Online Services encountered an error.  Error 6: SOAP fault

We run APSE 3.2 and we get the following error when we try to share our photos online;
Online Services encountered an error.
The service will now be terminated or paused if possible.
(Error 6: SOAP fault)
Everything seemed to run ok for about a month and than bang SOAP Error 6
We did not install any additional applications since we have installed APSE!!??
We do not run application based firewall - we only have the statefull XP FW Enabled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Bob L.

Bob:
Try this:
In Starter Edition, go to Preferences, and then click on Photoshop Services.
Then, click on Reset Services
Then click on OK to close the preferences panel.
Then, quit and restart Starter Edition.
It should work.
Let us know how it goes.

When attempting to Publish a 40 min video to Adobe Revel from Adobe Premiere Version 12.1  I receive an error message "Online Services encountered an error" popup window when attempting to finish the last 5 seconds during the "Upload" process.

I have published other video using the same process in the past.

Attempted to Publish full length 40 min video again on 6/30/14 , still same error message
Published to DVD works as expected.
But, still have to publish to Adobe Revel .

Sorry to say the issue continues, in spite of the last successful upload of a previous small video.
It seems that the direct upload from Premier 12 to Revel works fine for small video. But when attempting a larger on (over 40 min)
It continues to fail in the last few min of the upload process.
The same large video can be rendered on local PC as a movie and then uploaded to Revel from the browser.

    Don,
I recommend that you look at
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshopelements-6-7-faq.htm#_Reset_the_Organizers
You may need to scroll down to the choice for
    b Reset the Organizer's online-services state
if the link does not directly take you to that specific entry
Because you reported that you had a failure in a previous online service attempt I think it is very probable that you need to reset the online services.
FYI - Uninstalling and reinstalling does not reset these user related parameters

  • Adobe Premier 10 - Online Services encountered an error.

    HELP
For about 4 or 5 days I have been able to Share to Facebook my little videos Via the Online Facebook built into Premier 10.
After some permission problems things started working and I was able to post a couple of video that I made
directly out of premier over a period of several days.
Today when I tried to post an error was returned "Online Services encountered an error. . . . . "
I had not even re-booted my system nothing had changed.  I have tried to post a video that I had
already posted, same error.  Went to facebook and removed permissions for Adobe to access my
account, thinking that maybe this would cause a re-set of some kind, but alas no, same error.
If I try to post to you tube the program gets to a user name password screen, but I don't have an account there.
Shut down by firewall, but same error.
    Anyone have any ideas.
Is there a format that I can produce and then manualy upload that would work as well?
    Dave

With nothing changed at your end it is most likely a problem at Facebooks end. Try again later and see if it works again.
To manually upload follow the suggestions in the FAQ : How can I get the best quality on YouTube?

  • Premiere Elements 8 - Online services encountered an error

Running Premiere Elements 8 on Windows Vista 64 bit and everytime I try to export to YouTube I get an error:
I'm connected to the Internet just fine over a high-speed connection, I have a YouTube account and have uploaded many other videos before, but this is the first time I've tried it with Premeire Elements. I've tried restarting both Premiere and my entire computer, but still get this error. Here are the setting that I am using to export to YouTube ... default settings in Premiere Elements 8.
    Any thoughts?

Have you gone to Edit/Preferences and refreshed the online settings?
If that doesn't work, it could be YouTube has once again change its settings on us.
Here's the workaround, if that's the case.

  • Error message says online services encountered an error. service will be terminated when i try and upload.

cant upload videos anymore as I get the error message stated in the title. im trying to upload to youtube and never use to have problems. please help . thanks in advance. H

    H
Please describe the export settings for the file saved to the hard drive and which is subsequently uploading to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
Be advised that the Youtube feature within Premiere Elements has limit of 2 GB file size/15 minute duration. Your actual file size and duration
    may be exceeding those limits.
Even if you have an extended time account at YouTube, it cannot be used within the Premiere Elements built in feature.
And, if you go to YouTube with a file for upload there, you will need to apply for an extended account before being allowed to upload
more than 2 GB/15 minutes. All that is my current understanding of that situation. Check YouTube for details.
As a test, you could cut the file down to 10 minutes and see if you then can upload that file to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
The other part of the matter is what are your export settings to generate this file?
If you are not already...please select
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
with an appropriate MP4 preset choice - H.264 1920 x 1080p30 or YouTube Widescreen HD.
Then upload that to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
Also try the 10 minutes cut down Timeline in an upload to YouTube from within the Premiere Elements YouTube feature.
We will be watching for your results.
    Thank you.

