
In Jsff1 iam adding records to the grid.
I want to see the records newly added,edited in the Jsff2
but iam unable to get the output.
I am adding the record to the iterator in first Jsff, and refferring the same in second jsff.
Iam using separate jspx for the jsff.
May i know why i am not getting the data in second jsff.

Hi,
You can achieve the desired use case by creating simple task flow there is nothing you can do with Page definition files.
1) create a task flow with 2 View activities
2) Create a navigation control between them
3) drag collection to View 1 and View 2 both could be different styles......(Table and Form)
4) Create a button and set Action to the Outcome name in Task flow in both pages.
