  • Not receiving emails from specific sender

I have tried many times to receive emails from one sender, both automated and support ones, but none appear in my inbox. Is there any way that this sender can have been blocked without me doing anything?
(ps: I already checked "rules" under mail preferences, and there is none)

I have junk folder disabled, and I even created a rule now that is supposed to redirect any mails from the sender to my inbox, but still no luck
By the way, the sender I'm not receiving emails from is called Jagex, a games company.

  • Don't receive email from specific sender

We're not receiving emails from a specific address, not in regular mail, not as junk, etc. Sender says mail has been delivered successfully, but I don't receive anything from this specific sender.

Eversince installed Mountain Lion, i can't receive emails from my Microsoft Exchange account!!
Why is this so? I don't have this problem prior to installing the Mountain Lion OS X

Have you tried 10.8.1?  It includes fixes in this area.  Usually the problem is if Active Directory is returning incorrect Exchange information in response to an Autodiscover request.  In 10.8.1 you can manually edit this information.

  • TS3276 I don't receive email from specific senders. Any idea why?

I do not receive email from specific senders. I have to enter the name of a person I think might have sent me something under Search at the top right, in order to see if they have sent me email. Yet I receive email from most senders. Cannot explain this, finding it very frustrating.

    several possibilities:
It could be rule, as MrHoffman suggests
it could be that those senders have been flagged as junk mail by Mail.app on your machine
It could be that they are flagged as junk mail by your mail server

  • Unable to receive emails from specific domains

    Hi,
One user in our company is trying to send email in different domain but
recipient is unable to receive email from our side. Below mentioned is the NDR report:
    [email protected]
The recipient's e-mail system isn't accepting messages now. Please try resending this message later or contact the recipient directly.
The following organization rejected your message: smtp.xxx.net
Kindly guide me how i can diagnose that there is no problem at our side because all other users are sending emails in different domain without any problem.
    Thanks & Kind regards,

  • Cannot receive emails from specific addresses

I am not able to receive messages from a couple of specific senders, I can email them, they cannot respond or send a new email.
I am wondering if I accidentally bounced that email back as I have been having to bounce multiple spam lately and could have included an email from them. I tried to find a way to look at my bounced emails and cannot find - is there a way to look that up? And if so, can you reverse a bounce?
    IMAC G5   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    You can't reverse bounced message.
Since spammers don't provide a valid sending or return email address, using the bounce feature on spam is a complete waste of your time.
When used on spam, all you get is a return email error message indicating the bounced message was not deliverable.
Some spammers use a valid email address from their "known good" email address list to appear as the sending email address for their garbage. Using the bounce feature on such a spam message will work but you are not sending the bounced message back to the spammer - it is going to some unsuspecting person who is not aware their email address is being improperly used by a spammer.
Bouncing a message sent from a legitimate source will not prevent receiving messages from the sender in the future. The only thing a bounced message does is indicate to the sender that your email address is not valid so hopefully the sender will not attempt to send you more messages in the future.
I am not able to receive messages from a couple of specific senders,
I can email them, they cannot respond or send a new email.
What exactly does they cannot respond or send a new email to you mean?
Do these senders successfully send you a message but receive a return email error message indicating the message was not deliverable or something else?
If the former, what does the return email error message indicate?

  • Not receiving emails from specific address

I'm having problems receiving emails from a friend of mine. They can receive my emails from my btinternet.com account ok but all replies to me are never arriving. They can send ok to another of my email addresses. They do not even receive any kind of error notification. How do I resolve this please?

    cirbb wrote:
Thanks. I asked them to send the last reply to both my email addresses. I can see from the email that they are using the correct address so it can't be that. Their ISP is fasthosts. Maybe they've been blacklisted? How can I tell?
    Hi.
Do you have a gmail or hotmail account they can send to ?
Have you checked the spam folder, in case they have ended up there ?
If I may be as bold to say, Fasthosts are not exactly clean in removing spammers. I have reported many to them over the years, and they ignore everything. They don't even reply. I'm afraid it's been noticed :-

The report doesn't say that spamming in the UK is against the law.
Note that I am not saying this is the reason for any emails not being received, but there is a possibility.

  • Iphone not receving emails from specific sender

    Hi all,
not sure whether this is an iphone issue or email issue, but had to start somewhere.
I am using a mail.live (outlook) email account. I've notced that recently (since iOS update??) that I no longer receive emails on my iPhone from one particular sender.
If I log into same account via computer (PC or Mac) all the eamils from that sender are sitting in the inbox.
I still receive emails from other contacts that use the same email client server as the one that I'm having issues with.
    Any ideas?
    Cheers

  • Not receiving some emails from specific sender.

