"It started malfunctioning so I uninstalled it".
That may have been necessary, may not have.
"I tried to reinstall and there is persistent error in installing.  What is the problem?"
No clue.. you've not provided us any details.
    "How can I solve this?"
Search these forums or google for the error occurring or post the error so that others can help you.

  • What happens if I delete CalDAV in iCal? I'm getting a persistent error message

What happens if I delete CalDAV in iCal? I'm getting a persistent error message that says something like the server doesn't recognize my account or username, or some such thing.
Background: This all started after I (a) decided to try a free trial of MobileMe and then (b) decided against buying it.
At first it was saying it didn't recognize my .me account or something, and then I went and played around with changing the user name and password, but it still doesn't like that, so my instinct is to delete the entire CalDAV account.....but I don't know what the account IS, exactly. In other words, if I delete the CalDAV account, will my calendars disappear entirely? Or is all this nonsense just related to my nonexistent MobileMe account? In other words, if this is something that had to do with MobileMe, but I cancelled MobileMe and don't care about it, can I just delete it and go on with my life?
Thanks! The error messages are torture.

If you don't have a MobileMe account then iCal has nothing to connect to, and you should remove any accounts from iCal Preferences>Accounts.
I assume that given this you can't have any calendars listed under an @me.com account name: all your calendars should be listed either under 'On My Mac' or under no heading (other than any subscribed calendars).
if you do have any calendars listed under an @me.com account name you should move them back to 'On My Mac' before deleting the account. the process is explained in the second set of numbered instructions on this page:

My iPod is to desactiver and I do not arrive has to restore him(it) has cause of a persistent error ( 3194 ), somebody can use PLEASE??

From this Apple support document: iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an "error 3194." If you receive this alert, update to the latest version of iTunes. Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect.  For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the headingBlocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart. Also, using an older or modified .ipsw file can cause this issue. Try moving the current .ipsw file, or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.
Error 3194: Resolve error 3194 by updating to the latest version of iTunes. "This device is not eligible for the requested build" in the updater logs confirms this is the root of the issue. For more Error 3194 steps see: This device is not eligible for the requested build above.

  • Itunes persistent error -42032

New itunes (10.1.0.56) does not work with Windows XP. Authorizing of computer or purchasing/downloading apps cause "Unknown error occurred (-42032)".
According to other blogs, this error persists for several weeks, with no reaction from Apple. Have you any solutions available?
    Cyril

I have this error since Monday Jan 24th. It was all OK till Friday before.
FYI I have update my iTunes to last version 10.1.1.4 about 2 weeks ago and I have iPhone with iOS4.2.1 since it was releasted.
So, something has to changed last weekend on iTunes Store, because everything was OK for me before.
Anyway here is a trick which works for me:
    1) Close iTunes
    2) Open cmd line and write there: ipconfig /flushdns and press enter
    3) Open iTunes and ... it works
I can purchase new apps and also I can download new apps updates.
I did not try Sync yet, so I will see...

Do you have access to another wifi hotspot (don't forget to keep the phone connected to a charger).
Otherwise browse this forum on how to install with an autoloader.

    Hi XuanWei,
Please share us more details for better analyzation:
    1. Check the event viewer and see if any errors logged, if yes, share it here.
    2. Could you please explain a bit for what the desktop version OneDrive app you have installed?
Based on what I know, OneDrive desktop app functionality is built into Windows 8.1. If you install the desktop app on a PC running Windows 8.1, Setup won't appear. For more information, please see:
OneDrive desktop app for Windows: FAQ
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows-8/onedrive-app-faq
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
    1. Run the OneDrive troubleshooter.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows-8/onedrive-troubleshooter
    2. Run the command sfc /scannow as dubsdj - MCITP mentioned.
To receive better support about OneDrive, we could seek help in OneDrive forum.

