OnLocation does not support input from Aja KONA?
I'm confused as to what the purpose of OnLocation is if it cannot support input via HDMI/SDI coming through an AJA KONA card?
Seriously, can anybody explain what the point of this application is? Capturing Firewire sources? Seems like it would be an easy update to add support for real capture cards, no?

Seriously, what have you done to troubleshoot this? There's any number of goofy things that you could do that may result in this issue. I'd start with reading the Kona manual and the rather extensive part in FCP about external monitoring.

PSE 8 does not support Nikon 7000D RAW files?
I just got a Nikon 7000D, and when I tried to open up one of the .NEF (RAW) files in PSE 8, it wasn't supported. I researched the Camera RAW plug-in, and from what I can tell, PSE 8 is only compatible with Camera RAW up to version 6.2. It looks like version 6.3 is only useable with PSE 9.
Camera RAW 6.2 does not support files from the Nikon 7000D, or at least the list I saw does not show it, so I did not download 6.2. Is my only choice for being able to use PSE 9 with my 7000D to spend the money on PSE 9? -Bill CYou could also download the standalone DNG converter and make DNG files (which you may be able to process in 6.2), or use the Nikon software to convert your files and do any additional editing in PSE.

Satellite A210-131 sound driver does not support DirectSound input
Starting Premiere Pro CS3 , an error message appears:
- "Der zurzeit installierte Soundkartentreiber unterstuetzt keine DirectSound-Eingaenge" Es ist keine Audioaufnahme moeglich".
- "The installed sound card driver does not support the DirectSound input. The Sound recording is not possible"
Please help me to find a working driver. Operating system is Windows Visat Ulimate.

In my personal knowledge the DirectSound is an addition to Microsoft's DirectX system. It should be included in the DirectX.
Please check if you have installed the newest version of DirectX 9C.
Furthermore I would recommend updating the sound driver. On the Toshiba page you could find the latest two versions of Realtek sound dirver;
- 6.0.1.5374
- 6.0.1.5406
If both will not support the DirectSound input try another one from the Realtek homepage.

New laptop with 8.1, Used USB to transfer itunes library from windows 7 computer into My music on 8.1, cannot get it to play, I get the usual does not support extension itl message and a list of programs, a few of which I tried with no luck. songs are a mix of CDs and amazons, no songs actually bought from apple, but player dashboard is itunes. This means that your NAS does not support the required encryption. Update your NAS to the latest firmware or ditch it and buy a Time Capsule (they are the most reliable when using TM).

Since transferring data from my desktop to my laptop, i am now having problems copying and pasting details from my bank website in to a word document, the formatting is all over the place. This didnt happen before, when i pasted the details in to the word document the formatting was exactly the same as on the webpage. If I use internet explorer, I dont have this problem, so, I can only assume it has something to do with Firefox. Also make sure there are no other versions of Xcode anywhere on your system. If there are delete them all and then do a fresh download and install of Xcode, BTW why are you nor installing from the Mac App Store, where did you get the dmg from?

The current 9i TG works with the existing views and packages. These same db objects will not compile using the new 11g TG.
The db objects are on an Oracle 10g database linked to an SQL Server 2008 R2 database.

That toolbar/ct plugin causes problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:

Sound Card is a "Realtek High Definition Audio"
Driver Version 6.0.1.5408
It was shipped with this Dell PC.
I checked the driver was up to date etc. So not sure what to do now.

I don't usually download video from the iTunes store. I had a couple of long plane rides coming up and thought I might have time to watch the Stanford IOS7 programming class. On the plane I discovered this issue which has gone unaddressed since 2011 and has been worsened in Mavericks. in 2011 the advice was to open iTunes' get info pane and click run in 32 bit. That worked at least for some people. In Mavericks, iTunes will not launch in 32 bit.
For the files you can locate in the finder ( mine are at
/Users/raine001/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Media/iTunes\ U/Developing\ iOS\ 7\ Apps\ for\ iPhone\ and\ iPad/1.\ Class\ Logistics\,\ Overview\ of\ iOS\,\ MVC\,\ Objective-C.mp4
) you can click on the file in the finder and it will launch in QuickTime. For some reason on the plane I could see the first lecture in the iTunes view but, although I could see all the other lectures in the finder, I could not see the first one.
Ah well, maybe some other year I'll think about getting up to speed on ios7. Heck, maybe by then they will design a decent user experience.
