One WLAN multiple configuration

Hi all
I have a question concerning the configuration of the WLAN on controller WLC5509.
I have a few branches with connecting to HQ by MPLS.
In each location is seen the same WLAN Global_Wlan.
I would like, so that each of the connected clients to Global_Wlan in localization, IP address got from the DHCP server at the location.
Is it possible?
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
There is another alternative design, if you want to terminate branch traffic at branch switch (including DHCP as well). You have to configure your AP as FlexConnect at braches & enable "FlexConnect Local Switching" feature on WLAN.
Here is a good Ciscolive presentation on this design & see whether that helps

  • One WLAN, multiple domains

We have designed our network so that each site (22 sites with a total of 90+ aps)has its own wifi vlan. That means each has a unique DHCP scope.
Do we have to create 22 different wlans (which we know we can only do 16/wlc)? Obviously we would want to create one wlan that can pass through 22 different domains. Any suggestions?

    Hi,
The solution is to use the 'AP-Groups Vlan' feature (assuming you have an LWAPP infrastructure). The feature is also called 'site-specific vlans'. The purpose is to allow creation of a single WLAN and then bind it to multiple dynamic interfaces (i.e. vlans).
The following URL covers the feature and provides a sample configuration:

  • How can I copy a PSK from one WLAN Controller to another

I'm trying to replace a WLAN controller with a new one.  One WLAN is configured with WPA-PSK.  Nobody seems to know the key that was used.
Anyone know if there is a way to extract the encrypted key out of a controller and put it into the new WLAN Controller?
    Thanks in advance.

    No can do ...

However, if any users are on a MAC Book and has iCloud enabled you can see the key under the "keys". If you have a windows 7 box and uses the native supplicant you can expose the key on the supplicant ..

  • To print one photo multiple times on a single page

The title of my question is the title of the page in iPhoto 8 help.
"To print one photo multiple times on a single page"
It says (a bit shortened) 1. Select photo 2. Click print button 3. Select paper size 4. Select print size 5 Click Customize button 6 Click Settings button 7. Select "Multiple of same photo per page from the Photos Per Page pop-up menu. 8 Click OK 9 Click Print.
I can not find the pop-up menu referred to in Step 7. There are two "settings" buttons - neither produce a Photos Per Page pop-up menu. Settings appears if you click a double arrow to the right in the lower margin but only deals with font issues and "Print Settings" does not offer such a pop-up.
I am using Leopard on a PowerBook G4 and just bought and installed the newest iLife 8.
    Grateful for help.

    Arthur:
When you click on the Customize button there will be a Setting button in the next window. Click on it and in the drop down window that comes up will be the option to print multiple photos of the same photo per page.
Select that option and click OK. You'll get the spinning cursor for a few seconds as iPhoto creates the multiple copies on the page you selected. Be sure that the print size is small enough so that you can have multiple copies of it on the paper size you selected.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Implementation of one request, multiple responses bpel processes

Need info on how to build a one request, multiple responses bpel processes. The following URL discusses the link

Are two projects required? is one a partner link to the other?
There are several different types of links discussed but minimal/no discussion on their implementation.

But I can't really tell what effect it's having. Slightly worrying though. Any ideas?

Hello.  No, I have not touched any of the files in the project package.  I don't even know how to access them.  Any ideas?  What triggers this?

  • Printing One Address Multiple Times

    Hi All,
I am using the label format portion of Oracle Reports and I am trying to display/print one address multiple times based on the user's input. Is this possible? Any coding example would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help in advance.
    Michael James

You could pass this value as a parameter to the report and add a where clause to the report that limited the numbers returned based on this parameter. This is essentially what Kevin's doing in his example (the reference to :copies_required).
Incidentally, there's another way to do this without creating a new table of integers. You can get the same result by using the rownum pseudo column (as long as you have a table with at least as many rows as the number of times you want the address to repeat). You can then create one driving query:
    select rownum from table
    where rownum <= :number_of_copies
    and a detail query:
    select address from address_table
Link these queries with a group link and generate a default layout. Delete any columns in the 'rownum' repeating frame and run - you should get the address repeated the number of times specified in :number_of_copies.
    Hope this helps,
    Danny

  • Exporting error "Nothing can be exported until at least one setting is configured"

I imported a GPO Folder export into Microsoft Security Compliance Manager.
Then, I went to export it as SCCM DCM 2007 (.cab) so that I can prepare to import it into SCCM for Configuration Baseline data.
However, Compliance Manager throws me an error which I haven't run into on any other GPO's I've done the same process for.
Does anyone know what this mean and how I can fix this?
After import, I go to Export:
Save it as file name USGCB WIN7 User Settings_DCM.CAB
Immediately get this message, so it doesn't save after all:
    Microsoft Security Compliance Manager
Nothing can be exported until at least one setting is configured.
    OK
Does anyone know what needs to be configured? It seems to me the settings are configured? I haven't got this message until this one and I've done about 10 other exports with no issue.

Were you able to resolve this issue, I'm encountering the same exact issue (SCCM 2012 R2, SCM 3.0, trying to export a GPO, which was imported into SCM, in the hope of exporting it, to create a 'GPO baseline' in SCCM 2012).
    Regards TIA!

  • Why does my iphone only send one picture multiple times when i select multiple photos to send?

why does my iphone send one picture multiple times when i select multiple photos to send (via message or email)?

Are you sending via Camera itself?
That is, selecting a picture, then select forward link symbol from bottom left
    then select another picture,
Each time make sure you see the blue check mark at bottom right of each selected picture.
The number of " # Photos Selected" should be displayed at the top.
Then select Mail or Message and transmit.

  • Multiple Configurations

How do you create multiple configurations for an AX or AE? After creating different configs, how do you swap between them? I use my AX at home for streaming AirTunes, but I want to use it when I travel to other locations (parents' house for example) to create a wireless network. They have an iMac w/ airport card, but are currently using an ethernet connection to their modem. I want to be able to plug the modem into the AX and use my Macbook wirelessly and at the same time allow them to access the internet w/ the iMac using AirPort instead of ethernet. When I return home I want to go back to using my AirTunes config.

I carry an airport express with me as I travel, and I
end up resetting the configuration fairly regularly.
Is there any way that I can save a configuration
(for example, for my home) so that I don't need to
manually type everything in when I am in a place for
    the second time?
Applications > Utilities > Airport Admin Utility
    Scan and Select your Airport
    Click Configure
Enter the Airport base station password
    From the menu
    Base Station > Profiles...

  • One Planning server configured with different BI server

    Hello Everyone,
I have a Planning server configured with BI workspace (Hyperion 9.3.1). There are 5 Planning applications already running smoothly.
Can I have another BI server pointing to the same Planning server? Now I want one more Planning application on the same Planning server but different BI server.
If its possible, won't it affect the other applications already present in the Planning server?
Is it possible. Your prompt response would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi All,
Thank you very much for the response....Had not been keeping well, so was unable to follow the forum....
The fact is the current BI server is on 9.3.1 and Planning server is also on 9.3.1, in which I have 5 apps that are running smoothly....
I have one more instance of Hyperion Planning application which is on version 3.5.1 and I need to upgrade it to 9.3.1. It would have been a smooth process if I would have just migrated it in the current set up. But we have a constraint here. The BI server is loaded and hence I can't have one more application configured on it. And also the apps belong to different departments. So they want a distinct BI server for this one single app.
So, I have been asked to use a different BI server for workspace and reporting needs, and the existing Planning server(which is 9.3.1) for the Planning application.
Kindly suggest me what should be my approach.
    Thanks
