Online album

I have sent pictures to my "online album" from my phone but verizon.com says there are no pictures in my gallery. How do i get to them??

Thanks for the additional information Camille703!  I want you to be able to successfully store and view your pictures on our Online Album.
Keep in mind, when logging into your My Verizon account, ensure you are logging in under the mobile number you are transferring the pictures from.  Let's try managing your media following these steps: http://vz.to/IH70xR.  Let me know if you're able to view your pictures on the website after completing these steps.

  • App to Sync Camera Roll Photos to Online Album (Facebook, Google, other?)

I was looking for an application that uploads or syncs my iPhone 4's camera roll to an online album with the least amount of effort possible. This could be either an iPhone app or a program for my Windows Vista computer, whatever gets me an album that is continuously updated as I shoot photos. I am using mostly Facebook albums, Google photos/Picasa, and a Blogspot/Blogger blog, but I can and will use whatever service that works with this desired app of mine.
(by "continuously," I don't mean exactly live, but rather an app that does this synchronization or uploading whenever I open up the app or whenever I have wi-fi, or whenever I sync with my computer, or anything at all that doesn't require too much effort on my part. I just don't want to have to manually copy and paste photos from my iPhone to my computer then upload them individually to my online albums every time I take new photos)
Does anyone know of an app like this?

I don't really upload pics directly myself, but there's a lot of space between automatic upload and individual upload through the computer. I should think you'd be able to get the effort level down to "Open app--select Upload--select a bunch of pics--click OK" without a huge problem.
The Flickr app seems to want you to upload one by one, but here's some other apps to check out--I find this site easier to use than iTunes:

  • Photoshop elements 7-online album

having very diffcult time sending online albums-following instructions to the letter but the album never sends to the recipient-anyone having same problem or have an answer would be welcome

    Hi glholmg,
Can you please provide the steps elucidating the issue that you faced.
    Thanks.

  • Online Albums Issues with PSE7

Does PSE7 offer a way to save online albums directly to my hard drive instead of just uploading them to Photoshop.com or to another website via FTP? Unlike PSE6, PSE7 doesn't seem to offer that option (at least, I couldn't find it)
And can anyone tell me what happened to all the standard, medium thumbnail online album templates (for example, black background with matrix of thumbnails on left with single large image on right)? PSE6 offered them, but PSE7 doesn't.
Must I purchase a Photoshop.com PLUS membership ($50) to get these templates (which came free with PSE6)? If so, how often are new templates delivered. The website just says "you'll get new templates delivered to your software on a regular basis?" Does that mean daily? weekly? monthly? semi-annually??
I really appreciate any help you all can give me!

    Exactly!
PSE7 doesn't seem to be an upgrade at all
it seems to offer FEWER features than PSE6
with never-ending plugs for photoshop.com plus membership
I plan to downgrade to PSE6 to get the template I want
and to be able to save my projects directly to my hard drive

  • Having trouble getting my online albums saved onto my hardrive . . .

I am a new user for the Photoshop Elements 8 and I have also just recently purchased a new computer and a new camera.  All these new things are not making for very easy time for me!  I did manage to get all of my pictures onto the PE8 but when I first created my free account (which I thought was going to act as the backup) it actually stored my pics into online albums.  I have tried to move/copy the albums to my harddrive but everytime I try to copy them to a file that I created in "My Pictures", PE8 tells me that it is an unacceptable place to send the album.  So, I guess the best question that I can ask is:  how do I disable the online albums so that when I organize my albums in PE8, they are stored somewhere on my computer rather than online??  Or, how do I move the albums from online to my harddrive??  (When I did try to move it from online to the harddrive, I did use the export to harddrive option and it would look like it was working until it told me that it was an unacceptable destination . . . what is an "acceptable destination"?)
Any suggestions for the newby would be greatly appreciate:)
    Thanks . . . Kari

    Hi Kari :
Based on your post i woul like to answer three major questions here that i think might help you use PSE 8 more efficiently :
    1. How is using backup/sync to maintain online albums useful and where are the files downloaded from online account stored ?
The sync agent checks for changes made to your catalog files and albums at regular intervals and updates your online accordingly. So this Sync provides you with an additional resource to recover your files in case you were to lose them from your desktop accidently. In this case the 'Check Online' option of Reconnect comes handy. Choosing this will search for the missing files in your Photoshop.com account and recover the missing files. By default the downloaded files from online account are stored in the My pictures folder under a sub folder named Photoshop-com. You can see the exact location where the downloaded files are kept from : Edit>Preferences>Backup Synchronization. In this dialog box you can look for the folder for downloaded files.
    2. How do I move my albums to hard drive ?
Albums is a feature of PSE 8 . So you can see the basic hierarchy and contents of an album using PSE. However if you want to store your albums on your hard disk :  You can right click the album, select export to hard disk and store it by a particular name on a desired location. This saves the album as a playable slideshow to you disk. You can play this by using the index.html that shows in the new album folder created.
    3. How do I stop Backup/sync ?
Open the Backup/Sync dialog box : Goto Edit>Preferences>Backup/Sync uncheck backup/sync is on.
But it is always recommended to use Backup/sync to safeguard your files as told in (1). You can always choose to backup only selected albums from the backup/sync dialog box.

