One website can't be accessed

I can't seem to access www.mybanner.gvsu.edu anymore. I came to firefox because I've already been having this problem with google chrome and internet explorer without tampering with settings. Now, I can't access the website with firefox either. The problem is not caused by a firewall or proxy. I get the error :
The connection was interrupted

Firefox/IE/Chrome can't access one website from several computers

There is one website I cannot get onto from several computers if I try using Firefox / Ie or Chrome. All computers can access the site using AOL browser (and we connect to the internet through a router and AOL is our ISP). I can also access it via iphone and I know that there is no problem with the actual site.
Actually we cannot access any site that we know of on that particular server - it is as though it has blocked access from our ip address but only when Firefox/Moxzilla or Chrome. But none of our computers have problems elsewhere on the internet it seems to be just that one (server/website).
This started suddenly this a few days ago and is driving me mad.
I have checked that Norton Firewall settings and all are allowed to access the internet and the ip address or sites aren't blocked.
Our settings on AOL/IE/Firefox for accessing the internet all say auto-detect proxy setting.
I have asked the owner of the server to check at their end that we aren't on a blocked list - we aren't.
I am not sure what to do next - any ideas welcome.

This is the first time I have used this forum and I did put in the web address actually - I don't know why it didn't show. It is www.chardswimming.org.uk.
I posted it in Firefox because that is the browser that I mostly use and normally find it to be great without problems - I am not necessarily saying it is a firefox problem and I actually thought someone would try and be helpful rather than try and pass the buck like people from other software companies would.

Can't access one website

There is one website which I can't access. Nothing odd about the site -- it's a client website that's full of photos I need to view & download.
I can access the website if I plug directly to my Comcast modem. It appears the AirPort (Extreme 802.11n) is being blocked by this website.
I don't seem to have this problem with any other websites.
How/what do I change on the AirPort so that this website will no block me?

The website is Portuguese. Here's what conspired:

This all happened so quickly, I was SO impressed!! I don't know how there could have been 15 FTP attempts... unless my browser was stuttering or re-trying repeatedly or something. I was blocked after the first attempt.

I can't access this one website, when I get page load error message, even when my cookies/cache are cleared?

For the past couple of days, I'm not able to access this one website: http://www.eboards4all.com/364378/. In the past, I've been able to access it fine, even on Safari, up until last Wednesday. Then I've been getting the page load error message on Firefox or page not loading message on Safari. I've asked others who use our forum via email about it--they're able to get to it fine. I believe, this all started, when I downgraded Firefox on my OS X, last week, by accident, and had to go to a lower 3. My Imac is 6 years old and I don't have money for the latest versions or the new one to come out last week.

Maybe use the portable Firefox version on a USB stick if you want to prevent access to your profile.<br />
Solutions that use an extension can easily be bypassed by starting in [[Safe mode]].<br />
Otherwise you need to locate the Firefox profile folder on an encrypted drive.

I used to manage 3 websites using both my imac and macbook, using dropbox, however I can no longer access them from my mac book.

I have been managing 3 websites using iWeb for the last several years, using both my iMac and Macbook. However for the last two weeks, I can no longer access these sites from my macbook. It appears "empty". When I first started seeing this, I took it to the Genius Bar in another city and he moved some library contents to my desktop - still didin't help.
I know iWeb is a thing of the past, but I can't stop right now and learn something new for about the next 4 weeks (in a sports team in the middle of a season)
. After that, I will have time to learn a new product.
Also, what is a suggestion for replacing iWeb? Sandvox? Rapid Weaver?

What do you mean when you say you "can no longer access these sites?" Does that mean you can't connect to those sites in your web browser, or that they aren't showing up in iWeb?
If the latter, note that your iWeb data is all entirely stored in a hidden file. In the Finder, choose Go -> Go To Folder and paste the following path into the window that opens:
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb
In that folder, you will find a single file, called Domain. That's got all the data for all your iWeb sites. If that file is missing, or if it has become corrupt, you will need to restore it from an earlier backup.
As for replacing iWeb, either Sandvox or RapidWeaver should work. Which works best will depend on your own tastes. Note that neither is capable of fully importing iWeb sites, as those sites will have a lot of content that is copyrighted by Apple. Flash has been used for more than just displaying videos. The Vote choice your daughter found is one of those flash type sites that will not display on iOS devices. There are now over 100 million iPads, and who knows how many more iPhones out there. Developers who want their content to display on all these devices will have to move away from the old Flash technology.
There were some version of Flash that ran on other brands of tablets. But Adobe has stopped all development of Flash for all mobile devices. As time goes on and mobile operating systems evolve the no Apple devices will lose their ability to run Flash too. Web developers need to move on to cleaner, more efficient types of programming.

The website can be accessed ok from another computer in the office. It happened about 3 days ago (I think after an auto update) and I hoped it would clear. I use win8.1. I tried one of the solutions and deleted Cert8db in the profile, but that did not help. I also re-set Nightly and it did not solve the problem.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Some firewalls monitor (secure) connections and may be causing problems with secure connections.

Suddenly I cannot access one website

All of a sudden I cannot access one website at www.countrywalkers.com from any of the three Macs on my network. Two of them are wireless and one is ethernet-cabled
I work for them so it would be helpful if I could do so. I e-mailed them and they have confirmed that other Mac users can access their website without any problem and that they have certainly not blocked me from accessing their website.
The connection to this website fails using Safari, Firefox and Netscape and Firefox and IE via VPC on my g5 iMac, Safari and Firefox on a G4 Powerbook and a G4 Tower.
I connect to the internet via a 3Com router which works perfectly except for this glitch.
I have changed nothing in my set-up and have been able to access this website uninterruptedly for about 10 years, until about two weeks ago.
I have used ping, lookup and traceroute in Network Utility to try and work out what is wrong. In the ping test, all the packets go missing. The lookup gives information which means nothing to me. The traceroute test shows asterisks at stages 2, 5 and 13 onwards, meaning I suppose that this is where the connection to the remote URL is faiiling.
What does this all mean and what can I do about it?
There seem to be a lot of posts on this issue, almost all of them unresolved, and hope that I have posted in the right place.
I do not have anything like PeerGuardian.

Have Multiple Sites. Now Only LAST Updated Website Can Be Accessed!

Using updated .Mac account and iWeb '08, I have started using a personal domain name with three subdomains, one for each of my websites.
PROBLEM. Only the last updated website works. The other two can't be accessed. Prior to using a personal domain name, this strategy worked fine
The new personal domain/subdomain names look like this:

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

Trouble to access one website (HTTP Status 500) and to find Apache Tomcat/6.0.20 logs

It is impossible for me to access one website only for a couple of days, the Yell.com UK phone directory. I asked them to help me with this trouble, but one of the technicians answered «I have had no problems in accessing Yell.com online here and neither have my colleagues. There may have been a temporary bug with the system, but all is fine now. If you are still experiencing problems, I would suggest that it is an issue with your system.»
It does not help because the trouble persists, whatever the solution I tried to find (clearing history and cache, bookmarking anew, changing slightly the URL). When trying to access to their website, it says:

Trouble accessing one website with wrt54gs v5

I have been having trouble accessing one website while the router is connected - when I disconnect the router it works fine. As far as I can tell, its just the one site. My router is out of warranty and can't get help from linksys. Please help.

You might look into parental control apps. One I see a lot is McGruff. Turn safari off in restrictions, see if the mcgruff browser can be locked to one site only and, since safari is off, the only browser they should be able to use is the mcgruff one.
I've never used it but you can explore it and other parental control ones and see if they will do what you want.
You'll also want to lock out installing and downloading apps and possibly other things in the restrictions.
