Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30

Hi Experts,
I am facing one problem during Usage decision in QA32 TRANSACTION,
After saving the Usage decision , the system saying that +'Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30'+,
due to that i am unable to save the usage decision so that goods are not moving from Quality block to unrestricted stocks,
Inception type is 1 in QM set up view, Inspection type 03 is extra added which is not required for this material, is it causing any problem ?.
I have tried to remove this 03 Inspection type but system not allowing as there are stocks exists,
Work scheduling and Gen Plant 1/2 storage view also activated by mistakenly for this material, in these views Serial profile is assigned, which is not there for previous plant ( Rolled out to new plant), now the problem is with new plant material inspection lots, not for all, few of the lots are creating the problem(Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30)
I have tried to send the material return to Vendor from Quality block but not success in that,
Can I deactivate views,
Can problem be solved If i remove the Serial number profile
Can I delete inspection type 03 from the material master QM set up view
Can anybody suggest how to trouble shoot the problem

First check whether serial numbers are attached to the inspection lot or not.
Please check the configuration of the serial number profile in transaction code OIS2.
Yes problem can be solved by Turn off serial number profile

Creation of Recurring Inspection Lots with Serial numbers

We have the following scenario at our client :
MIGO_GR is used to create GR for materials with Serial number requirement. The serial numbers can be generated automatically or manually entered on the screen. At this point of time, the Shelf Life expiry date & Next Inspection date are calculated based upon the Production date. The Batch gets created with Next Inspection date, Inspection Lots are created and the Serial numbers are assigned by the system. The stock moves into QI.
The stock is moved from Quality restricted to Unrestricted stock via QA11. The serial numbers are handled by the system or can be managed on screen.
Transaction QA07 (Deadline Monitoring of Batches) is used to create Recurring Inspection. QA07 gives error message IO304 that "Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 1". The problem is that system doesn't pick up the corresponding serial numbers.
OSS # 497845 mentions that Transaction QA07 can not handle serial number. The serial numbers are very critical to the business process.
Has anyone come across this situation before ? Please suggest solution or workaround. I tried using BAdI "INSPECTIONLOT_UPDATE" & was able to create Inspection Lots with serial number assignment, also manipulated Batch to change the Next Inspection date. The problem is Material Movement (322) Document does NOT get created.
Also tried implementing BAdI as per OSS # 608830 but doesn't give desired results.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Serial Numbers for Raw Materials

Hello All,
We are not using serial numbers at the moment, but we would like to assign a serial number to each material that enters the warehouse. So not on finished goods, but on raw materials. If we for instance order 10 boxes of a material, we would like to create 10 different serial numbers for these boxes (in MIGO).
Batch management is not the solution, since the 10 boxes would receive the same number, whereas we want a unique number per box.
Is this possible?

We already have storage unit types, one of them is "Box". So in the warehouse mgmt 2 tab, an entry has been made which looks like:
LE quantity Un Sut
1. 100 Ea Box
This works nicely when goods are putaway: the system suggests that if there are 1000 materials ready for putaway, 10 boxes are delivered and thus 10 storage bins are required.
The only thing that fails is that there will be 1000 serial numbers generated, instead of 10. Handling Unit management is no option, because that brings a lot of workload with packing and unpacking goods. Changing the base unit of measure to box is not an option, since a box is no unit of measure.

Serial Numbers in QA11 Record Usage Decision

Hi all,
We are using the serial numbers scenario in goods receipt. The user has to enter the serial numbers of the equipment/devices at the time of preparing goods receipt in MIGO_GR against a purchase order. An Inspection Lot is generated after posting the goods receipt. The has to prepare the GR approx 5000 nos. of material in each goods receipt.
Usage Decision has to be recorded for all these 5000 serial numbers in a particular inspection lot. Once we run the Tcode : QA11 and enter the quantity to be posted to blocked stock as 5000 and click on the save icon.
The system throw a screen for selection of serial numbers for which the usage decision is to be recorded. On this screen, all the 5000 serial numbers entered in the inspection lot should be available for selection. But the system sometimes shown only 5, sometimes it shows 2500, sometimes 1000 nos. for selection.
Please suggest if this might be due to some configuration problem or due to constraint of memory in the lock table in SM12. We are facing the same problem while processing the goods receipt for 5000 nos. through a BAPI.

