Only 1 page prints!!!

Upgraded from an airport extreme to an extreme n (you know the square one) on my home network. I now have 2 express units and a extreme (saucer type) on a WDS betwork that I have made WPA protected (this is a change I just made...could it be the problem?) So before getting the square my printing worked fine with a Brother 2040 laser printer hooked up via USB and accessable to all the cmputers in the house. Since installling the square I have only been able to print the first page of any of my documents! Multiple copise of a one page document? prints jut one page. the printer works fine off of the network and hooked up to the MacBook via usb. Troed deleting the printer from the list and readding it. Tried restarting the extreme, the printer... tried most everything I could imagine except going back to having the flying saucer be the main router... I did have WEP before,,, now it is WPA... any suggestions? Running 10.4.10

Well the solution worked for a time, but now back to square one...Problem seems to be since I upgraded to an airport square. The printer will print two pages or more if the only thing on the page is one word or so, but when I print a multiple page document that has lots of text it prints the first page, green light starts blinking on the printer and second page... stays in the printer. Press the green light and the second page comes out, but only top few lines. Seems almost like a memory issue...8 MB memory, not upgradable...must be a software issue since it worked with my previous wireless network, and also works with my Dell laptop.
Here is what I will try next...reinstalling brother driver from the CD, new usb cable, getting rid of WPA security, any other thoughts??

Ah, I see want you mean. This might not be practical for you, but if you select one instance of the highlighted text and add a [space] to the little sticky note, all of the highlighted text on that page will appear in the summary.

If I print a web page, either just print or save as PDF, only the first page prints well. Page 2 is offset to the right such that the information is cut off at the right edge. Information is lost at the page break, several lines of text will be lost. If I need to print a page, I open Safari, which does a very nice job of formating the page for print. But I want to use FireFox. Can you help me?

  • Mac with Lion OX, in print preview with PDF, only page 1 comes correctly, the rest misses some portion rest not

I have iMac desktop with Lion OS. I am using Firefox 6 web browser. Previously with Snowleopard OS I did not have any problems with printing, With Lion OS print commands have changed and when I click preview in PDF format for printing a web page, only page 1 of the document shows correctly. In second page, the text does not show all of the document and few lines at the boundary is missing and the font is different from page 1. I tried using Google Chrome browser and this does not have this problem. If I do not find a solution I may be forced to move to Google Chrome. I will really appreciate a response. Thanks.

Why not reconstruct the pages in InDesign they way you want the double pages to appear. There may even be an imposition script available that will do the trick. You could then output to pdf all the pages you want the full spread on. Leave the original to create the pages you wanted left as is.
You can ask in the ID forum about an imposition script. I know there was one with CS4, there may have been one with CS3.

  • Only page 1 prints well. Page 2 is offset to the right and information is lost at the page break. FireFox 8 and 9, Mac OS 10.5.8

This is very similar to a previous post with a later version of OS X, but the fix that worked for the original poster does not work for me.
Mac OS 10.5.8 FireFox 8 and 9. If I print a web page, either just print or save as PDF, only the first page prints well. Page 2 is offset to the right such that the information is cut off at the right edge. Information is lost at the page break, several lines of text will be lost.
I use several add-ons for work that are only on Firefox, so using another browser doesn't help much.

Somebody had a similar problem and was advised to start in safe mode or create a new profile. (Here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/906274?s=firefox+print+first+page&r=2&e=sph&as=s). Starting in safe mode disabling all add-ons does not fix the problem for me. When I try to follow the instructions here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles) to start the profile manager, Terminal gives me an error message after I enter the line of text: "The application firefox-bin quit unexpectedly." I have tried it with and without the "-bin" (the error message is the same - just with or without the "-bin"), with a capital or lower case P at the end. Nothing works. Please help.

  • Safari 7.0.6, using Adobe Acrobat 11.0.10, aren't rendering pdf files in the Print Preview screen.  Additionally, only a single, blank page prints for a multi-page pdf document.  Any ideas?

Safari 7.0.6, using Adobe Acrobat 11.0.10, isn't rendering pdf files in the Print Preview screen.  Additionally, only a single, blank page prints for a multi-page pdf document.  Any ideas?

Figured it out.  It had nothing to do with the software levels of Safari or Adobe Acrobat.  Here's the fix:
    Open Finder/Applications
    Search "Internet Plug-Ins"
Move any Adobe plug-ins to the trash
    Quit Safari
    Launch Safari
Your pdf document should now render in Print Preview and print properly.

