ONLINE NUMBER EXPIRED - CREDIT CARD DEBITED

My online number xxx-xxxx expired beginning September 2012 but my credit card was debited with 9.99 EURO for the 400 minutes. I have not renewed this number as I do not require it any longer. Could you, thus, return payment back to my credit card with immediate effect. Please acknowledge receipt of this email and confirm reversal of payment. Thanks

You have 90 days to reclaim your number after that it goes back into the pool of numbers.

    I've used Skype a long time. In the past, you weren't able to add and remove payments easily, if at all. For some reason, and this has happened a few times over the years, and again this month, the subscription will default to an expired credit card even though there is a current card on file on the account. Then I get spammed with tons of payment refusal errors, my number expired, and so has my subscriptions. Totally unacceptable. I was able to remove this old card from the account, so now there is only one card. But something tells me devs needs to get this addressed, especially if more than one card is on the account and serves different purposes. Everyone better check.

    I know that you can use two credit cards to pay an item but the problem is that i can only put the billing address of just one of the credit cards, and since the two cards are from different people (my parents) i can't do it. They live in the same place so i don't know if i should just put one of the billing address.

  • Re-authorizing an expired credit card authorization

    Hi,
    I am trying to find out whether re-authorising an expired credit card authorisation taken at the point of an order being placed will duplicate the amount ring fenced on the customers card. The documentation I have seen suggests that the funds are released and a re-auth will not duplicate the amount. We have the scenario where the customers using CC are bad payers therefore at the point the web order is taken we would like to ring fence the money unfortunately the requested delivery date could 3 weeks away and VISA auths generally last for 7 days before expiring.
    Any experience or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

    You can maintain the authorisation validity periods in the customising to keep the authorisation for longer than 7 days (SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Payment Cards -> Authorization and Settlement -> Specify Authorization Validity Periods) but I think you might be referring to how long VISA will keep the authorisation for.
    Perhaps your clearing house could provide you with more details on this.
    Bear in mind that even if you request an authorisation in the sales order in 3 weeks time you can stop the delivery from being created if no valid credit card authorisation has been received. If no authorisation is received from the clearing house no goods will be delivered to the customer so there should be no problem.

  • Updating expired credit card

    i got an email from Skype saying I had to update an expired credit card to continue auto pay on Skype credit. First, can you confirm this is legit?
    I signed into my account and followed instructions (not very clear ones) to update expiration date. When I got to the last step, which said that the credit card company had to okay this transaction, and I clicked on next, I got "you cannot access this page" for one of two reasons. What gives? How do I resolve this?

    Go into iTunes on computer and double check all info is correct, including address and security code. Log out and back into account on Apple TV.

  • Won't let me update soon-to-expire credit card inf...

    I am in a vicious cycle in trying to renew my 12-mos online number subscription.  The site notifies me that my credit card is about to expire and that i need to update my credit card because it is about to expire.  Except it won't let me update my credit card uness/until i cancel my subscription, which I'm afraid will mean I lose my online number, which I've had for more than 3 years....help!

    I was having the same problem. The billing page just sucks as it does not let one delete an old invalid credit card without adding credit to the account. So why pay $14 for extra credit if one does not need it or use. I figure its nice working capital for Skype.
    I got constant emails that my Skype number is about to expire, "but don't worry it said". Well I worried and I should have worried even more, because when I let it expire, to find out if I could re-activate it by using a new credit card number, it still did not let me delete the old one or use a new one. So I used PayPal and found out that all of a sudden my yearly number wasn't $35 any longer, it went up to $70. And no way to get a refund it seems. So why did it go up to double the amount. I have no idea. When I re-activated the number I got two automated emails: We've Delivered Your Order & Your Subscript. has been successfully cancelled
    I didn't cancel any subscription, but now all of a sudden I was reminded that I should have a Canada/USA call subscription as well, which did/does not show anywhere. So was this automatically cancelled earlier because the payments were refused with the old card?
    Mystery to me why Skype Billing functions in such a nincompoop way that this mess can happen.
    In any way, I will not renew my Skype number next year, unless I get my $35 back.
    For all I care I just use Skype-to-Skype in the future and look for a number elsewhere.

  • Be warned - expired credit cards being charged by ...

    My account got hacked today and a couple of calls were made to Gambia this morning, so Skype suspended my account.  I went through the rigmarole of getting it started again with a new password.  I decided to remove my auto recharge, so went to the relevant page and noticed that there were no payment methods set up.  However, Skype had auto recharged my current valid credit card as recently as Feb 2012.
    It turns out that Skype have 3 cards on my account, ALL of which have expired, however, the CC number on one is still the same as my current card, so they are still charging that card.
    So, they are charging a card they they record as being expired. As they show NO credit cards on my account, I cannot even remove them.
    Just disabling the auto recharge is no good as it will not delete those hidden cards and presumably if someone hacked the account again they could just re-enable it and hey presto...
    The only way to get those deleted is for support to delete them, which support told me was just a couple of mouse clicks to do.
    Be warned.

    Unfortunately the advice I received is to make sure my account is fully updated with the latest software.
    That is not satisfactory advice, unfortunately.
    This problem had not occured until after I recently downloaded the newest Skype update. The problem with a hacked account didn't start until I after I downloaded the newest Skype update. Furthermore, I don't know if the problem is fixed, when it will be fixed, or how I know it will be fixed because there was no reasonable solution offered.
    Meanwhile, to prevent further charges from collecting I was forced to cancel my credit card and it will take some time before I receive a replacement in the mail. I have only one credit card, and with the holidays coming this is a problem for me when I attempt to purchase things. 
    At this time I want to know what Skype is going to do formally to make sure the problem is fixed; telling me download the latest version is not acceptable, as that was the root issue. 
    Once the problem is formally fixed I want to know when I will be told, and how. 
    What will be done for the loss of money and the complications that I had to endure in the meantime because of the lack of security in the Skype business? 
    Finally, I need to know what to do from here, other than the suggestion to download new software. In other words; do I cancel Skype completely; do I only need to create a new password for my account, or do I need to create a new account altogether? What specifically is the correct solution to prevent this in the future? It cannot be new software; that was already taken care of.

    After we successfully loaded credit card transactions (data listed in PRCCD), we found some records linked to the wrong personnel number. Is there a way to replace the personnel number?

    PS: Deleting the records and loading it again is not a feasible way due to the complexity of the file sent from the bank.

    In general, if the transactions are loaded to wrong personnel number, you should be able to view them in PRCCE
    As per my knowledge, there is no process of moving the correctly loaded transactions to PRCCE.
    If the Credit Card Expenses are to be reimbursed to Credit Card Company
    let the expenses be tagged to wrong personnel no.
    The possible way to reflect the expenses to correct employee can be done from accounting side, by posting an adjustment entry to the correct perosnel number/correct cost centre.
