Online discounts vs. instore price

I know when we first came to Verizon about 8 years ago, the policy was that if you mentioned an online discount at the store they were able to honor that price instore. Is this still the case? We are eligible for our NE2 tomorrow and if I do the online deal we won't get our phones intime for the "smartphones talk free" promotion.

if i input discount (header and item level in configuration) in header level, the net price will be deduced as discount involve. Is it possible the item net price not change even discount had input in header level. thanks

No its not posible if standred discount condition type is designed in such a way that i will reduce that much amount for ur net price
In u change condition catagorey for discount and surcharege in condition type then ur issue will be solved

Absolute value discount in Special Prices

I have a customer that has special prices with a value discount, not a percentage one.
I thought about adding a UDF to the Special Prices table and do a formatted search against it, but later I found that I cannot add an UDF to the Special Prices table...
All the discount functionality in SBO is percentage based...how should I implement an absolute value discount?
Any ideas will be much appreciated...

Pricing : Discount on basic price and excise duty

Hi gurus,
I want to give a discount based on sum of basic price and excise duty. But Excise duty is captured only in tax.
In this case how to give the discount based on the sum of basic price and excise duty since excise duty is not in the pricing procedure.

What happened to the instant online discount

I have been considering upgrading to the Fascinate. Usually there is an instant discount online, but today I notice that on all the android smartphones with the exception of the Ally, you must submit a mail in rebate. The mail in rebates have usually been reserved for the B&M stores. Is this now going to be the case we must submit a mail in rebate?This takes all the advantages of purchasing online away....

Ouch! You are right, and I totally agree - the advantage of buying online was the instant rebate applied to the cost of the phone upfront. And I don't like the mail in rebates either...from forgetting to do it (yes, I have done this!!) to not getting the rebate because it wasn't submitted properly, waiting 6 weeks, it's just so much better to take the "rebate" up front off the cost of the phone. Now they are taking that option away.

Increase from Student Discount to Full Price

Up until March 3rd, 2015, I was paying the student discount rate of 4.99/month. However, in April I started receiving charges of the full price. I am still a student and have been since I opened the account. I just realized the charges today and would like a refund and preferably not a subscription extension as I've seen in other posts.

Hey unfortunately, no. But, if you register again, the discount will be applied on the next renewal date, which is in your subscription status. You'll then get that discount for the full 12 months again.

Renwed card, lost student discount, charged full price

Subject says it all, it has charged me 9.99 rather than 4.99 which the price should be, I'd like the £5 that was taken wrongfully back, and back on to my standard student subscription.

Bought the Galaxy S4 at Full Price, But Not Eligible for the $50.00 Rebate Card. Sound Fair?

Recently bought the Galaxy S4 for the full retail price and afterward come to find out the rebate offer of $50.00 is only good for subsidized phone purchases. How is this fair when I paid full freight? The offer should have been for either type purchase.
What gives, Verizon? Only care about getting those 2 year contracts extended???

I just looked, the rebate is clearly posted for 2 yr contracts only.
If you switch the screen to Month to Month the rebate is gone.
But even on the two year contract screen this is shown.
Full Retail Price $649.99
2-Year Contract $249.99
Online Discount -$50.00
PRICE with 2-Year contract $199.99
You are not going to be able to keep your unlimited data (if that is why you purchased at full price) if you receive any discount.

Tried to upgrade my phone online using Loyalty Discount - Online sales Rep no help

I tried to upgrade my phone online to take advantage of the online discount and also use a loyalty discount. The price of the phone is correct until it I get to checkout, the loyalty discount is then removed and only the online discount is applied. I IM the online sales rep, but the person was of no help, telling me that all discounts had been applied. After about 15 to 20 minutes of trying to explain that the loyaly discount was being removed at checkout, I just gave up and cancelled the order.
I later tried it again, only to have the same problem and the same result from the online sales rep.
What good is a loyaly discount if you can't use it?
I am not sure if this is by design or if there is a glitch in the site, but the sales rep could not see my loyalty discount on my account and could not explain why this was happening.
Do I need to go to a store to take advantage of the loyalty discount?

It may depend on the type of store you go to. Corporate stores are different from third-party retailers (who often carry cell products other than Verizon as well). I would say call the specific store you plan to go to and ask before you go.

Unable to price match Shadow of Morder including GCU discount

Well I think was Sunday I called in try to get Shadow of Mordor price matched at currently weekly ad price of $49.99. As the purchase was made with the GCU, the phone rep had no clue what GCU was and did not know that the GCU discount stacks with price matches on Best Buy prices. Anyways a note was sent to the Price match department and I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours which has past by a few days already.
I just wanted to get this down in writing now before sale ends. GCU being a new program seems be unheard of by many employees. I hope word spreads out to all customer reps, so these issues could be solved more easily. I know this isn't going to happen anytime soon, as not employes do not know everything about the company they work. Even the company I work for I don't know everything when someone asks me a question.

We recently communicated a detailed overview of the Gamers' Club Unlocked program and its benefits to our retail stores and support teams, so it's disheartening to learn that customers may still be experiencing difficulties obtaining price adjustments when we lower our sale price on qualifying items. Table containing contract price net of discounts

Hi SRM gurus,
I understand that when a contract is created, the field for net price contains the manually entered price for the item. However, if I include other pricing conditions such as discounts, the net price field is not updated. If I check the contract details in transaction BBP_PD, the field BBP_PDIGP-PRICE contains the manually entered price (not the one net of discounts). Is there any table that shows the final net price?

Thanks for the reply..........we'll ur right.....but how to avoid this....tried checking "Pricing" FM,various other combinations in V/06 configuration,tried bypassing it by using custom Form routine(under Pricing with VOFM)..........all my trails goes in vain.
The moment when i revert back the newly introduced condition table everything works fine,this is giving me a nightmare.....Help would be surely appreciated.Just to remaind u again the contract price should not change,even if ur trying to copy the packages of the contract into normal order using copying contracts reference through Memo Pad in DBM.
