One shopping cart three PO's

Hi Gurus
In one incident from one line item of shopping cart three PO's are getting created.Can you please tell me the reasons for that.I have checked the time and they are created on the same day around same time.Please guide me.

In reference to the info. provided by you....
It is very much possible to create three P.Os from a single shopping cart. I mean for each line item you can have one P.O.
This is possible in case you have different vendors for each line item.
Also check if some BADI is active to split SC into different P.Os even though the vendor is same for all line items.
Please provide exact information for further help.

How to calculate multiple Drop Shippers in one shopping Cart/Basket?

Hi all,
We would like to know if it is possible for BC to calculate each drop shippers product weight individually instead of just the weight of the products in the shopping cart?
Here is the example:
Say the shipping is set at £3.75 for 0-500g
Drop shipper #1 product weighs 100g and will cost them £3.75 for this particular product to be delivered. I add x1 to the cart.
Drop shipper #2 product weighs 200g and will cost them £3.75 for this particular product to be delivered. I add x2 to the cart.
If you add the x3 products from Drop shipper #1 & #2 the cart will calculate shipping at £3.75. But we need to give £3.75 to both drop shippers for there delivery.
We can set it so both the products weighs 500g then the cart will calculate the cost for the shipping on the order at £11.25 this is too much.
Is it possible to have it so BC will calculate each of the drop shippers products weight individually so at the end the shipping for x1 products from Drop shipper #1 and x2 products from Drop shipper #2 will come to £7.50.
Sorry if the example is a bit long winded but it seems to be the only way to describe this.

Unfortunately the system is not set up to trigger drop shipping based on various weight only by the individual product.
So I guess the only workaround would be to create individual product items dependant on the weight.
Product 1 - Item (100-199g)
Product 2 - Item (200-299g)
and so on...
Not the greatest solution but the only option I see at this stage.

Items in the shopping cart appear with different price than in the catalog

Hi All,
We are running SRM 5.0 (Classic Scenario) with external catalogues.
After selecting items from the external catalogue and transferring them to the shopping cart, the items appear with different price(the problem exists in the productive system)
The strange thing is that there is no dependence or sequence between the differences. For example, in one shopping cart, one item is with correct price, the price of the other item is not correct (when I click on the icon which is showing item details in the catalogue, the price is different than the one in the shopping cart). Sometimes the difference is significant, sometimes not - if the item price in the catalogue is 22.34 EUR, in the shopping cart is 21.22EUR or if the item is 45.62EUR in the shopping cart is 45.60 EUR. There is no logic.
I tried to create a shopping cart in the support system, with the same items from this catalogue, and they are sent back in SRM with the correct prices.
I traced all OCI parameters, sent from the supplier catalogue, and everything is correct.
At the example given below the price in the shopping cart ordered in the productive system is 69.00CZK, and after that during the test the correct price of 73.870CZK has appeared.

I checked the error log in SLG1 for BBP_OCI, and no error message exists. In my opinion the problem can be in supplier system, because otherwise all items will be with wrong price. And at the moment, there are shopping carts in which all items are with the correct price!
It is not something in the user profile, because in one shopping cart created by one user some items are correct, some of them not.
I also checked with the supplier, they said that they haven't change the price, recently.
Has somebody of you met this problem?
In the IMG-> Define External Web Services (Catalogs, Vendor Lists etc.) I have set all parameters for the standard call structure: the URL of the supplier, our company ID and password for their catalogue.
In the Detail view for the catalogue, the following parameters are set

-     Display product data again in the catalogue
-     Validate product data from SAP Enterprise Buyer
-     Find supply sources

That means that we are not maintaining material numbers in SRM, so there are no predefined price or info records for that materials in R/3 system, or in SRM.
In the set up of external catalogues, validation of the price is set. Which means that, if a new shopping cart is created from already existing one, and meanwhile, a change of the price is done by the supplier in the catalogue, the new item price will be adopted in the shopping cart.
No prices are maintained in the SRM system, everything is from the supplier catalogue.

The shopping cart net price is "0" according contract

I work in SRM 7.0 ,SP03 ,Extended Classic Scenario.
I create one shopping cart according contract (status:released).In the Tab"source od supplier " the available contract will display .But the netprice is "0".I checked the contract and find that the price of the contract is not "0".So ,I do not know why? I debug the program --BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK ,and find the net price of contract is "0".

srm price is zero since you dont maintain a price for material.
EBP_backend_prices report brings a material price from ECC to SRM.
however it is called dummy price and used for only approval puropse. the real price will take it from your contract while CREATING PO>
CREATE A SC FOR THAT MATERIAL AND JUST MANUALLY ENTER 1 $.
I AM SURE. YOUR PO WILL BE CREATED WITH 5 $ .
AFATER APPROVING THE CART, YOU CAN SEE THE PO VALUE. IT WILL PICK FROM YOUR SOS -SOURCE OF SUPPLY FIXED VENDOR CONTRACT.

Implementing Shopping cart

I wrote the code for implementing only one shopping cart. BUt there is problem. I wrote this code but it's not able to populate the sku's id.
I am using CRS database. And implementing own project.

Making Muliple Shopping Carts Under The Same iTunes Account

In our home, we have one iTunes account, but there is more than one person who needs to use that account. Is there a way to make it so everyone has their own personal shopping cart instead of everyone having one shopping cart and all the songs getting mixed up?