  • The hyper-v virtual machine management service encountered an unexpected error logon failure 0x80070569

I dont understand why Microsoft people can't make things simpler
    They are LITERALLY MOTHER F%^%RS
Bill Gate and his team need to learn hot to F^&&IN make things.

I agree, the use of profanity is completely unnecessary, we've all been in the stressful situation before, it still doesn't call for it.
The network you're receiving an APIPA IP on, is it the virtual switch you setup when adding the Hyper-V role?  If so you can get the warnings to go away and subsequently hide the adapter by unchecking the 'Allow host to manage this adapter' setting
in the virtual network manager of Hyper-V manager on each node.
Tim is also right, while disk resources are only owned by one node, you'll see the mount points for CSVs located under C:\ClusterStorage.
More importantly, you're logon issue sounds directly related to group policy.  I had the same problem moving to Server 2012.  Yes, it's an annoying process but in the end you will have a working cluster.  I did the following steps:
    1. Install 'Group Policy Manager' on one of the nodes in your Hyper-V cluster
    2. Log on to the node you installed it on with a Domain Admin or appropriately endowed account that can edit the GPO relating to 'Logon as a service right'
    3. Edit the GPO where you specify who can logon as a server, OR if you don't have one, make a new one and link it to the OU with the Hyper-V nodes
    4. Add permission to that right for 'NT Virtual Machine\Virtual Machine Group', save and exit
    5. As an optional step I would reboot the nodes so you make sure they get it
The problem here is that security group ONLY exists on servers that have Hyper-V installed on them.  If you add the group on a machine that has it to the GPO, the SID for the group is saved and each Hyper-V host will know what group that is.  The
problem you're having right now is most likely related to a GPO changing 'Logon as a service right' to your needs and setup in Group Policy.  When a Hyper-V node starts up, it automatically adds the right for that group to the local security policy, however,
group policy's auto refresh will remove it after a certain amount of time.

  • Online Services Encounters and Error

    Hello,
I'm running PE 12 and have successfully uploaded multiple videos to Vimeo this month, but the past two days I receive an error message "online services encountered and error. the service will now be terminated or paused if possible".
Is there an update or something I'm missing?
    Thank you!
    Kelly

    Kelly,
When you use Publish+Share/Social Websites/Vimeo, you bypass the steps of having to save your Timeline to a file and then upload that file to Vimeo at the Vimeo web site and your Vimeo account. Instead, the Timeline content is processed and uploaded to Vimeo from the program, using your Vimeo account.
With these longer times, check out the computer settings to assure that the computer does not go to sleep.
At this point, I can only speculate why the longer upload times
    a. Vimeo problems - traffic or otherwise
    b. Any chance that latest upload has some differences than earlier ones, effects applied such as Video Stablilizer
    c. Generalized Internet Connection Problem
    d. Any multitasking
    e. Any pile up of Premiere Elements preview files, conformed audio, conformed video that might impact performance of Premiere Elements and computer
Do you still have any of the project.prels whose Timeline uploads were characterized by shorter upload times to Vimeo from Publish+Share/Social Websites/Vimeo. You could try the upload again for one of these projects.
If you exported this current Timeline to file and uploaded it at the Vimeo web site, is the expected upload time still 5 hours?
Please review the above and then we can decide what next.
    Thanks.

