Online number goes straight to voicemail
I've been having an ongoing problem for months now where incoming calls don't ring through and instead go straight to email. People who call say it doesn't even ring on their end, it just goes to voicemail. I know at these times I'm connected to the internet and Skype is up and running (often I'll be waiting for their call). I've even tested it before with my cellphone, calling my own number to make sure I'm online and signed in, and it will go straight to voicemail. It doesn't always do this, however. Some days it seems that every call rings through just fine and other days no one can get in touch me. Is there anyway to fix this problem?
Thank you for any help anyone can offer.

Check the Privacy settings in your Skype program. Make sure you allow calls from anyone on the Online Numbers.

As the earlier message said, I've been trying to reset my security questions. Should be easy, but every time I've called Apple support, their call goes straight to voicemail, saying I appeared to have missed them. No idea why it's doing this, and I kind of have to call from a cell, don't have a home phone. Any online alternatives? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Alternatives for Help Resetting Security Questions and/or Rescue Mail
1. If you have a valid rescue email address, then use this procedure:
Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions.
2. Fill out and submit this form. Select the topic, Account Security. You must
have a Rescue Email to use this option.
3. This is the only option if you do not already have a valid Rescue Email.
These are telephone numbers for contacting Apple Support in your country.
Apple ID- Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. Select
the appropriate country and call. Ask to speak to the Account Security Team.
4. Account security issues almost always require you to speak directly to an
Apple representative to securely establish your identity as the account holder.
You can set it up so that Apple calls you, either immediately or at a time
convenient to you.
1. Go to www.apple.com/support.
2. Choose Contact Support and click Contact Us.
3. Choose Other Apple ID Topics and choose the appropriate topic for
your issue.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Note: If you have already forgotten your security questions, then you cannot
set up a rescue email address in order to reset them. You must set up
the rescue email address beforehand.

Iphone 6 8.1 goes straight to voicemail unless i call that person first
iphone 6 8.1 goes straight to voicemail unless i call that person first
Thanks for the quick reply. Do not disturb is not activated. It will receive call if I ring that person and they ring me back but soon after they can't get through again. I have now turned off voicemail completely and it seems to have fixed it for now. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

Iphone rings goes straight to voicemail
iphone 5 to iphone 5 - rings goes straight to voicemail. This problem does not appear in our local service area. This issue has happened in AK and now in FL. I don't know if this is a Verizon issue or iphone issue. Also when texting my outgoing message shows in blue box, the receiver receives text in white box and the reverse occurs when responding to text message.
The call problem is a carrier issue. Contact Verizon.
There is no apparant problem with your iMessages as you describe. What do you think is wrong? -
Been told off 2 friends my bb is going straight 2 voicemail but according 2 my setup & coverage its showing 3g. I can still call out, recieve texts & emails. Please help xx
Sounds like you have a call divert setup. Give your carrier a call and should be able to check and advise how to setup the correct diverts.

When I am connected to LTE (EE network) my iphone 5 goes straight to voicemail and I can't receive calls?! Anyone know a solution to this problem?
Hi
I have just spoken to EE about this very issue.
Apparently the sim is timing out the call before you even get it and passes it to voicemail.
I was given the following 2 codes by their support to "call" with the phone.
##002**89#
##002**11#
Then re-boot the phone.
This effectively turns off the automatic re-route to voicemail but standard voicemail when not reachable still works.
I still need to play with the voicemail settings a bit but it seems to work.
Second.
I was also getting an issue where I was simply loosing service at random times even though I was not moving.
THIS issue apple is woking on. The problem is cause when moving between 3G and 4G signals, sometimes the phone just looses the service.
A fix for that (Till apple comes up with one) is to simply go into settings and turn off LTE unless you really need it. -
When people try to call me my iPhone6 goes straight to voicemail when I'm not on a call. People get the "I'm on another call" message, is this an easy problem to fix ?
Contact your wireless carrier and ask them.

Calls going straight to voicemail
Anybody else having a problem today with calls going directly into VM? Both my phone and the wife's phone have been acting up. No ring, no vibrate, but suddenly a missed call and a VM. AT&T network problem? (I'm in West Los Angeles.)
You are not alone, I can assure you! I have been having the exact same problem for over a month since exchanging my original phone for a refurb thru warranty and upgrading to the 2.01 then 2.02 and now 2.1 sotware. What I do know about this prob is that it is NOT an AT&T or network issue bcuz A) I work for AT&T and have already talked to our net svcs dept on several occassions and B) I put my SIM card back into my old Razor to test 3 diff times and it works flawlessly right off the bat every single time. So then I thought for sure I just had a lemon with that refurb exchange so I exchanged it once again (and tested test issue on both phones with NONE of my personal data sync'd) and I am STILL having the exact same issue with the 2nd replacement phone from apple.
Ps: text messages are even more unreliable and appear anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours or even days later!!! I cannot imagine this being anything other than a coding issue that has yet to be address with this clusterbomb of an update they call 2.0. -
Some calls are coming in and some aren't. Is there something I should do to my phone or is this a network issue?
Try resetting your network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
If this doesn't resolve it, contact your wireless carrier for assistance, as the problem is most likely with the network, not your phone. -
The phone was working normally for almost 2 years, but the last few days it doesn't ring and nobody can reach me. Help please?
Of course, you have checked the little slider on the left side near the top that turns off the ringer? I have sometimes had it get bumped so that it wasn't all the way in the on position & so it didn't ring & I missed calls. It wasn't all the way down, so it looked like it was in the ring position, but not all the way. So try turning it to the vibrate position & then back up to the ring position & see if that will fix it.
But you might also take a look in Settings. Browse around & possibly a setting somehow got changed.
A good general thing to do w computing devices (which this is) when they start acting strange or different than normal is to turn it off for a couple of minutes or so. Then turn it back on. That can clear out garbage that can get in the memory somehow. That will often fix things & should be done before any more drastic steps.
& its probably a good idea to turn it off periodically just to clear out stuff that can get left behind.
If the above doesn't work & you still haven't figured it out, if you are near an Apple store I would recommend setting up a Genius Bar appt. They should be able to figure it out.
Unfortunately for me I used to have 2 Apple stores w in about a 10-15 min drive & then a couple more that were just a little further--maybe a half hour & w decent parking available. Now I've moved to Portland & was shocked to discover only 1 Apple Store downtown where you have to pay to park. So I haven't even activated my One to One membership yet. Did take the Max down there which I guess was simpler than driving. -
Answer the phone
Hi qwerty,
Dun tink that creative customer support sucks cos I had been dealing with them in the past and I can say that their service are quite gd and fast. If you wanted a refund, I tink you need to contact the store that sells you the product. Dun tink creative will refund you though.
