Onlocation CS5 does not start record but freezes

I have a Sony HVR-ZU1 camera , using Premiere CS5 to capture video from the miniDV tape in the camera works fine.
I want to save the heads on my camera so I want to use Onlocation.
I bring up the software choose the camera and I can see perfectly, everything
is operational.
However, when I click the record button in onlocation everything freezes.
Any suggestions?

This worked for me too on the HP ProBook with firewire. Stopped the internal WEB Cam in device manger and all fine.

Hello everyone,
I'm facing to a strange issue on my SharePoint 2013 server:
A workflow creates an item in an other list.
This list has two workflows created by Designer 2013, one 2010, the other in 2013. The two are configured with the "Start when item created".When the item is created, 2010 starts but not the 2013.
I'm not using the system account and I have two workflows to understand why the 2013 is not started automatically.

CS5 does not start from new SSD disc

I have recently exchanged my HDD with a new SSD disc on a Macbook Pro running Mavericks. I have put an image of my original disc on the SSD and after installation everything runs fine as it should, except of Illustrator CS5, which doesn't even start up.
I get the following error:
Adobe Illustrator cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Illustrator works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.
If I actually plug in my old HDD as USB disc and start CS5 there, it runs no problem. Hence it doesn't seem to be a problem of the OS (anyway, it worked fine before changing the discs).

Anybody understands what the problem could be?

Uninstall AI and reinstall from the original disks. Something got munched in the imaging. Adobe apps are not fond of such changes.

When try to download a program in safari, it does not start download, but only turn into black screen (software is updated). Anyone know why?

Suddenly yesterday, I can´t download any programs to my Imac. When I start download, the screen just turn black and nothing more happen. All the software is updated and I don´t remind we have used any download manager before.
We just moved back from China to Denmark (The mac is brought in Denmark) and first time use the mac since we come back. Is there any settings, we maybe need to adjust?

Image Processor does not start through Bridge CS5

Image Processor does not start through Bridge CS5, it starts only PS and nothing happen. I do not know, how to repair it.

Most likely you do not have the startup files checked.
In Bridge go to edit/preferences/startup scripts. Make sure you have a check mark for Bridge and Photoshop. Without that they can't talk to each other.

What happens if you have no outlook.exe and any office software such as word excel or powerpoint running and then you try to launch Lync Does it still fails Can you give more detail about the error in that scenario?

Service reads data but Bpel process does not start

i have a very simple project. I have db2(as400) adapter and it reads data, i will receive data, transfom and send to oracle database. I deployed the project successfuly but when instance start i see the service reads the data but bpel process does not start and and there is no error. At the flow chart there is only readAS400 partnerlink, there is no bpelprocess. In the partnerlink i am usin polling, i read the data's with 1 and update to 2. It reads but dont update to 2.
In deploy step and when instance starts there is no errors. But when i am deploying i get a warning but i dont know it's related with this situation.
(Warning: property "activationAgent.readAs400.className" may not be understood by BPEL component BPELProcessEqpType - it will likely be ignored.)
Do you have any suggestion ? Thanks in advance.

check the recovery console, the bpel process possibly is going into manual recovery,
Another thing you might wanna try is using checkpoints in your process..
also, instead of getting the db adapter to instantiate the process, try a simpler process just to see if the db adapter is working or not..
A normal process, which you manually instantiate from em console, with the db adapter in it after the recevie activity

Extensions can sometimes be the cause of problems. If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem. See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

Xfce4-power-manager does not start, but after relogin - works

When I login after system start, xfce4-power-manager does not start and systemtray icon doesn't appear. But after relogin (not restart), the systemtray icon of xfce4-power-manager appears and power manager itself works correctly (if I don't relogin, notebook will shutdown after 10 minutes of downtime - that rule doesn't exist in xfce4-power-manager settings).

Try any of the following:

Disconnect all devices from the computer then do the following:
Boot up from your Snow Leopard Install DVD while holding down the "c" key.
Select the language you wish to use, and then choose "Disk Utility" from the menu bar.
Your HD should appear in a panel on the left hand side of the window which opens. Select it and then click on the "repair disk" button in the right hand section of the window.
Once this process has been completed restart your computer and repair permissions directly from Disk Utility.
If Disk Utility is unable to complete the repair, you will need to use a stronger 3rd party utility like DiskWarrior, Techtool PRO (not Deluxe) or Drive Genius.

T400 does not start up with a battery and AC, but starts up with only AC.

I bought T400, 7417-CTO in Jan 2010. My T400 does not start up with a battery and AC power. I tried to start with only AC power after pulling out the battery, it worked fine. Even when I inserted the battery in T400, which was running perfectly with AC only, T400 seems to lose the power - more strictly speaking, it kept stoping and re-running several times, and finally it dead.
a few possibilities
1) a battery is dead - but it does not explain the failure with both AC and battery
2) some hibernation issue - I plugged in and out the DIMM, and clock battery. I tried to keep pushing the power button trick, but it didn't work
3) Mother board failure??
I really appreciate if you give me some advice on it.

You need to enable the Add-ons bar (Firefox > Options or View > Toolbars; Ctrl+/) or the Find bar (Ctrl+F) to make Firefox scroll the page while selecting text.

Also, I noticed that after I click, my computer makes a lot of noise et becomes slow & gets almost blocked: I can see that in the task manager/processes, firefox is there and consume a lot of memory ressources.

I am not interested by this option as I want to keep my current profile as I am using programs working on this profile and also have Firefox working on this profile.
But I have a new information which might help. I did not see it during my last tentative but after a few minutes after Mozilla launch, there was like a bug report which were generated.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
