Online Store tax refund?

hi. i bought iphone5 on Online Store(germany). And German airport customs approved online bill. Customs said that I have to send it. and now what should i do? how do i get tax refund?

The German Apple Store does say that you can apply for a VAT refund but doesn't detail the process. Someone else here may have been through the process and be able to provide details, but if not, you'll have to call the Apple Store in Germany and ask them how to submit.

It is easier to get it from the Apple Reseller. They are all over Singapore.
Alternatively, you can get it from the Apple Reseller at Terminal 3 at the airport.
Tell them you must have the GST refund form.

Correct Paul - in the USA, each State sets its own sales tax, so the tax is only calculated during checkout once you've entered shipping/billing information. Even within some states, some cities have their own sales tax rate (eg. New York State is 4% but New York City is 8.875%).

I am going through the same process! It is a nightmare doing anything with adobe. They make it as difficult as possible to get a refund and keep asking me if i want anothe program instead of a refund. They are making me jump through all kinds of hoops to get the refund and refuse to call me. They have ZERO customer service and the only reason they stay in business is because they have no real competitors. It's a shame, but I suggest you reprot them to the Better Business Bureau. I did.

Words cannot describe how much I want a MacBook, but if I go buy one from the Apple Store or somewhere like that, I'll be paying the 7.75% ~ 8.25% tax since I live in California, which amounts to an extra $100 or so on the 2GHz white MacBook. If I buy it from the online store, will I still be charged tax, or will I actually be paying $1299?

Well, of course to remain within the law, you do report your "use tax" to your state or local government when required, right? You do have to pay taxes on your purchase, it's just a matter of whether the vendor collects it and submits it to your state or local government or if you submit it after the purchase.

GST refund for Apple Singapore Online store purchase

I am planning to visit Singapore for a couple of weeks and thought of buying iPhone 4S from Apple singapore online store. Is it possible to apply for GST refund for purchases made from Apple Singapore online store? If so, could you please suggest how?

From a UK point of view it genrally takes about 3 weeks from when u ordered for it to be delivered to you. However many customers are seening a improvement of these time, as Singapore is closer to China where the iPhones are shipped out from (if not a warehouse in Singapore) I would guess 2 and half weeks from when you ordered.
Just from my personal experience although it has launched in loads of countries today so would not be suprised if it does take 3 weeks to ship and and a week to deliver.

I have a question about tax refund.
I will be in Austria soon, but I'm not the Austrian citizen (Russian). I want to order iphone 5 via the online austrian apple store http://store.apple.com/at .
Is it possible to make the order with the opportunity to get taxes back (TAX REFUND)?
Usually, if I buy in the regular Apple Store (not via the internet), I'm telling, to make my purchase for tax refund, and guys put it into the seal box with the bill.
So, how to make the same via online apple store?

The online Apple Store has no email address, at least not one they make public. You'll need to find a way to call their number from your country if you have questions. There are various ways to call toll-free numbers from other countries, such as through Skype. Search the web for other options.
Note that the help files for the Austrian Apple Store make no mention of refunds for VAT collected in the EU, so that may not be an option. You'll have to call them and inquire. You will also want to ask them if they can accept a non-Austrian credit card; they may not, or may only accept credit cards from other EU countries.
Note also that you will get no support for an Austrian-sold iPhone in Russia. Should the iPhone every require servicing, you would have to take it back to an EU country.

How can I file a formal complaint with the Apple Online Store Canada?

I've spoken to two customer service representatives at this point about an order that I cancelled within a half an hour of placing it, as I was initially unaware that the product I purchased would not fit my sister's iPhone. As stated in the Cancelled Order portion of the following page: http://store.apple.com/ca/help/viewing_changing_orders#cancel, I should NOT have been billed for the order. I was billed last Friday and am still yet to receive the refund, despite the fact that the first rep I spoke to advised that my money would be refunded in one day. The statement on the link I provided is completely misleading, as well as the email I received stating that I would not be charged at all. Someone with Apple must amend this statement on the website and the automated emails, as it could be considered legally misleading. I will in no way be pursuing any legal action, as I don't have the time and I'm only out $90.00, but I can't imagine having purchased the MacBook that I wanted to purchase prior to this incident and going through an ordeal like this again. Can someone please advise who I should contact and where I can find their contact information please? I love the apple products that I own and would hate to discontinue my customer relationship with the company.

Also, please remember that no refund from any store is instantaneous. They will process the refund, probably within 24 - 48 hours. After that, your bank/credit card company has to credit your account....... mine takes at least 3 business days to do so (the banks are very efficient in posting charges, but like to keep the money for a couple of days before giving it back to you - they've been doing that for years).
Edit: I just checked their return/refunds policy and it includes this:
Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancel request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:
If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

But I really hope to know why it cost $201 more than the ones that sold on apple online store, since the consumption tax can't be that much.

Online Store Issue - Unsecure page

I have a problem with my online store and the product ordering process.
1. A customer recently advised that their "browser says your website is untrusted when I clicked on the buy now button".
2. I could not replicate this error, however, when I clicked on CHECK OUT, I was taken to an UNSECURE page:

I was using Chrome.
A friend tried the process on his computer using Chrome - it took him correctly to a SECURE page.
I tried the process again on Internext Explorer and Firefox - I was taken correctly to a SECURE page. Yet, it always goes to un UNSECURE page on my computer when I use Chrome.
Are the two above problems related?
Is there a fix please?

I have already been contacted. I informed them that I will be returning the entire order upon receipt. It is unacceptable to me to have to chase things down like this. Better testing between your store front and the Amazon site should have been done.
Your support staff was not empowered to make a?decision about a mere 40 dollars.
I cannot do business with companies like Creative. I will still enjoy the 2 sets of Creative PC speakers I have purchased, but I will never purchase another Creative product.
