Only 4 purchases can be copied to my new device
In my Apple ID purchaes history I can see all the apps I purchased. But only 4 last apps are avilable for download. I have them all on my old iPhone but want to copy them to my new iPhone. What do I do?
Minimal info makes it hard to answer. It doesn't seem (hard to tell from your post) that WHERE you got the music is the problem. Plug it in, open iTunes, select it, and see how much space is available. If there's a lot left, then do a Restore and see if it helps. Add as couple of albums worth of music to
iTunes and see if you can also import them to the iPhone. Is it an arbitrary NUMBER, is it SPACE, is it PURCHASED vs. NON-PURCHASED music?

What in the world is wrong when my purchased songs cannot be added to my iphone? It seems random because many of them were transfered/synced but now some just won't sync. Why in the world would anyone want to remove all existing music just to sync the music? How would I compare what is on my phone from what is on my macbook itunes to see what might be lost? How do I get it to sync?

iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPad “Fernando Velazquez Ipad” because no songs in the playlist “Purchased” can be copied to this iPad.
That usually means your phone was previously sync to a different iTunes media library.

You can set it up to backup to iCloud. Once you've done this you can back it up to iTunes on your computer manually, so technically, yes. You can back it up to both.

If you have backed up a device to both, then you can restore either one. Restoring completely overwrites the contents of the phone, so if you restore it from iCloud, then restore it from iTunes, the data you restored from iCloud will be wiped from the phone and replaced with the data you restored from iTunes. The only way to initiate a restore from iCloud is to wipe the phone and start the iCloud restore from the setup wizard...
Now, maybe you'd like to re-state your question so that you get the answer you're actually looking for instead of answers that correctly address what you asked, but do not address what you meant to ask. -

My phone will not turn on, therefore I have received a replacement phone but am wanting to reset my old device. It is not locating it because it says it is offline however I cannot turn it on at all. That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

This is probably happening because you have made a copy of the VI without changing the name/ location on the disc. I have saved a copy of the VI for you, it is in LabVIEW 2010 SP1, please ask if you want this in a previous version.

Running the latest version and most current update of snow leopard. Have 250 GB on computer. Have Intel core I7 2.66 Ghz processor. My computer is about 2 yrs. old. So processor and memory are not an issue. I want to upgrade to Lion, but cannot do this because I cannot access Mac App Store. I have backed up computer on external hard drive, and I have no music or pictures on my computer now. I have I-Life, Windows for Mac, I-tunes, Pandora, Plants vs. Zombies, and that is all for additional software on here. I have had problems with the app store since it was launched! Apple is suppose to be superior! At 2 plusk, I would expect it to be, but so far, it has been inferior! It is definately NOT user friendly. At least the computer end and software is not. It has been a pain dealing with the app store, trying to watch webcast on here, always having to download an extra plugin only to find that it isn't compatible! PLEASE MAC, for 2,000 dollars...REALLy?!

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

Can't copy files to new 2TB TC
I recently setup a new 2TB TC to replace an existing Airport Extreme. My wireless network appears to be working properly. The TC is visible in Finder as a shared device on my MacBook Pro; however, it won't allow me to copy files to it. File sharing is enabled, but I keep getting a message that "Modifying my TC requires an administrator name password. It asks me to click "Authenticate," but no such option appears. Help!
Click on the Time Capsule icon under the SHARED heading in the Finder
Look to the right for a folder named "Data" (unless you have renamed the drive)
Double Click on Data to mount the Time Capsule drive on the desktop
The first time that you do this, you may be asked for the Time Capsule device password
Once the icon is mounted on the desktop, you can drag/drop files onto the icon, or double click the Data icon and drag/drop files into the open window representing the drive -
i cannot copy my songs in my itunes library and have them stored on my iphone. It keeps telling ,me that I can access music in icloud. Songs can be downloaded and played via wifi or a cellular network. I want to copy all them back to my phone without haveing to go on phone and download each from icloud again. Help
Unless as part of a backup, or stored somewhere else, they are gone.
Your son needs his own Apple ID for iCloud, FaceTime & iMessage. He can continue to use yours for iTunes content, but for everything else, he needs his own.
When you did what you did, as far as iCloud knows, this is the same person with multiple devices, and that's they way things are supposed to work: keep everything in sync. -

Why is it I can't just buy the new iPhone without needing an upgrade?
This has been the most bizarre experience I have ever encountered, and it's enough to put me off Verizon and Apple altogether.
Yesterday, I went to pick up the new iPhone for myself and my wife, having gotten and email that we were eligible for the Early EDGE upgrade. I'm first told at the store that Apple is only allowing 1 phone per person to be sold... Ok, fine. So I get inside and, being the decent gentleman I am, opt to upgrade my wife's line first and will just do mine later that day. Upgrade for her goes smooth, now it's time to do mine. Oh, wait, apparently the EDGE upgrade can be applied to one line, and it was just my wife's; a detail that was cleverly hidden at the bottom of the email in black on grey text after all the marketing copy about how great the new edge program is. The Verizon rep tries to think of ways to get me the phone cheaper, but ultimately can't. I ask if I can just buy the phone at cost, and I'm told no because it doesn't go on sale to the general public until later, though no time is given. Again, Apple's rules.
Now, I'm pretty sure Apple could care less about exactly when someone buys their phone if they have the cash to do so, and I'm doubly sure they don't care about making sure those with upgrades can get the phone. All of this is starting to sound a little iffy. Whatever, I let it slide.
It is now 6pm, still yesterday, and we head into Best Buy to look at cases and see if they have a display 6 Plus to check out, as I'm curious about the size. I ask a Best Buy rep if they have any iPhone 6s left; they do; 128gbs? Yup. Silver??? Yup. VERIZON???? Yup. I'LL TAKE IT! One iPhone 6 at full price please! Oh, wait, no; Apple boogie man says I can't buy the phone for full price, I have to have to qualify for an upgrade. (I'm getting more and more ****** as I'm typing this, FYI). Ok, so now clearly something is amiss. 2 different locations- the official Verizon Store AND Best Buy are telling me I can't buy the phone without an upgrade, and both of them suggesting Early EDGE, even though I have the cash to just buy it. I tweet my frustration to both VerizonWireless and Apple. AC from Verizon Support tweets back sayings they should have let me buy it... Wow, this is ridiculous.
Can someone please clarify this: who is correct here? Is it really Apple playing gate keeper and looking out for those upgrade-only customers? Why is it 2 different places told me the same thing, yet the support rep is telling me something different?
At this point I'm just not going to both attempting to get the phone for a while since this has put me off even trying, but some clarity on just what is going on would be nice. Also, please talk to your Director of Customer Loyalty about his team's email design. While I'm fine with finding out it was just one line, (though I would have preferred both since my wife and I have been on the same account since it opened...), burying that information at the bottom of the email is not going to help retain customers. Expiration dates and other terms of service are fine there, but which line the upgrade applies to needs to be surfaced sooner.It sounds as if you only had one line with an upgrade available. So you can only upgrade one line. For you to upgrade as well, you will have to wait until your upgrade is available. You can check that at MyVerizon. That's just how it works. All carriers and phone brands are the same. I have to wait until February to upgrade. The only thing you can do to get the new iPhone, is add a new line. But then you're paying for a line you don't need.

Can't install Lightroom (4.2) on Windows 7
Hi, I've just bought Lightroom (4.2), however when I try to install it via the msi it claims to be extracting the msi files for the 64bit version, then does nothing. The window vanishes and the install just appears to stop. My machine prevsiouly had
