Online videos (not youtube) cannot play on Nokia 8...

I have a Nokia 808 Pureview.
Online videos cannot be played on most sites.
Can someone help to solve the problem?

I have the Nokia 700 with Belle, and it also refuse to show Flash video from other sources that YouTube. I have been in contact with Nokia support, and they claim that the Nokia Browser indeed supports flash, but anyway it does not.

Where the projector is concerned, AVIs are not actually using
WMP to run the file ... it actually uses the older Mplayer32
application which is also found on all Windows systems.
MPlayer32 does not natively support MPG4 and so if you just
installed the codec it was likely introduced for a temporary
period, but upon restart the system only loads the basic codecs for
Mplayer32.
This is why a typical video project usually uses QT media or
Flash media for videos, since many of the older codecs supported by
MPlayer are not very "size friendly". In some cases they are also
"quality" challenged.
QT media requires the user to have QT installed, but you can
always include the installer on the CD for free, and many people
have it already.
Another third party alternative is Real media, and there is
an xtra in Director that will handle the files ... but again this
requires Real player to be installed on the user's machine. You
can, once again, include the installer on the CD ... but fewer
people have it installed compared to QT.
The MPeg Advanced Xtra may be a way to go, since it will
actually interact with the WMP engine, rather than the older
MPlayer32 engine.
On the XP+ machines, I believe the older MPlayer32 app is
actually cross-wired into the new WMP so it will allow b/c for some
apps that use it still, which is why it works on the XP machine,
but that will not happen on the earlier Win OS's

Ray is correct, Windows Phone only play YouTube videos (thru YouTube clients or the mobile website, or thru YouTube videos embedded in webpages themselves).

Online videos not playing only in safari- it's working perfect on Mozila firefox

Does it show that you have Flash installed & working ?
Do you have Safari - Preferences - Security set to allow Plug-Ins ?.
If yes to all that - give an example website address where you have problems & say what happens when you try to view the video.

Youtube HD Video not able to play

I am having troube to play HD video on Youtube-safari
if i start video it start with 240 or 360p and if i switch from 240p/360p to 720HD or 1080 HD video stop streaming and not able to play video,
before that it wasn't problem i am able to stream video in 720/1080HD,
if i play same video in google crome it is running Perfectly fine.
Please let help me how can i come out from this problem !!!

You don't play video on Mountain Lion. You might play videos within your web browser which perhaps you are. Need the Adobe Flash Player?

Youtube videos not loading and playing on Mac Mini

Safari can't stream videos from Youtube. The videos may start to load and play for a few seconds to a minute, but I can't watch a single video all the way through without it continually pausing for minutes at a time, and then eventually just pausing indefinitely while the video tries to load. I updated my Adobe Flashplayer plug-in (from Adobe's website), I reset Safari and emptied all of the internet info like cookies and things. The mac is only a couple weeks old, so there's not a gazillion things added to Safari or anything like that, as far as extensions and plug-ins and whatnot. I only have the "adblocker" extension, because it was recommended in a thread like this one, and had helped others with the youtube problem. I'm not terribly computer savvy. Please help!

From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.
If you use a FireWire audio interface, disconnect it and test again.

Online video not playing

I have windows 8.1 with IE 11 that I can't watch online video from local news. The commercial clip is playing fine but when it comes to the news video, it says "sorry, clip not found. Media not found' and I only have one option to click 'OK'. The video
screen stays black.
The same video playing fine on my Windows 7 Pro, so I am sure it is not the source but on my IE 11 windows 8.1. Any tips to make correct this? thanks

Far as I can tell there might be a couple of issues,
One the security certificate expired on the site,
Another might be your Adobe Flash/ shockwave player might be outdated,
Which the newest version is 13.0.0.214,
Get it here after Uninstalling which ever version you have installed,

How do you set up a page for videos, with a common target area, each video loaded with a different button trigger (not youtube videos)?

You can use a Composition widget for the purpose and have videos hosted at your site (if not an online service) play using HTML5 video tag. A similar thread here on the usage of this HTML tag - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5210727.

uhoh, I get the question mark when trying to play videos at youtube. What is wrong?
they still play on the macbook which i have not upgraded.

Your OS is sort of outdated. See if updating to OS 10.4.10 helps.
Repair permissions & restart.
*Regarding QT MIME Settings:*
Everything under *Still Images* should be checked/enabled except for *PDF Image*.
Everything under Miscellaneous should be checked/enabled.
*Regarding Safari:*
V3.x is beta under Tiger. Meaning you should expect buggy performance until Apple decides to release a final version (if ever) for Tiger.

How to view online video (eg YouTube) on Power PC G4

I gave my old 17" power pc G4 laptop to my mother a few months ago when I upgraded mine. Its pre intel and running 10.4.11
Unfortunately the flash plug in currently running is too old for a bunch of online video services. Is there any way to update or solve this?
I've tried downloading older versions from Adobe archives but it doesn't seem to work for me.
My mother doesn't need a new computer, she's really happy with the old 17" Power PC, but would ideally like to get these video capabilities up and running if possible.
All help greatly appreciated!

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

Whatsapp audio note received cannot play on Lumia ...

The audio notes sent from my friends android use to be able to play audio notes and now it says cannot play this file but videos work ok?

What is the internet connection you're using? Have you tried restarting the device? You can also re-install the application and check if this will be resolved. If it's still the same, you can contact the publisher of the Whatsapp and inform them about the issue. Please let us know the outcome.

Issue with inserting online video from YouTube

When attempting to insert online video in either Word 2013 or Powerpoint 2013 using the Youtube option, I click on a video then select insert but nothing happens. This is while logged on as a domain account. When I log onto the machine as a
local user it works fine. I have another domain account that is in the same OU and it also is fine. As far as I can tell they have the exact same group policy settings. The only difference is the account that is having the issue is a local
profile while the one that works has a roaming profile. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this?

OK now it is telling me that I need to install FFmpeg and I keep trying to install with no luck. It tells me that the internet connection is not happening however it seems like I am connected for everything else...

PowerPoint 2013 Insert Online Video not available

Just trying out PowerPoint 2013 and I noticed I am not able to insert a video.
Proceeding to Insert tab, Media ribbon, and then "Online Video..." brings up a screen that only says "Sign in with your Microsoft account to insert photos and videos from Facebook, SkyDrive, and other sites.
I wish to use embed code to insert a YouTube video.

The process is right. Currently using embed code or insert Online video is causing a lot of problems in PowerPoint 2013. One day it works, and another it doesn't. We are all waiting for Microsoft/Google/Adobe to sort this out.

Embedded video not displaying or playing in PDF

Hello, I am trying to embed a video using InDesign CC 2014 but it is not displaying or playing when looking at it using Adobe reader. Please help!

Make sure it's a format InDesign supports (MP4 preferred). If necessary use Adobe Media Encoder to convert to MP4, H264 encoding.
Preview in the Media panel (Interactive > Media). Set options in Media panel (Poster, Controller). Preview in Media panel and in SWF or EPUB Interactive panel.
Export your PDF as PDF (Interactive).