  • IOS 4.3.5 update failed (persistent error 1602) - Apple's Support steps don't work

    Hi guys,
So I seem to be having very bad luck with my iPod Touch, 4th Gen. What happened this time is pretty much what happened when I tried to update to 4.3.4, as described in this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3179905
So I got an error 1602 this time, I followed all the steps you find in the apple support page (ie, unninstalling and reinstalling everything in a particular order), only to have my iPod bricked once again. The computer doesn't recognize it at all, iTunes doesn't either. Entering DFU mode does nothing.
Last time, the solution was to connect my iPod to a friend's computer, and it restored it, then it worked again on my computer. But I'm not willing to keep asking that friend to use her computer just to restore my iPod after every iOS update, that's just unreasonable.
I'm hoping someone can help me find the better solution this time, so here are my logs:

  • Persistent error message when trying to load a VOD show

For the past few weeks, I keep getting an error message whenever I try to watch anything on VOD. The message says try again later but after repeated attempts it ususally doesn't work. Although, on one or two occasions I finally got the program to load and play.  I've called the technical assitance number and after about 20 minutes answering questions to a machine I finally gor a human on the phone who had me reset the STB and then said it was a technical error on their side and nothing they could do and no ETA on when it would be fixed. This seems to happen a lot on weekend nights so I dont know if its a capacity issue but it's very fustrating especially when I'm paying for premium channels but can only watch them in real time.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any advice?

    Hello,
    Follow-up questions:
Is the VOD error message usually showing just on one set top box or all set top boxes in your household?
If it's happening to all STBs, then either there is a temporary network outage in your area or you lost connectivity to the router.
If it's always the same set top box that has the VOD error message, what model STB is it?
When this happens again you can try:
a soft reset of router by unplugging the router for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.  Then try seeing if VOD works at that point,
rebooting the STB via the FiOS TV remote:  Menu -- Customer Support -- In Home Agent -- Reboot STB.
going to this link (and selecting Troubleshoot Now) for further steps:  http://www22.verizon.com/support/residential/tv/fiostv/guide/video+on+demand/questionsone/123196.htm
If all else fails and you still have the VOD message, you can try contacting Verizon's Technical Support via livechat at www.verizon.com/contactus or by calling 1-888-553-1555.
By the way, you can also download and stream Flex View videos on demand via your computer online or your mobile device. You can start watching the movie on your computer and then resume later or play from start (within 48 hours of renting the movie) on the TV.   This is for those pesky times (*sigh* unavoidable) when VOD does not work on the TV and you really want to watch that movie.
For more information about Flex View, you can go to: https://www22.verizon.com/OnDemand/unprotected/ondemandhome.aspx
    or www.verizon.com/flexview
    Hope this helps!

  • Persistant Errors 4001 and 4010

I am just about at the end of my tether with iTunes Match.  I have managed to get some 14500 of my songs sorted (although it did take me almost a week) but for the last few days I keep getting these 4001/4010 errors and never get as far as stage 3 (on rare occasions when I do, only one file out of 1000+ uploads).  I know it's a lot of songs but I'm sure it's by no means the largest library people have tried to get on this Match thing.  I've tried all of the solutions people have posted without success (including uninstall/reinstall, even turning off my virus propection/firewall which I am always reluctant to do) and it is now really getting my back up because I want to be able to access my music via iPhone when away from home.  What the stuff is going on with Apple?  There seem to be more people with Match problems than without!  Anyone with a solution?  Please, before I slit my wrists!

Seadragon01 - I'm having the same problem.  I've been subscribed since around March with no problems, and this weekend out of the blue iTunes Match gave me an "unable to connect to iTunes Store" error and then proceded to upload 8 random songs to the cloud that had already been matched months ago.  Then from that point, I cannot update iTunes Match at all without receiving that same error after about 3 minutes of loading.
Also worth noting, my iOS devices are working fine with iTunes Match.  So all the songs that had been in the cloud since before this weekend are still accessible.  But if I were to load a CD onto my computer right now in hopes of pushing it to the cloud, I would be out of luck.
I'll also state that I have changed NOTHING on either my computer or network that would have sparked this problem.