  • Stacked Pictures show in online album

How do I keep the stacked (hidden) pictures from showing in an online album?
    Using PSE 10.

fingers crossed, it appears they are working the bugs out of this update....i was able to post a pic to my newsfeeds/time line this morning....first the picture went into the ios album but within a minute, it appeared on my timeline! im glad ...

  • Online album photo orientation incorrectly converts all pictures to landscape

My online photoshop album photos are always converted to lanscape, despite the pictures having the correct orientation in the album on PSE v7.0 before they are uploaded. This is frustrating when viewing the slide show as a lot of pics are on their side, can onyone help please, thankyou

Well, that one's a know issue in using Online Albums.
In the desktop software, we use the EXIF Orientation Flag to know if the image should be rotated when displayed. I.E. The real image isn't properly rotated, but we just present it properly rotated in the Organizer, and in the local version of the Online Album.
When it gets sent up to Photoshop.com for sharing, since the original image isn't really rotated, and Photoshop.com isn't currently honoring the EXIF Orientation Flag, the image isn't rotated during it's presentation, and thus is show improperly.
Fixing this problem is indeed on the list of things to fix for PS.com.
    In the meantime....
For any photo that is showing up as improperly rotated at Photoshop.com, simply open that photo in PSE with the Editor. Rotate it. Rotate it back. Save it over the original. Wait for the next Backup/Sync cycle to happen and the copy at PS.com will be replaced with the properly rotated version.
    Hope that helps.
    Bob

  • Online albums

How do I delete an online album from My gallery in Photoshop.com ?

Okay, I looked at the latest revision of the Centro User Guide for Sprint. Here's the initial explanation from page 192:
Your Sprint Picture Mail account includes an online album on the Sprint Picture Mail Web site. You can use your online album to store and view pictures from your device or from a computer with Internet access.
After that there are a couple pages about how to upload pictures and view them on your device. Look as though you can go to http://www.sprint.com/picturemail to manage them on your PC.

  • PSE 9 - how to export online album to web?

Hi everyone - I know all the PSE versions from PSE5 on, but version 9 is driving me nuts :-) Most recently I'm struggling with the online albums - where did the option to publish it to a FTP server go? When clicking "share" I only see "Photoshop Showcase", "hard disc" and "CD/DVD" - but none of them is working. An error window tells me that a component is missing and I should try to re-install - which I did repeatedly, but the error continues...
Thanx in advance for any ideas... Gabi from Germany

    Hi, 99jon - I don't see a "other" option, only this:
Whatever I choose, this error follows:
Roughly translated: "An error occured while loading this album template. A help file could be missing or corrupted. Re-install the program to solve the problem". Unfortunatly re-installing does not solve the problem :-(
    Greetings from Germany - Gabi

  • Photoshop Elements 9 online album templates

After upgrading to Elements 9, I discovered that the wonderful online album templates I used with Element 4 are not available. I'm building a large number of online albums for my extended family website and now have fewer attractive templates for these online albums. I would have preferred to have the templates from PSE 4.
Is it possible to load the PSE 4 templates into PSE 9?
The only acceptable template I've found in PSE 9 is "Sliding" and I would like to modify it slightly (I'd like to add the photo filenames since family members can find the filename and download the original scanned photo if they wish). However, I don't know the file locations for this template; there is nothing for example that I can find like "Sliding.psd" or like-named xml files.
Any pointers anyone could provide would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tom

Unfortunately, the current templates are all flash templates, not HTML templates like the old ones, so your best bet is to stick with PSE 4 for those. You can modify the current templates if you know how to code in flash, but otherwise, no, sorry.
Edit: you might also want to check out the free JAlbum program and see if there's anything there that appeals to you.

  • Where is my online album?

i recently got a lg cosmos II. I clicked all the pictures that i want and told my phone to send it to the online album. The question i have is where online is this album, i have no clue where to find where it is sending all these pictures?

Go to http://vzwpix.com and log in to Manage my Albums (right hand side of the page).

  • Cost to Send Image from Phone to Online Album

I was under the impression that it was supposed to be free to send photos I took with the camera on my cell phone to the online album.
So why was the bill about a $100 this month? I can't afford that. How am I supposed to get the photos off of my LG VX5500 for free?
I'm only a part of a family plan but with things like they are now I won't be going with verizon when I can get my own plan.

    hi Elistariel -
With no texting plan, it is 25 cents per picture message. The LG VX5500 (same phone my daughter has) does not use a memory card, so you can try two different programs on your computer (both free) and see if either one will get the pics off and saved on your computer; from there you can upload to your online album without a per picture charge.
You can try Verizon's VCast media manager - download and install it on your computer, then use the USB cable to link the phone to the computer and transfer the pics with VCast.
    Here's a link
A third party program called BitPim will also work, but it's more technical and does a lot more than just transfer your media. It can also brick your phone if you don't know what you are doing, so it's "use at your own risk", as Verizon won't cover any losses due to using BitPim. It does work though--I have used it, very cautiously!