  • Handling of SOAP Faults in SOAP Clients consuming PI Web services

    Hi there,
the following is in regards to SOAP fault error handling in a SOAP client that consumes a Web Service published by PI.
I have been reading a number of threads and blogs in regards to this topic and I am still left with some open questions which I hope to get some final answersclarifications through this thread.
    In particular the blogs
Handling Web Service SOAP Fault Responses in SAP NetWeaver XI      - Handling Web Service SOAP Fault Responses in SAP NetWeaver XI
XI: Propagation of meaningful error information to SOAP Client     - XI: Propagation of meaningful error information to SOAP Client
    have caused by attention.
Both of these threads are realating to the Fault Message type one can use to return errors back to a SOAP Client (.Net, Java, etc.).
In our scenario we published a number of Web Services through PI that provide functionality to integrate with an R3 back-end system using inbound ABAP Proxies.
The services are standardised and will be consumed by a number of .NetJava applications and systems. The reason for the use of ABAP proxies is the customer specific application logic that is executed in the backend system. The Web services are synchronous and don't use ccBPM in the middle. Transformations are performed in PI combined with various lookups to set default values before the message is passed into the ABAP Framework of the R3 back-end system. The lookups are done against the R3 back-end system using the PI RFC Lookup feature.
The inbound proxies currently return application errors as part of the response message back to the SOAP client. For more critical errors we introduced the use of Fault message types as the method to return the information back to the SOAP Client. This is all working satisfactory.
The questions I have are as follows.
    1. When an error occurs at the IE level (e.g. mapping error), ABAP Proxy framework level (e.g. conversion from XML to ABAP format) or Adapter Framework level (Adapter releated error) a different SOAP fault message structure is returned to the SOAP Client than the one    used for the application errors. The SOAP fault message structure used in this case is the standard SOAP fault used by PI to return system errors back to the caller. For those SOAP fault messages there is no payload generated that could be mapped to the SOAP fault structure used for the application errors. This would be preferrable as there would be only one Fault message structure used for both inbound ABAP proxy generated fault messages and PI generated fault messages.
Also the error messages generated by PI can be quite cryptic and difficult to interpret at the client end and could be filtered     ranslated during message mapping if the payload of the PI generated SOAP fault message could be accessed in a message mapping.
Point 3 of the above thread 2759 indicates that this would be possible but doesn't outline how. Could somebody please clarify this for me as I don't believe that this is really possible ???.
My idea instead was to use the PI SOAP fault message structure to also return application errors. Therefore I would create a Fault message type that matches the PI SOAP fault structure. This would enable the SOAP Client to handle only one SOAP Fault error structure. Would that be something to look into instead ?????.
    2. We have been looking at using the integrated WEB AS SOAP adapter instead of using the AF Sender SOAP adapter. While playing with this we encountered differences in the content returned through the SOAP fault generated by PI. A sample is below. Shouldn't the content of these SOAP faults be the same if the error that caused it is the same. Also the SOAP fault returned by the IE SOAP adapter is much more    useful in this particular case. Both errors below are the same, a conversion error from XML to ABAP took place in the inbound ABAP proxy framework of the back-end system.
SOAP fault returned when using SOAP Sender adapter of AF

There may already be a blog or thread and I just missed it.
    Any comments are welcome.
    Thanks. Dieter

    Hi Dieter,
As Bhavesh already mentioned fault messages are used for application errors. The same is described in SAP XI help:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/dd/b7623c6369f454e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
In case of system error (e.g. field length too long in proxy call or error in XI/PI mapping) there seems to be no standard way of handling it and propagating the response to the consumer of webservice.
Each system error is not recognized by SOAP adapter and SOAP adapter exception is raised.
The only bizzare solution that I can see is developing an adapter module and transport wrong message to standard fault message before delivering it to adapter engine:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a4/f13341771b4c0de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    Kind regards,
    Wojciech

My question is How does the Web Service Consumer can handle this Soap Server Error in the SOAP Fault.Or How can we provide a specific information like  'The value '123456789' of element 'CompanyCode' is not valid. It exceeds the Maximum Length'.
I read this /people/sap.user72/blog/2006/01/16/xi-propagation-of-meaningful-error-information-to-soap-client blog .Where it is mentioned that the Web Service Consumer can handle while calling the Web Service. Is there any other solution?
    Kindly appreciate your help.

Thank You Stefan for your kind reply.
So  you mean to say if we use the XML Validation .we cannot provide proper error information to the calling Web Service Consumer .And While calling a Web Service they cannot Extract the Exact Message in the Text Filed(<text>) present under the Detail Element (<detail>) in the <SOAP:Fault> node. as
<text>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageFormatException: XML Validation for payload with root element name MT_Out_CustomerMaster_FPMReq , target namespace http://Pegasystems.com/I06_Customers Failed!Errors Encountered During Parsing
1.cvc-maxLength-valid: Value '123456789' with length = '9' is not facet-valid with respect to maxLength '8' for type 'null'.
2.cvc-type.3.1.3: The value '123456789' of element 'CompanyCode' is not valid.**
3.cvc-maxLength-valid: Value 'asdf' with length = '4' is not facet-valid with respect to maxLength '1' for type 'null'.
4.cvc-type.3.1.3: The value 'asdf' of element 'OperationType' is not valid.
That is why we have to use the Fault messages and  Field Lengths has to be Validated  in the Server proxy.
Please Correct me If I am wrong.

    Hi,
Goto SM59 and check if both the RFC destination are fine. Also go to SLDAPICUST transcation and see you have given proper SLD URL, USER and pass.