Thanks for your immediate response. You have perfectly understood my problem. The following are the clarifications for your queries :-
Point No. 01 : We are posting the entire quantity (5000 nos.) to blocked stock. We enter 5000 in the To Blocked Stock field of Inspection Lot quantity Tab of the Inspection Lot. After entering the quantity we click on the Save button to post the Usage Decision. A pop of the serial numbers for select is given after clicking on the Save button. The serial number pop up is given if we try to process the usage decision for full quantity of 5000 nos. But sometimes if we put a smaller quantity say 20 nos. then the popup is not given and the usage decision is successfully posted for 20 nos. So the system behaves very randomly.
Point No. 02 : The serial numbers displayed for the selection is also random say sometimes 13/5000, 2500/5000, 0/5000.
Point No. 03 : I have checked the SER03 and OBJK tables and all the 5000 serial numbers are allocated to the material document.
We already have escalated to SAP, but do you feel there is some configuration issue for the same. Please give your valuable suggest.

Hi Mr. Rao,
Looks like your material configure in that way, it requires 5 serial number.
You do one thing --> Go to IQ04 --> Give your maerial number --> Then in the field "No. serial numbers" give the figure how many serial number you want --> Like one you have already created --> Give 4 in the field "No. serial numbers" --> Enter
If your serial number require equipment view also --> then click at "View selection" --> Click at equipment --> Enter --> Save
After that go to delivery and assign your serial number to your materials.

Get Serial numbers when saving a good receipt in MIGO

I am working on a requirement to get the serial numbers entered manually or automatically while posting a goods receipt in tcode MIGO.
I have tried to use the some of the steps suggested in earlier threads..ie, using the FM GET_SERNOS_OF_DOCUMENT' within the BADI MB_DOCUMENT_BADI~MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE. But the FM returns NO_DATA_FOUND exception. The BADI MB_MIGO_BADI is not trieggered during the save..
Can you suggest a way to get the serial numbers entered on the screen or generated automatically..

i give stock posting to unrestricted, block , return delivery etc and save a pop up will come for each of the posting asking for serial numbers
then i selected all serial nos.(i have 2 serial nos,out of 2 ,one accpted ,one rejected) then system shows thefollowing message
Exactly 1 serial numbers must be selected (instead of 2)
Message no. IO212
Diagnosis
You or another user have entered an incorrect number of serial numbers.
The maximum number of serial numbers may equal the amount of document items. If there is a serial number obligation, this must equal the document quantity.
System Response
The system cannot perform the function.
Procedure
Delete the serial numbers or add further serial numbers.
How to do UD for this serial nos(i tried both the ways i.e selected one at at time also i tried both at a time,but system showing above message)

As per my understanding you have 2 SR numbers.
Now you want to perform the multiple stock posting like ,to unrestricted or RD or block stock.
What you can do is when you get serial number pop up,
Suppose there its is saying block stock then select the serial numbers which you don't want to put in to block stock.
now delete all the serial numbers which you have selected in such a way that only the serial number which you want to put into block stock will remain ,then select the same & continue...
Now say you want to do RD of serial number system will propose you all serial number (excluding you have put into block stock)
select and delete irrelevant SR numbers & continue.
Now last will be unrestricted which will be rest of the numbers ....system will put this automatically.

You cannot "access it" at all using a serial number.
Please explain what you are attempting.

Flex Builder serial numbers : how to enter them?

you bought the upgrade version meaning you have a previously purchased lightroom. after entering your lr5 serial number you're being prompted for that previous version's serial number.
enter the correct number at the correct time and installation will proceed.

Over the years we have owned many i-pods. Most of them ran out of juice or were just outdated some even stolen. As of right now I have one i-pod that should be authorized to download music from my library. I plan to get a new one. Are the contact details in your contacts app, the phone app uses the contact app to put names against telephone numbers.

I am able to open up the organizer without problems, but when I try to open up the photo editor (either by trying to open up the program from the main menu, or right-clicking on a photo in the organizer to edit in elements), the program asks me to sign in to adobe (which I can do and it doesn't give an an "incorrect password" or log-in ID error) then accept the terms and conditions. When I click to accept the terms and conditions, nothing happens and the editor fails to open. Everytime I click on the program, I get this same "loop" of signing in and accepting T&C's, but the program fails to open. Any advice?

Premiere Elements 10 is now 64 bit, but not PSE10.
Take a look at your scratch disk set-up and if you have a spare volume, allocate that first before the C drive. Elements use scratch disks when it gets low on RAM.