  • Alias 2 - Uploading pics to Online Album en-masse?

    Hi--
Have been looking for a way to upload my pics/videos to the online album all at once, as I am probably going to get a new phone soon.  Is there a way to actually do this?  From everything I've read, it seems that pictures/videos need to be sent individually, but was wondering if anyone had a solution.
    Thanks!

You can send a picture message and/or text update to Facebook in one of three different ways - I've experimented with all three:
I sent the first to 32665, and I put different text in the Subject and text fields of the message. Both showed up in the caption, Subject text as one line, Text as the second line.
I sent the second to [email protected] - same results.
I sent the third to my personalized [email protected] - same results.
On my FB page, they showed up as one post, 3 photos. (I sent them within seconds of each other, so I suppose that's why they all showed up together.)
It looks like they all work, so use whichever is easiest for you! I have all three listed under my Facebook contact, but it doesn't seem to matter which is used, they all produced the same results.
So for pictures, you would send an MMS text to one of the three addresses....

  • PSE 11: Create online-album without music?

When creating a slide-show in PSE 11 I can choose a certain soundfile or deny to include music. But when I create an online-album I don't find the checkbox for music to un-check it. Thanks for any advices.

Thank you for your answer, Brian.
But finally I found out that different templates offer different settings. In in the dropdown-menu of categories I choose "classical" and the take the template with the three girls in the preview (third from left). Activating this template by a doublle click generates a preview of my album. When it is ready, guitarmusic starts at once. In the down left corner of the album I see a musical note. Clicking on it can switch the music on or off.
Moving the mouse on the main screen of the album shows  a small line of symbols at the bottom with arrows left/right, a symbol for start and for settings (tool symbol) and one for the settings for the change of pictures.
After clicking on the symbol for settings there are options for automatically start or repeat and so on, but there is no option for deactivating music at all.
In the other templates there is absolute no music at all. But they are all too silly or foolish for my intention.
    The result is this:
    http://www.marktkirche.de/template/index/webalbum/Orgelabbau/index.html
Visitors have to  deactivate music by clicking on the musical note in the left corner, which is not very userfriendly.
    Still any ideas left?
    Thanks in advance, Thomas

  • Online album questions

I've been starting to use online albums.  I've posted two albums on my Adobe space for selected family to view.  I guess I expected that these folks would go to my xxxxx.photoshop.com and be asked to sign in with their email address for verification if they have permission to view these albums.  What happens instead is they get an email for each of the albums giving them an URL to visit.  Once they get to the site, they can view that album with no problem, but for those that I have given permission for more than one album, they can only view the one album designated in the email.  For another album (same permission), they need to start with the email they received for that one, and they can only view that album at that time.  Is this correct?  Am I missing something?
Second - it would be great if I was asked if I wanted an email to be sent.  I included myself in my email list just to see how many I got and there were 12 in a couple of days just on two albums.  These can get annoying.  Every little change prompted a new email.  Just would like the option of not sending when I make minor changes, which I do a lot.
I too, would like to see a basic grid of pictures for my folks to view.  I realize there is a option once they get to the site to view in a grid, but the slideshow effect isn't necessary for my viewers.  I saw that on another post.
I'm posting old family photos from different branches of our family and it's been a wonderful tool for sharing with family across the country!  I would love to post smaller and more albums, but won't be easy for people to understand they have to go in 40 different times from 40 different emails rather than signing in once to see those albums I've given them access to.  For now I'll have to post my 4 of 5 300-image albums for them to sort through.  If I'm understanding this wrong, please let me know.
    Carlinpics

    Thanks Bob --
I'll give it consideration wether to go public or not.  Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, who would be interested in my old photos anyway, other than family.  I'm leaning toward "no",just because I don't trust putting personal information "out there", but then I do now understand that each Album can be viewed ONLY through that email's link.  I was hoping I just didn't know about a nifty trick.  Maybe if I "Frend" everyone in my family, but I doubt that will work either.
I've been collecting as many photos from my family all over the US and trying to put family photos together back 6 generations.  So far, I've been lucky enough to collect 1,600 photos.  Very exciting for my family, too.  PSE is a great way to keep these photos, tagging everyone's names and sharing the information.  I was creating slide shows and mailing CDs until I ran across this photoshop.com sharing option.  I'll still use online albums, but knowing this makes a difference on how I plan to organize my Albums.  I could see making albums for different branches of the family (making many more smaller albums), but that would be too many emails for folks to shuffle and would end up being confusing for them.
I use PSE for everthing....I even have 9,000 recipes in one catalog.  Easy to retrieve with ingredients tagged.
Please keep in mind as PSE goes forward that I'm not the only one who wants this feature...
    Thanks for answering!