By iTunes Accounts, I mean the iTunes Store Account (credit card). Everyone has their own libraries on their own Macs. Thanks for the tip about putting the songs in a playlist. I never thought of doing that.

Web Dynpro SRM 7.0 - Access Shopping Cart One Screen User Default Settings

In my current project I have a requirement which includes to validate the user default values on shop on one screen functionality, my question is, how can I access to this information? In web dynpro there's no reference to this information and in addition is not stored in the database as is only "available" during the current Shopping Cart creation.

One Step Workflow Activation for Shopping cart in SRM 7.0

Dear Experts,
On working to EXtended Classic Scenario, I need to configure one step approval for shopping cart in SRM 7.0.
Currently it is providing me Auto Approval by default and based on it PO is being created. I need one-level manager approval shopping cart.
I am working in Demo System of Extended Classic Scenario, I need only one step approval SC without any condition.
Kindly tell me the configuration steps in SRM and please tell me one more thing is there any need of BADI or other coding for one-step approval?

Multiple users and shopping carts, one searchable index?

Hi all,
I've got an idea but I would like to know if it possible with Business Catalyst. I'll try and explain as simply as possible:
I have multiple users (let's say 10). They all need separate shopping carts as they are all selling different products. They all need their own admin areas that keep track of their incomes, workflows, shopping carts, etc. They are essentially 10 independent users. Will the WebCommerce10 plan satisfy their needs, or will 10 separate WebCommerce single plans need to be sold?
Taking the above into account, is there anyway to have 10 independent shopping carts, but they can all be searchable simultaneously? e.g. think eBay, lots of users with their own independent admin areas and products, but one search field returning many results from all the user's shopping carts? Is there anyway to achieve something like this with BC? Can subdomains do this? Any other ideas how to achieve this if none of the above is possible?
My plan B is having a landing page where a link for each of the 10 users will take them to their relevant shopping carts, but this experience isn't quite as integrated as I would like, from a web surfer's point of view.

Hi Robbie,
Yes, this would require significant modification to the shopping cart functionality. As it is now, it's very dependent the ShoppingCart being associated with the session and therefore the user. To change that would be significant work.
Additionally, if you had two people logging in to the same account and editing the same order around the same time, this would tend to not to work well. This is because two users would be two sessions and they would often get routed to different app server instances. Because the way orders are managed, there's no way to immediately sync up the changes between multiple instances, and if you managed to do it would likely slow things down drastically. I would not recommend trying this with ATG.

How can we determine if there will be more than one follow on document created for a single shopping cart.
One reason could be if shopping cart items have different source of supply.
What could be the other reasons. Also is there any way by which we can debug and find out the number of follow on documents created for a single shoppining cart.

There's a FM to get all the follow on documents related to the SC and all the relations per item... use <b>BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL</b> and retrieve the <b>E_HEADER_REL</b> for the SC relations, and the <b>E_ITMLIM_REL</b> for each <b>item relations</b>.. there you will see:
OBJECT_ID_A -> OBJECT_ID_B
what it means is the relation between a SC and the PO, or the SC with a BID... you can identify the object types by taking a look in the 'BUS...'
OBJTYPE_A -> OBJECTTYPE_B
SC -> BUS2121
PO-> BUS2201
BID-> BUS2200
etc...
I hope this can help you to retrieve what you need....

                We are upgrading from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0,In SC Creation We want to copy Delivery address of one line item in shopping cart to all line items in Shopping cart by clicking Change All Items button.This is custom button we added this button and we had written code to achieve the functionality but it is not working.This is same like Change All Items button in Account Assigment for copy accont details of one line item to all other line items in SC.

Group itens from shopping cart into one PO

I am using SRM 5.5, extendeed classic scenario, I am using automatic grouping, my problem is I need that several shopping carts creates just one PO if the requestor are the same.
What BDI can I use ?

Hi Nilson,
For Grouping shopping carts to create either P.Os or BID invitations there is no need to use a BADI. You have to execute the report <b>BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED</b> using SA38 transaction.
You can specify your criteria in that like group all SCs from a particular P.Org, P.Group, Product Category, Product etc.You can schedule a back ground job for this at particular intervals so that it automatically groups all the SCs as per the specified criteria and create either P.Os or BID invitations as per your requirement.
Also in SPRO > IMG > SRM > SRM Server > Sourcing specify your sourcing criteria as Auto grouping etc etc.
A single P.O is only created when the vendor is same for all the items that are being sourced otherwise different P.Os will be created for different vendors.

The creation of the SC stays the same. Only the event linkage and the start conditions determine which workflow will be started.

Does any one know of a cood shopping cart?

I tried cartweaver and they are a ripoff. I need a shopping cart to add to one of my sites, if anyone knows of one please help.

I've tried several times at resolving this problems to no avail. I moved al the cartweaver files to godaddy, setup a sql batabase, made all the changes and I still am no closer to resolving this problem with cartweaver. Hiding one field in SRM 4.0 Shopping Cart Screen

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we want to hide one standard field of Shopping Cart. I tried this with UI control BADI but that doesn't have method related to SC. Moreover SC_UI_MODIFY BADI is not useful for this purpose. Someone told me to check at BSP level for this change.
Can anybody guide me how it can be done.
