One thing I miss is being able to have different "vibrates' for different events. My BB 9700 allowed me to set short/medium/long lengths and one/two/three vibrates. It would be great to get these back on the BB Z10 again.

All BB needs to do is offer the same notification functionality they had in OS 7.1 (I say 7.1 as they gave you control over the LED colour as well which was great), and it would be perfect. Notifications on every other platform pail in comparison to what my 9900 could do (and unfortunately the Z10 is included in that list).
I know it is a new OS but it isn't likey they don't know what they need to offer.
Hopefully it comes sooner than later as this is one of those 'key' BlackBerry experiences which has been lost as part of the 'upgraded' OS.

Being able to have one sigle file open in a specific application or have a user directory

Wonder if anyone can help with the following request ?
One things doesn't make sense with the WIFI mini I Pad Latest IOS :
If you have several programs that can open a specific file as PDF for example why do you have to upload the same file ( PDF) into to each specific application folder or cache. Resulting in multiple copy of the file (PDF) copied on your I pad??? which translate to a useless waste of space.
Wouldn't it be easier having a single directory where the user can save all of his file/s and each program that can manipulate that particular file have access to it. As an example I got several program that that can run an excel file and am enjoying a multiple copy of the same workbook loaded into my WIFI MINI.. this is just blatant waste of memory/ disk space on my Ipad..... I wonder there is a program that allows me to save all this file in a single directory and give me the opportunity to open each file with a specific application of my choice?????

There's a clear distinction between temporary files, and files downloaded to the users' download folder.
Or at least, there should be.
I'm inclined to call this a bug, since the user (being me) didn't ask for the download.
Downloading upon opening a site from the address bar is a different action than downloading from within a site (e.g. clicking a url shortcut or a button to download from an indirection).

A problem no one seems to be able to have an answer for

Im still having the problem of not being able to retreve my emails because of a port 110 problem. I think it is probably because of the internet settings that i have no control over but it did work until around the time i installed the 2007 security updates.
The server error encountered was: The server "pop.1and1.co.uk" cannot be contacted on port 110.
It works for about an hour every week at a random time but other than that it just give me that message in a split second, as i click get mail i get the message straight away. Doesnt even look like its trying to connect.
It does work fine over Airport though. What could possibly cause it not to work over ethernet when it used to be fine?

For people to try to help you would need to provide a bit of detail, like what the wireless card connects to, and how that is connected, and what is at the other end of the ethernet cable, and is all this at home or at work ... for starters.

You can sync content from up to five iTunes Store accounts to any given computer or device. You just will each have to copy the content into your own libraries so you can sync to your devices and have your devices authorized to all applicable accounts.

Sorry if this does not appear helpful, but it is probably something that you have done.
I suggest you scan for malware with multiple and up to date tools, and in future take more care what you download and install with Firefox.
BTW Where did you get Firefox from initially was it an already customised version from Yahoo or somewhere else ? String problem: Not being able to escape a parenthesis for a possible regex

So, I have barely any clue how to operate regular expressions except for a little bit of knowledge of it in PHP.
What I'm trying to do is to separate the first part of a string from a qualifier, so I need a regular expression since I would ideally like to be able . The problem I'm having is that my attempt at the separation isn't working. I've tried doing what I think the Pattern or Matcher class does, I've tried using String.split, and I've tried using the regular String.replace method. What I'm trying to do is illustrated (I hope) in the following SSCCE:

So I'm not sure how to tell Java that I'm actually using literal parentheses.
I already tried configuring my error preferences to ignore everything it could, but that didn't work.
I don't know if it matters, but I'm using Java 1.6 and Eclipse for PHP 1.3.2.20110218-0812.

I was having the same problem and this seemed to work, not sure which was the solution though because I didnt check between either.
1. If you go on your iPhone settings > iCloud and then turn on contacts
2. Go to iPhone settings > Mail, Contacts, Calenders and tap "Import SIM contacts"
Hope this helps! I think it is probably the first option, but it takes about a minutes for them to appear.

Imported text from word, all missing fonts found, but still have pink boxes for Turkish language

I placed a document from word. The body font is ITC Garamond. Apparently ITC Garamond doesn't have some Turkish characters. Adobe Garamond however, does. So I was going through and selecting each pink box and changing the character to a new character style I created which is the Adobe Garamond Font. Surely there's an easier way to do this rather than me selecting each pink box? Can GREP do this? I would use the Find Font dialogue, but it shows all fonts as being fine, it doesn't show any missing fonts. So this seems to just be a wierd issue with ITC Garamond not having those special characters.
I know what you're thinking, why not just make my body font Adobe Garamond Pro.... Well I can't right now. Not for this job. Maybe in the future I will, but for not it has to stay ITC Garamond condensed Book.
Also, I should note that in the preflight panel, InDesign does not show the document as having any missing Glyphs either.... so Peter's Glyph script won't work.

In your case I would not add or change a character style, change your paragraph style. A mix between 2 similar fonts looks terrible. You might need a character style for language purposes, to get through with hyphenation correctly, but this is a different thing.
To change a font globally go to search font and replace and redefine styles.
But if you really does not want to change the font you can crate a character style. And in your paragraph style go to GREP styles and select this chara style and write all glyphs and letters where you need this character style.
Take care, if you use a different font you might have to scale in advanced properties, so that a glyph from the other form fits to the rest of the text.

and on the Creative Download Page i found "Creative ALchemy .20.04". Also on my driver CD was an ALchemy X-FI Editon.
Whats the different between this versions and what the different to "Creative ALchemy .20.04" (all in one)
Maybee ALchemy for Audigy and ALchemy X-FI Editon are older version and now are only on version for all cards

Acouple of weeks/months ago, Creative announced that as of .20.04, all Audigy and X-Fi's would be supported by the one application.

I have a graph with one series in it. It produces
7 bars within that graph. I need the first 3 bars (from the left) to be
green, and the other 4 bars to be blue. All 7 bars are produced from
one query/data model.
This is in an RTF template within MS Word, for BI Publisher.
