One slot can not recognize RAM

Hi there
I am using the
HP G62t-350 CTO Notebook PC
I want to upgrage RAM up to 8 GB (already have 1 RAM with 4 GB
However, slot 2 can not recognize RAM I purchased, I replaced that RAM to slot 1, it work correctly, both 2 RAM work. But only one slot work with RAM
What should I do to get it fixed?

If your notebook is still under warranty you should contact HP to get the motherboard replaced because that is the only way it can be fixed.

Do you remember if you have installed some software prior to this issue?
Delete programs you never use.
If the issue reoccurs in Clean Boot, but works fine in Safe Mode, the cause may be the disabled hardware drivers. You may narrow down the
causes in Device Clean Boot.

SpeedGrade 2014 cc 8.2 can not recognize gh4 4k footage (24fps)

I had the same problem with Speedgrade and gh4 cinema 4k just mentioned in SpeedGrade 2014 cc 8.0, then I upgrade to 8.2, but SG still can not recognize my Gh4 4k Footage.The footage was recorded as mov.

2.6GHz intel core i5
8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

From my understanding, DPX files (which are complete frames on disc for every frame of the program) are a lot of work for disc read/write but don't place much load on CPU and none on GPU. MOV files, which are compressed of course, place some load on read/write (disc in/out) but not nearly as much as DPX ... and use correspondingly a lot more CPU/RAM. This is where the hardware of your laptop may be having an affect on output. 4K footage de-encoding does have a ton more processing for the CPU and work for the bus & RAM also compared with 2k or "standard" 1080p for instance.
As I know of folks processing GH4 4k files natively without hiccup in PrPro and in Sg, I'm thinking this could be the problem ... simply not quite enough hardware in that laptop for 4k encoded files. It would be nice if say Dennis Weinmann or Fran Roig might post on here a possible confirmation.

The permissions are fine, and I have trashed the finder plist and reset the NVRAM.
Anyone have a answer?

Tips I received so far (thanks to A-Mac via Twitter http://www.a-mac.nl and Remco Kalf http://www.remcokalf.nl/)
- make sure you have at least 10% of your harddisk in free space (I had only 5%).
- do a PRAM-reset (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379)
- perform a hardware test (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509)
- make a complete backup (with for example Carbone Clone Copier, see http://www.bombich.com/)
- after complete backup: use diskwarrior (boot from Diskwarrior DVD, first perform diagnostics, then perform "Rebuild" which rebuilds your file directory).
So far I only cleared up some space on my HD, and already the problem occurs less.
Still, I will go through the other tips too.
(will post progress)

My hp dm3-3027cl card reader can not recognize the class 10 sdhc card. I downloaded and installed the card reader driver from HP web site for this dm3-3027cl, but still have same problem. There isn't a problem on class 6 SDHC card. It seems some other computers have the same problem on reading the class 10 SDHC card. My toshiba e105 laptop has no probblem to read class 10 SDHC card.

Yes. You need 2011 or later in order to mirror as it requires the newer processor. The alternative is airparrot, which does it via software.

One user can not retrieve email from phone

I have one user can not hear the email from the IP phone, Text-To-Speech configured for this subscriber, listen voice message on the IP phone no problem, from outlook side, no problem, checked everything looks fine. any idea what happened for this?

Actually this is system wide problem, other users not reported.
Solution: The unity primary server was out of synch with the exchange message store, restarted the Message Store svc, problem solved.

One contact can not recive my texts, he has a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T and I have an Iphone 5s with Verizon and IOS8. Other people with the iphone 5s, verizon and IOS8 can text him and he will reccive theirs. Why can he not recive mine? We both can still call each other and he can text me and I reccive them. The texts I send him never come back and say not delivered so I am assuming they are getting lost somewhere. Is this an AT&T problem or Verizon, also how can I fix this? I need a quick fix!!

You said that your iPhone is saying "Not Delivered" which means that for some reason your iPhone is trying to text him via the iMessage system as that is the only time that you'll get a "Not Delivered" "Delivered" or "Read" message sent back underneath the text that you recently sent. I also noticed that you said that your friend is using GS3. So if I'm thinking correctly, your iPhone think that your friend is using an iPhone as well. If you go into your settings and turn off iMessage then every text will be sent as SMS over the cell tower...then he should start receiving them. This is only a temporary fix unless you don't care to use the iMessage service anyway. Hope this sheds some light...

i just bought an ipod nano 2 days ago.
i connected ipod correctly. ipod folder shows in my computer and i can open it too. but both iPod updater and itunes say that ipod is not connected. in iPod updater, the both buttons, restore and renew button, are grey (not black) and can not click it. In itunes, when i go to Edit---> set up----> and iPod, it says that 'no iPod is connected' i have been working with this thing for 2 days now and so ****** off. i tried everything in the PDF help file and in the FAQ help page. nothing works.

Newer versions of iPhoto (particularly iPhoto '09) are more stable and have more recovery features than iPhoto 5 does
In general if you stay out of the iPhoto library you will not have problems - although computers do fail and the backups are important (I have several backups including a daily clone, Time Machine and periodic backups to DVD )

Yes - but it is easy to mess things up with multiple versions running and it would be very complicated to have your new photos in one library and your olds one in a different library (different versions of iPhoto can not access the same library)
I do not keep old versions of iPhoto - Old Toad does - if you want to do that ask here and he can advise on how to accomplish it and teh issues to watch for

Iphoto can not recognize volume..

hello there, I searched this community for this question, but the asker had different problems, so I am asking for help.
Just recently, this last few weeks, iPhoto began displaying a strange message : "iphoto cannot recognize volume of [followed by photo title]"
The image becomes a problem once I click on it in iPhoto, and so dragging the picture out to send to somebody is now impossible.
I can not figure out why this has happened.
Can somebody help please?

- To answer your first question I believe Yes, as when I import new from digital camera there seemed another place photos would import to unless I dragged the camera icon into selected or New Album.
- To answer your second question I open iPhoto from its position in the dock.

Xbox one controller can not connect windows

I have xbox one controller, but i can not connect to the windows on my iMac 21,5" late 2012 even though the driver was already installed on the windows

I don't have the xbox one controller but the xbox 360 controller and it works fine in windows 8.1 in bootcamp on my imac
