Hello friends,
Need some suggestions. I developed on Online ATM system. JSP Beans and Apache, thats it !!
I exhaust all my idea in making the system secure. Like backbutton disbled, 3 times password, NULLing all value after use, session expire.
Can someone please suggest me some more ideas !!
If any one need code then I can share, but the DB is in Oracle 8i and I had create on my system, I dont have that.

Thanks StephanieG, the online team sent me an email that the website billing system had experienced issues over a few days but should be now working. They did suggest using the automated telephone system, however this wasn't working either at the time I tried.
I have since just reinstated DD billing which has paid my outstanding and setup the DD for next month, so i haven't actually tried using either the online or the telephone billing system since; therefore I couldn't tell you if it is working for me yet.

How do I register as a developer in the Online Source System?

Im trying to add an ABAP program to SAP BW, and I get this message:
You are not registered as a developer.
Please register in the Online Source System (OSS).
In the OSS you will receive an access key.
I have no idea what this means. How do access the OSS and do this? I have done various searches on SAP's site and I've not found anything useful.
Is there any shortcut I can use to get this access key and proceed with work? I'm on a tight deadline?

Building an online inventory system using Oracle fusion

I am developing an online inventory system which is my college project and I don't know where to start
But I have collected materials and learned some about the inventory but I don't have knowledge about jsp/jsf or simply j2ee much. And I saw videos of the jDeveloper, Oracle ADF and many good stuffs
So can anyone guide through it, just a little
I am not asking to build the project. I just wanted some opening, where to start
And i have built a database in oracle .
And gone through some tutorials provided such as "Building Fusion Web Applications" available on cue cards.
I have understood the framework a little but i don't know where to start
Build UI or Business Components or else or a login page .
I have login details set to the database but i don't know how to implement in ADF Security.

I have gone through the referred documents and also done an example about the ADF Security from Cue Cards.
But i want to know something about the Security about the adding Users.
How can we add, drop and edit users from within the Fusion application or a web application, as for now as in the example we create the users and roles by using the jDeveloper.
To be clear, like in any other webpages like in a mailing websites or any other.
As in my program, i want the function to add, edit and remove users through the application.
I also had written similar comment in Shay's blog and he directed some good thing but I couldn't get to the point.
Is there any example or tutorials for this ?

In Flex, it would be possible only if you'd find a way to read your local file system with a server-side script and pass the read data to Flex where you can rebuild the exact structure and do something with it ( not sure what ). As for AIR, you have a FileSystemDataGrid that does exactly what you are looking for ( just that it's "AIR only" ).

By online, do you mean backup to the cloud, where you pay a monthly fee for the service to host your data?
If this is the case, then there are a lot of services (do not know them all, but DropBox, CrashPlan, Carbonite, Mozy, SugarSync, come to mine, and that is not a complete list.
There are also services that allow you to backup over your home network or across the internet to your own storage. CrashPlan has this option (for free), and Transporter come to mind. CrashPlan talks to another computer also running CrashPlan that you own or have some control (could even be a friend or relatives computer). Transporter is hardware that you either provide some storage of your choice, or they will sell the unit with storage.
I'm mostly a CrashPlan to my own storage user. I backup to a Mac mini for my Mom (300 miles away) and Wife (she is local )

Apple pay is great feature introduced with the new iphone's. But for 5s users who are not gonna upgrade this year, apple is a requirement. Sure they can use it via apple watch. But apple pay with the online payment system can be used via the touch id, i feel.. Apple should make a note of this and enable it for users.

Probably not, as the 5s doesn't have NFC capability.

Does anyone know a good and free online help system for Java webapps, I've tried Oracle Help for the Web and it's nice, except that it won't run on WebSphere v5.1 (which is a requirement).

Basically it's like this. WebHelp is nothing more than a collection of HTML pages that each contain different "Topics". This means that each page has a unique URL which may be used to view it. Normally, WebHelp is presented with the surrounding frameset (also known as the Skin) and the Topic is shown in the Topic pane of the Frameset.
What Jeff has shown is what you might get if you just link to the URL of the topic. I say *MIGHT* because whether you see the "Show" link is configurable and you can generate WebHelp where it's not factored in.
So you have many options of linking to your help. You can link to a single topic where only that topic appears. You can link to the WebHelp generically and the end user finds their own way to the information they are looking for. You can link to a Bookmarked location inside a topic either on its own or within the frameset. And if you are using the WebHelp API, you can specify your own Window that will be used. Otherwise, your developer can create the window using their own means.