  • Multiple pages in SP01 (spool) but only last page printed to printer.

    Dear Experts,
Here is a strange situation. I have 28 pages in one spool request, but when I print it out, only the last page printed out... Where are the 27 pages? Even though I use printing setting (From page 1 to page 28), it still printed last page only...
Can any one teach me how to solve this problem?
    Thank you!

I believe there are other options out there for around that price but there's none I can personally recommend. Plus, if you DO find something that looks right, you'll want to check to see if tiling is available.
Keep in mind that Reader is made more for document sharing than it is for things like oversize prints. That's why they've probably never bothered to add tiling.
    Good luck.

  • When printing from websites, only first page prints correctly. Rest of pages lose about one quarter of the page on the right side.

Starting with the 2nd page, the pages are expanded and the whole right side of the page is gone. This only seems to happen on my Mac. I run Firefox on my PC and it prints correctly. At first I thought it was a problem with certain websites, but it always happens when I try to print out more than one page.

The 2nd page print scaling error has been an issue with Firefox on the Mac since 2011. People at Mozilla have not considered this a major problem. Try printing anything at less than 100% and you'll quickly see how every page after the first page being scaled wrong gets old real fast. The lack of a solution to this issue forced me long ago into using Safari as my primary browser. Good luck waiting until version 21 for a solution. Current release is 18.0.2.

HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN I PRINT A WEB PAGE WHICH IS MORE THAT ONE PAGE LONG. ONLY THE FIRST PAGE PRINTS TO SCALE...THE REMAINING PAGES PRINT OFF THE PAGE????HELP-IT IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH SAFARI??

Thank you for the response. I tried to fix the problem with some of the suggestions on that page, but none seem to work. I believe that is the only website that I'm having that problem on. I got to fooling with it a bit more and when I highlight the whole page and select to print the selected area, it actually prints the whole page then, but it won't do it as a default. I guess I can just do it like that from now on, but I thought there would be something in the settings that I could have changed. Thanks again for the help.

  • From the command line, print only page 2 and 3?

What is the syntax for the command line, for print ONLY page nr° 2 and nr°3 of a pdf file, skipping page nr°1?

  • Web page Print Save as PDF--only first page formatted correctly

    Hello,
Whenever I try to save a web page as a PDF file, the first page formats nicely, but the subsequent pages print with bigger font and the text runs off the right-side edge of the page.  If I print just page 2, then page 2 prints nicely.  I can later use Acrobat Pro to stitch the PDF together page by page, but that is a pain.  I have played around with various page set up settings to no avail.  I'm using Firefox 18.0.1 and Mac OS 10.8.2.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Beth

The PDF add-on that seems to work is PDF Download 3.0.0.1 from Apple's website. It seems to process webpages via a website to PDF. A sample webpage is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clandestine_HUMINT. However, I've run into the same problem on others that seem to create long (many page) PDF files. I also tried it with CUPS-PDF 2.4.6 with the same problem. I believe the CUPS-PDF application uses the same CUPS standard built into OSX?
Anyway, please bear with me. I am not kidding about being fairly new to this whole Mac thing. How do I find the crash log?
Is it this (from the CUPS error log)?

  • How to have only single pages printed from iphoto book

I would like to know if it is possible to have pages printed from an iphoto book that is not bound.  I just want the loose pages to create an ongoing scrapbook not an already bound book.  Is this possible?

If you print yourself one way to do it is to start to print the whole book by typing Command+P.  Then in the print window select either All, Single or Range and then put in the page numbers you want to print. Then click on the PDF button and select Save PDF to iPhoto from the drop down menu.
Screenshot from iPhoto 11 in Lion - Click to view full size
This will create a 200 dpi jpg file for the page and import it into iPhoto.  From there you can print it yourself or have a local photofinisher print it on whatever stock you'd like.

    Hello.
I've got the following issue with my hp officejet pro 8000 A809. After reinstalling the printhead, the allignment caanot be done succesfully, it stops just at the beginning:
By the way, the print quality is pretty good, but the printer forces me to allign the printheads each time.
The whole procedure described in the article [HP Officejet Pro 8000 - Alignment Page Printed Before Every Print Job] has been done.
What else can I do in this matter?

  • Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ?

Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ? iPad only prints 4x6 on full size paper. It's an HP 8600.

I also have this problem printing photos from an iPad to an Epson WF-2540 printer. It prints only 4x6 and without border (so print starts at extreme top left corner of paper). Borderless printing is not selected on printer. Printing a square photo just crops to 4x6 size.