  • Persistent Error During Download message

I realize this issue has been posted multiple times in the past, but we've been experiencing it consistently for the past several days. I've checked the DPS status site and also scoured the Forums to see if anyone else recently posted something.
Using the ACV, and when trying to download updates to a folio, we continually receive the error message: Error During Download, Please resume your download later." Getting this error message on iPads running iOS 5, 6 and 7. Updating content within the folio producer works fine, as does previewing a local version.
We've tried signing out and signing back in, deleting the ACV and reinstalling, nothing works.
We're of course under a deadline and unable to have remote staff proof a final version of our folio.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

We recently completed an AWS migration which has resulted in a number of intermittent outages and download issues. These outages haven't affected folios published to the Folio Producer Service—just the acrobat.com folios used for testing and sharing. Please bear with us while we resolve these issues.
As noted, the workaround for downloading content is to publish a folio as Free and Private. However, this workaround doesn't work for shared folios.
We'll provide more details when we have them. Check the status page (http://status.adobedps.com/) for additional details and updates.

  • Unable to install update 3.2.1 and persisting errors in version 3.2

    Hi All,
As many Aperture users I face issues with the Crop-tool in Aperture version 3.2
Accordingly, I was delight to see that Apple quickly released the 3.2.1 update to resolve these issues but ….
When downloading the update via the Update Software feature on my MacBook Air (Late 2010), I obtained a message that the an error occurred and the package could not be installed due to missing info. I was advised to perform another attempt next time I run the automated Software Update.  After 8 attempts, I still have the same result.
Accordingly I downloaded the software package directly from the Apple support website (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1463) but when trying to install the dmg-file, I obtained an new error indicating “invalid checksum”.
Does anybody (with or without a MacBook Air) has experience with this?
Is there another website where I would be able to get a valid version of the Aperture 3.2.1 update?
Any other steps that I might consider to solve the issue?
Thanks for your feedback in advance,
    Meubi

    Hi Frank,
Just to let you know the rest of my queste to get Aperture 3.2.1 running on my MacBook Air !!!
    1. First installed a virus/malware scanner via the Mac App Store but that didn't detect anything (Lukely, is a Mac after all isn't it ;-) but ...  also still not possible to install Aperture 3.2.1
    2. Downloaded another dmg file (from some small freeware tool) to check whether there were corrupted parts in the installer feature in the OS. So, I was able to install another dmg ... but still no Aperture 3.2.1
    3. Verify and/or Repair Hard Drive with Disk Utility didn't do much either
    4. Downloaded the same Aperture 3.2.1 dmg on my (wife's) iMac and there I was able to install version 3.2.1 without any trouble.
... after some frustrating weekend  ...
    5. I copied the mounted Aperture 3.2.1 drive to an USB stick and run the installation from that USB stick on my MacBook Air .....and .... TADAAAA !!! ... Aperture 3.2.1 is now also running on my MBA
Don't ask me why it worked this time but it did!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips, it was really appreciated!
    Take care,
    Meubi

  • Persistent error when attempting to download OS X Mavericks

I am attempting to download OS X Mavericks from the Mac Dev Center. After I click "Get Download Code", I get the following error:
What am I doing wrong? I clicked the equivalent button for OS X Mountain Lion and it worked without any issues. I attempted this both from Safari on my OS X 10.10.2 machine and from Firefox on my Ubuntu machine. Neither of them worked.

If you never downloaded Mavericks in the past, then you cannot download it now. If you had installed Mavericks before, then you can re-download it from the Purchases page in the App Store. Otherwise, you are stuck with Yosemite.

  • Persistent ERROR, please HELP?  :)

    Hello Everyone..
If someone would please write me directly, I will send a
screen capture of the error message. I just cannot get around it.
Thought reinstalling the CD on a different hard drive, brand new in
a sense, would solve the problem, but it has not.
I can't believe the CD woud be corrupted as a fresh install
    didn't work, either...on a different drive.
please write me at [email protected] Thank you SO much
if you write and can help.
    Carolyn

Because, Sir, it's a long string of characters and stuff and
if I type something wrong, then the one who helps won't have
    accurate information.
I am trying to save my individual htm pages within DW to the
folder I keep them in for uploading to whatever servers.
REPEATEDLY, and I cannot get rid of it, the error thing comes up, a
    mile long...
While executing receiveArguements in File_SaveAs.htm, the
following JavaScript error (s) occured. At line 20 blah blah

    That is part of it.
