One-year subscription does not entitle for Photoshop CS6 Extended
I downloaded from Adobe Application Manager Photoshop CS6 and, subsequently, managed to activate a 1-year subscription.
Then I downloaded Edge Animate, Creative Cloud Connection and Touch App Plugins, but when I opened Photoshop the 3D capabilities were not present.
I think my Mac is fully entitled to manage 3D workflows since I got it in 2012, so I cannot understand why this feature is missing.
I run OS X 10.8.2.
Can somebody help me? Is there something I need to know in order to activate this functionality?

one of my Macbook Pro came with 384MB built in, same graphics
when i replaced one of the 2GB OEM ram cards with an 8GB card, my video ram shot up to 512MB http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple/memory/
point is you may want to add some ram (or ask around) if more ram will give you higher 3d & GPU compatibility with Photoshop

No, installing Photoshop alone would do, that would also install Bridge on your computer. But you do have to download the whole-suite download to install Photoshop from it. The individual Photoshop download will never accept your suite serial number.
Incidentally, the "suite" concept is a fabrication of Adobe marketing and bean-counting types. The engineering teams are totally independent of each other, they are not only in different buildings but in different cities and states of the American Union, even in different countries.
The fact that they have little if any communication among them is highlighted by requests occasionally made in these forums by top Adobe engineers to let the other teams know when there are problems in one application that impact our workflow in another one. -
My subscription does not expire for another 6 months. Why am I being asked to upgrade ??? If Adobe systems are down, maybe you should redirect us to a page informing us.

I've got a student version of the creative cloud through my college, which for the life of me, i cannot understand why all my friends never have issues but I always do.
So I renewed my one year subscription that my college pays for in november. It's april and last week it told me i needed to renew but let me use the products anyway. Today I open it and it says you need to renew. I go to check my dates and that and see if i can get another subscription but adobe tells me I still have a subscription that hasn't expired yet and I can't get a new one until it does. I tried to take the redemption code and use it again but it won't let me because it's already been used.
It's not my college's problem because they don't deal with anything other than paying the subscription every year, just like a customer. They don't have access to my records or any of that, and therefore can't help me. So what the hell Adobe? Why can't I use my product that hasn't expired?

Bought Photoshop cs6 extended through an employee purchasing program at work, it arrived today but did not include a serial number required to install it.
No number sequence shows on the box, sleeve or packing list that is large enough to be the serial number. Please tell me I didn't get screwed.Lost information

When you then remove the trial and reinstall from the Adobe Application Manager with your trial Creative Cloud you only see the Standard version?
If this is so you can try reviewing your installation logs by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html. Although your 30 day trial has already begun. I would recommend for now you just remove the installation and install from the trial page so that you can try the extended features. -
No local help files for Photoshop CS6 extended
Hi
I wish to use local help files for Photoshop CS6 but only online support is available. Local files are not listed under the Adobe Help preferences. The option to search only local rather than online help is greyed out. I found and downloaded a PDF with of the help files but don't know where to install it or if this is possible. I have CS 5 Creative Suite and this works fine giving the option of local or online help when accessed.
Is there a way to install and use local help files in photoshop CS6?

The help system has always operated oddly - I have Photoshop cs6 but also the cs5 master suite installed. CS5 works fine but Photoshop cs6 only gives the option for online help and then directs me to the CC site. There is no simple listing for just Photoshop help in the help menu - presumably as it is not seeing it installed
I tried various configurations in the article, having to set up the folders they suggested. In my case, in a variety of alternative places as I have a boot up volume with the documents folder moved onto a RAID array so the Shared folder is not in the documents folder but in Users on the boot drive. So - confusing - but tried all the likely candidates and folder configurations/locations while following the instructions as closely as possible. Even tried an documents folder alias to redirect the program to the alternative path way.
At least now I have the PDFs and can look through them outside the adobe interface. The problem with the community site being questions regarding photoshop alone, yield answers for all sort of other issues and programs.

Indeed, you have maybe read, "Windows vista is unsupported".
That means that you will not get customer support, or bug fixes for that version. BUT, good news, Nothing prevents you to install Photoshop cs6 on Vista.

3D does not work in Photoshop CS6 on my Dell i7 laptop

Problems with 3D objects. PS freezes every time I create a 3D object and try to come out of 3D mode or save the file.
TRIED:
Updating driver for ATI Mobility Radeon HD560V display adapter
AMD website auto-suggested and installed HD 4650 (?) driver.
That made PS work a bit better, but other stuff started freezing (Chrome, Bridge)
Went to Dell site and reinstalled HD 560V. Had to uninstall and reinstall Catalyst Control Centre.

I have a huge problem with my new photos hope cs6, it doesn`t have a Color replacement tool button, I mean this

In addition I searched category under brush tools but it doesn`t exist
Just I have color replacement in
Image > Adjustment> Replace color
Is it the same with that toolHi,
the color-replacement tool is still there in CS6, "under" the brush-tool in the toolbar of photoshop-CS6.
Reveal it by alt-click on the brush...
did I understand your question right?
If you want a tool-preset of the color-replacement like the other tool-presets in your screenshot,
you choose the tool first and then you can make a new preset for your special color-replacement-tool,
including size of your point etc...