Anything specific you're looking for? If not, I'd start with thinking about the architecture of the whole thing, and just get an idea of HOW you want to start going about this project. Think about the different layers and how you want them to interact with each other. Sun has some good tutorials for web applications (http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.1/tutorial/doc/index.html); what you learn from there could easily be applied to an online reservation system.
If you run into specific problems, these forums are a great place to post code and get advice.

It sounds like a DNS issue.
If you perform a lookup on that address "websmp105.sap-ag.de" do you get a reply?
I would try both the machine and the SAP server and verify both are resolving it correctly.
For example, I return a 96.16.87.187 with multiple aliases but nothing for iwdfvm2302.wdf.sap.corp.
If it cannot resolve that address, you would get a message that it is unknown. You may only have to update the host file with the correct info.

Creating an online help system from FM files

I have been tasked with converting a 340 page user manual in
FrameMaker into RoboHelp in order to create an online help system.
I have imported all the FM files into RoboHelp. Each Project
file is a chapter from the FM user manual and each topic is a
subchapter.
Many of the images crossed over successfully. However, many
came across blurry and others didn't come across at all, instead
appearing as a small red box.
I have been unable to figure out how to get the images that
did not come across into RoboHelp.
After compiling and viewing the primary layout - it looks
pretty good (at least to me). The font and styles in RoboHelp are
the same that were in FM.
I am VERY new to RoboHelp and have learned FM primarily
through trial and error with some outside instruction.
I need help in getting the images into RoboHelp and some
advice on whether or not I am on the right track with my online
help system.

Online reservation systems

I've just had a client ask about this on their website (its a small, family run aromatherapy / massage business, so nothing huge). In their words, it doesn't sound too difficult to do...
I suspect an online reserervation system, with live feedback about what dates / times are available might be reasonably tricky to set up. I'm pretty familiar with PHP / mySQL / phpMyAdmin type environment, but would never describe myself as fluent in mySQL or PHP!
I assume that this sort of thing may be availabel as an off the shelf solution that can be plugged into a website - if so, does anyone know of anything they might recommend? (I know I could google, but its often difficult to tell which are worth exploring further, compared ot recommendations you might get from here.)

Creating an online booking system

What started off as a simple website for a coffee shop has turned into a web design project to rival Holiday Inn's Room Booking system.
First off, I am a complete newbie, the website for the coffee shop is being built using Muse, and my clients are happy to host with Business Catalyst. Last week they spring on me that they are also offering alaternative therapies with two treaments rooms on site. They now require a booking system for 6+ different therapists using 2 therapy rooms.
The client needs an online diary, which all the therapists can remotely view (from their homes or other treatment sites) so they can check availability of the rooms at the coffee shop and book where appropriate. None of the therapists are on site all the time, they will only be on the premises when they have a booking.
The simplest system I can envisage is customers email the therapists requesting a call back through the website, then the therapists go to the online calendar and book liasing with the customer themselves.
The client is currently using Google Docs, it is unclear what is actually wrong with this system? they say it's because people are using different devices!!! I need to clarify this.
Thrid party appointment booking software is expensive, a cheaper option would be to use BC and use the WebCommerce package, BUT depsite me trial testing it, I still cant see how it works. I need a simple interface, literally a VISUAL online slot booking system where the therapist can see a block on the calendar filled in. (I cannot be sure how IT savvy these therapists are!) it needs to be simple. Can this feature be created using BC? If so how?
Perosnally I don't see what is wrong with a book, pencil and telephone.

I am working on an Online Flight Booking System. The preferred technology is Java, ADF, JSF etc. I am familiar
with JDeveloper, however I would like to know if tutorials/videos on similar systems are available. Many commercial
airlines have professional booking systems that use a train stop control to show the current process step.
Also interesting to know would be how the template pages are created that populate the data dynamically from the
db. etc.
Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