Hi.I just started getting the problem of not receiving some emails. I have not had this problem with the sender until yesterday.  My sender is sending me emails from gmail, some with attachments and some without, to my comcast email and it's not getting through. It is just one specific sender that I know of. I narrowed it down to my comcast account because I had the sender send myself the email to my comcast address and cc me on my gmail address. I received it on my gmail account but not my comcast account. I use Outlook for comcast but I even checked the webmail on comcast with nothing there. I checked the spam folder also and it's not there. Please help, these are important emails. Thank you.

Same issue, as far as I know it is just 1 person.  But I have no way of knowing.  I also had them CC my Gmail and it went through to Gmail but not my comcast.  I then had them use a secondary comcast email and it didn't go through.  Comcast seems to be blocking this person for some unexplained reason.  It's frustrating and so far has cost me $525 because they thought I was ignoring them.  They are using my Gmail until I get it straightened out, so the financial loss shouldn't increase, I just hope others aren't having the same problem and I don't know about it.

  • Not receiving email from particular sender

I don't know what is going on. Email from a particular sender isn't being received on AOL or iCloud accounts. I've checked the usual things, e.g. rules, spam filters, etc. User is in my address book, and things were fine until about a month ago. Has anyone else run into such a problem with Apple Mail?

Hi, thanks Linc. Not exactly sure what you mean by quit your mail client. But, I did log on to my webmail service as you suggested, through the Cox website, and the email I know the company sent me yesterday was not there. So, I guess it's some sort of block at some point during transmission. Is there any way I can access or control whose emails I receive? I know I can designate Junk to prevent receiving future emails, just wondering if there's a way I can unblock something that may have inadvertently gotten blocked? Very frustrating. Thanks.

  • I have lost an email. It has something to do with threads. I have not read the email and would like to get it back and continue receiving emails from the sender

Please excuse me if you have already received this query. I have lost an email which I clicked on quickly to see what it was about and intended coming back to read it later. It disappeared from my inbox and a caption related to the email appeared at the bottom of my subsequent emails. I have been unable to find the original email. Could you please advise if it is possible to retrieve it and if so how it may be done. Thank you
    sharon

    Hello Mogulman46,
So what that means is when you have Do Not Disturb turned on, you may have an alert depending on the setting and how you are using your iPhone. So if it is set to Always, then that means that no matter what, your iPhone will not be notified. If it set to Only while the iPhone is locked, then that means that you will not get notification when your iPhone is locked but you will get notifications if your iPhone is being used. Also keep in mind the settings All Calls From can be set to certain contacts like Favorites, Everyone or no one. If you are using Do Not Disturb and you do not need it, then turn it off.
Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • Mail Can't Receive Email from One ISP

Yesterday morning upon returning to work, my Mail app was unable to receive emails from three accounts that are tied to the same ISP. (Other email accounts not related to this ISP receive mail successfully.) But on these three accounts, the little wheel next to the account name just spins and spins.
When I ran Mail Connection Doctor, I got the following report:
"Could not connect to this POP server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the Account preferences.  Also verify that the server supports SSL. If it does not, deselect the "Use SSL" checkbox in the advanced tab of Account preferences."
My current settings have worked for years.
Now, when I flipped over to a different User Account on my Mac and recreated the mail account, I was able to successfully download my email.  That tells me that my connection to my ISP not being blocked by IT here at work.
I've tried rebuilding the account.  I've tried taking it offline and back online again.  No success. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

It's a risk if you're using POP3 mail. You can archive mailboxes to another location for safe keeping.
Or, just try adding new versions of the accounts without deleting the old ones (you can have duplicates, name them different so that you can tell them apart). If the new ones work, then you can just drag the mail folders from the old to the new and then delete the old.

  • I am not receiving emails from at least one person.

I am not receiving emails from at least one person.  The emails don't show up in my Junk mailbox and they do not get an email that there email did not go through.  Their address is in my mail recipients list.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  Is there somewhere else that email get's filtered?  If there is somewhere else, I'd like to fix it so that this users emails get sent through.  I'm very concerned that there could be other people that are trying to send me emails that are getting through that I may not even know about yet.  Thanks for any help that you can lend.

  • After upgrading to Yosemite, I don't receive email from Gmail users

Using a MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD internal hard drive.  OSX v10.10.2
My primary email address is an .mac/.me/.icloud email address.
Recently upgraded to Yosemite.  After doing so, I am having trouble receiving emails from Gmail users (I am not having trouble sending emails from my Gmail account, as many people have).
I asked 8 of my friends with Gmail email addresses to email me a test.  I received 4 of these emails immediately after they were sent, the other 4 email took anywhere from 4 to 48 hours for me to receive.
Anyone else have this problem, and if so, any solutions?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

There have been various posts about delayed Gmail e-mail delivery to iCloud e-mail addresses, but so far, no solutions. Gmail uses a nonstandard form of IMAP e-mails, which may be causing the problem.
