Online documentation Indesing SDK Plugin

Hi
I would like to know if there is any documentation online.
I would like to know methods name and all arguments and explanation about that.
I have the indesing sdk with the doc folder with some pdfs, but it is not easy to find what you want with it.
are there a website or pdf with the full documentation of every methods, class, etc?
I am developing plugins for adobe indesign CS6.

What exactly do you need to know? JSP is just a bridge between HTML and Java. All you need to know is, yes, HTML and Java.

Link to online documentation doesn't work

Hi,
just a hint for the people at Sun: access to the online documentation http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/prod/comp.app#hic doesn't work
any more. Searching for single documents still works, but the entry point isn't accessible.
I'm trying to access the site from Germany, may be it's a regional problem.

You can, with care, use Windows API calls in a plug-in. But you have to understand the process of loading resources. In particular, the calls you use try to load resources that belong to the main executable, which is Acrobat.exe. Plug-ins have their own instance handle, which is conveniently stored in gHINSTANCE.
In certain cases, especially modeless dialogs, there may be extra calls to make things work properly.
You do need to know how to use the Windows API, and your sample lines seem confused, unless you intended to first display a modal dialog then open the same dialog as modeless. That's something for another forum,

Using student guides to walk through an implementation vs. using online documentation

Hello,
I am a student, my experience in the field is limited, but I personally feel that the student guides are far easier to understand and grasp than many pieces of online documentation located on Cisco's website. But now there is a trend not to create student PDFs for student guides. So I wanted to get some feedback as to how people feel about this issue.
My feeling is that you can't use physical books in the field to implement projects its just too inconvenient to carry all those books and they are not searchable. Also the online resources on Cisco's website don't read anything like the student guides. The student guides tend to group similar information together and they tend to highlight information with a power point feel to them. They also tend to be written in a more easy to read manner.
But again if you don't have a digital copy however well its written doesn't really matter because you won't be using it.

Re your interest in purchasing the student guides that go with Cisco training courses, especially for specialist exams: You are right, they are not currently available for purchase separately from the training, however, we have forwarded your request to the Cisco learning people. No promises at this point, but we will check in periodically with them. Seems like a good idea.

Where is the online documentation of SQL keywords?

Hi. I'm trying to use an Oracle database and am suffering from a severe lack of documentation on Oracle's version of SQL. Is there any online documentation that would tell me, for example, how to properly use SQL functions like:
DECODE
GREATEST
PERCENT_RANK
NULLFN
Can someone point me in the right direction?

However, the documentation is for 8i and I am using 9i. Does anyone know if there is more up-to-date documentation? (Maybe nothing has changed significantly betweent the two versions in terms of SQL functionality....)

"Online documentation" customer specific guideline during data entry inHFM

I am looking for solutions:
A customer wants to set up something like an "online documentation", meaning when entering data on an account in HFM they want to “jump” into the
Descriptions, Booking examples of their accounting guideline which should be stored as document or a kind of online text.
Currently they are having a .pdf (their IFRS Guideline) in workspace, but they want to make it more interactive for their users like e.g. a online docu
or jumping in a document directly to a specific position of their guideline.
Do you have experiences from the field on how other customers have solved this?

The master record of a customer account cannot be archived immediately. The system first has to check whether the following requirements have been met:
The account must not contain any transaction figures in the system. Transaction figures from previous years that have not been archived will also prevent the system from deleting the account master record.
The account must be marked for deletion in its master record.
You should block an account for posting before you mark it for deletion. The only effect this deletion flag has is to cause a warning to be issued every time you subsequently try to post to this account.
You can delete the test data before going live with your system

Trying to load SAP online documentation to SAP GUI

Hi -
I'm trying to load the SAP online documentation to the front end. I've put the "htmlhelp\helpdata\en" directory and sub-directories on our server. I've then go in and execute SR13 and have entered the following for the HTMLHELPFILE tab:
Variant : HTML Help
Platform: WN32
AREA: IWBTRAIN
Path:
zeus\public\documents
Language: EN
Default: <checked>
But, when I go to the help dropdown and choose SAP Library I get the following:
No documentation available
Message no. SH720
Diagnosis
Online documentation is not currently available.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Update your Flash from Adobe's website. If that doesn't work, tell the webmaster they aren't using a portable version of Flash that is as compatible with as many browsers as possible.

Which user is supposed to install the online documentation?

I am trying to install the online documentation (post install step of solution manager). I am logged in as sap* and have run transaction SR13, but after entering in the values for variant, platform, area, path and language, I try to save the data, but SAP Gui tells me that "No changes for user SAP* allowed" "Changes cannot be made, display user only". (Message no. TR026)
Is there another user that I should be using for this?

Error trying to import com.crystaldecisions.sdk.plugin.admin.cmsadmin

I'm having trouble importing the com.crystaldecisions.sdk.plugin.admin.cmsadmin package. I've copied all the jar files from the BO lib folder and most of my functionality is working. Is there a separate jar file I need?
Basically I'm trying to get at auditing/usage information through the SDK without purchasing the auditor component.

Installing SAP online documentation and integrating with SAP.

I am trying to integrate SAP library with CRM server.
I have followed the steps mentioned in the Online documentation CD ( Read me and online
documentation PDF fils).
I am trying to install HTMTHelp library.
I have followed the following steps :
1. Copy the directory Htmlhelp\Helpdata\<language key> with all its subdirectories
     from the DVD to the documentation directory on the server.
Later defined the setup variants.
1 . T.code SR13
2 . select the HtmlHelpFile tab page.
Switched to the change mode and entered the following details :
Variant = saphelp
platform = windowsNT
Area     = IWBHELP
Path      = c:\sapdcoument\HTMLHelp
Language = EN
Defaul = enable
I have saved the changes and it asked me to create the change request.
i have made these changes in the client 000 ***
When i click on the Help -> Application help or SAP library under the help menu
it is giving me the error " No Documentation available ".
Could some one help me with this.

You do not mention which version of CC&B you are using. If you are using a version v1.n.n then use workflow. If you are using v2 then you may wish to look at Case processing. The online documentation is very comprehensive for workflow. If you are processing market messaging then look at "The big Picture of XML Integration" to cover the receiving and sending of market messages. Understand the concept of staging tables particularly the staging control table, upload staging and Notification Upload staging (NUS) tables for inbound messages and Notification download staging table for outbound messages. For batch jobs for workflow look at WFPRINIT and WFET. There is a section in the online documentation for "background processes". It will also give you info on scheduling as well. The CC&B online doco is extremely good, you just have to invest time in reading it. It often take some effort to get the whole picture but it is all there.

Create a Push Button in application toolbar, check the function code in USER-COMMAND event.
There u write code to call function module DSYS_SHOW_FOR_F1HELP..
Pass DOKCLASS = RE
        DOKLANGU = sy-langu
        DOKNAME = 'Module pool name'
        SHORT_TEXT = 'X'.
It will populate the documentation window.

What do you mean by online documentation?
If you are expecting the same as the "I" (Info button) appearing in Transaction SE38.
Then what you can do is to goto "Documentation" section for your program, and write the required text there.
Fill in the required sections "title", "purpose" etc. and active the documentation.
Whenver you run the Tcode associated with the program, the Info button will appear on the selection screen.
