After 12 manth I forget to pay? and number expired.
I put this number to my contacts/business card. I need the SAME online number.
Is it free? How can I get it back?

Transfer expired skype online number

Hi , my skype online number will expires at the end of this month and I want to transfer/assign the number into another skype account.
From what I understood here, its not possible to transfer online number from one account to another and I will have to wait until it expires then I can buy it again using my other skype account.
My question is : Should I wait until the online number subscription expires then buy it again through my other Skype account or is there away around this situation ?
And how can I buy it again using my other Skype account without waiting for 90 days after the number expire/deactivate which is the period of time needed for the number to go back again to the available Skype online numbers pool .

you cannot transfer a Skype Number from one account to another . . . period
when the number expires it is held for you for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate it -- if an when you reactivate it during this period it will still be associated with the original Skype Name
if the 90 days expires before you reactivate the number, then the number will be made available to ANYONE that happens to choose it (and that almost certainly WON'T be you)

Online Numbers have expiration dates, which can be seen in the Skype programs, apps, and by logging into your account on the Skype web site (use the "Account" link at the top of this page). Unlike the subscriptions for calling phones, Online Numbers don't appear to renew automatically. You can have a subscription that renews automatically, which sounds like what happened to you. The only way you can get that number back is if it is shown as available when attempting to purchase a number. You'd have to select the country, state/province, and city/area code. Then you can attempt to search for the number you previously had. It is possible that the number has been reassigned, or is not available for some other reason, if it has been more than 90 days since it expired.

Here are the answers to your questions:
1. You can forward Online Number calls to your mobile:

2. Callers pay local rates if Online Number is local to them. Online Number acts like a regular landline number and people calling this number will get charged the same way as they would call regular landline in that area/country. Keep in mind that for call forwarding to your mobile number you will be charged. It would be the same if you call your mobile from your Skype account.
3. If you forward calls to your mobile number, then you don't need Skype on your phone.
4. You should be able to see who is calling. Skype should forward caller ID as well if it is enabled by caller. As you know not everybody has their caller ID visible when making calls.

There are some subtle differences, related to how local phone calls are billed for callers in New York City. I have found some rather cryptic material that shows which prefixes in each of the New York City area codes are in each of those zones. The zones are defined by lists of prefixes within each of those area codes, and those lists can be substantial with the growth in mobile phones over the years.

Need to change my online number

I have recently purchased an online number based in London prefix numbers.
However, this number has been proven to be an ex-scam number appearred in all anti-scam sites all over the Internet. I accept several calls a day addressing the previous owner. This is very annoying. I need to change the number with another one. How can it be done???

Online Number Need Clarification

Okay, normally if someone calls me off their cell phone, they are charged minutes by their carrier.
So, I'm going to Guam, I have a Skype Online Number, they call my number, do I get charged?
Do they get charged?
If it's from United States cell phone (them calling me) to my Skype Online Number, which is also from the United States, what is the charge?
I was thinking and let me know if I'm wrong...The only charge would be to their carrier (like Sprint) where they lose minutes off their cell phone, is that correct? Or is there a charge for them or me, to call my Skype Online Number?

Well - not quite! Our Skype Online # is a regular landline # and the caller pays whatever his/her carrier charges to call a landline #.
It's nothing to do with "minutes" (That's cellphone terminology).
An Online # only works on land - not anywhere else.
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, that is what I meant when I said "the caller foots the bill - be it airtime minute or whatever.". I am guessing my "whatever" and your "whatever" are the same. However, I did not make a distinction of whether it was considered as a "mobile" or "fixedlinephone/landline" connection. In the US, this does not make much of a difference, but yes, in countries like India (and others where skype offers Online-numbers), it does.
Secondly, I can confirm and have proof that the Skype-in numbers work above land, yes they do . Skype has no way of telling my altitude. All skype needs is that I am "reachable" through the Internet. I am connected to my Skype Peer Network and can communicate using TCP/UDP.

I need to change the country and online number

I bought this online number yesterday, and just figured out that I shouldn't have set the country as the US. I desperately need to change the country. If not, there is no use for using this online number, and I'll have to cancel it.

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

An Online Number would cost US$ 18/3 months, US$ 60/year, or - if you first purchase a subscription for calling telephones - US$ 30/year. You can get an Online Number in Washington state.
To cover your calling to telephones, you can use Skype Credit or purchase a subscription. If you only need to call telephones in the USA (landlines and mobiles), the Unlimited USA (or Unlimited USA & Canada) subscription at US$ 2.99/month is a good way to go. The Unlimited World subscription would also cover calling to landlines and mobiles in the USA, but take a look at the list of countries and types of phones in those other countries first. For most countries, the Unlimited World subscription only covers calling to landline phones - not mobiles. But if you are only concerned with calling phones in the USA, go with the US-specific subscription.
Another suggestion... set up your Skype account and make those purchases while you are in the US, or somewhere outside of China. Then you are dealing directly with Skype, instead of having to go through Skype's Chinese partner. That will probably work better for you in the long run.

My online number xxx-xxxx expired beginning September 2012 but my credit card was debited with 9.99 EURO for the 400 minutes. I have not renewed this number as I do not require it any longer.
