Only "average" Experience Index for new fully loaded T430s?
I have a new t430s. Windows 7 64 bit, Intel i7, 16 Gigs Crucial Ram, 256GB mSATA for O/S & applications, 6300 Wifi, Intel HD4000 + Nvidia NVS 5200M. I ran Windows "Experience Index" to rate my computer. With no real applications installed, I only rated a 6.6. Processor: 7.2, Memory: 7.6, Graphics: 6.6, Gaming Graphics 6.6: Primary Hard Disk: 7.8.
I'm suprised that my Processor and Graphics rated relatively poorly.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my new set up (cost a pretty $). 16 GB RAM was overkill and in retrospect should have gotten 8 GB. And I changed my mind about Nvidia (I'm not a gamer) but kept it anyway sine Lenovo customer service was making it quite painful to make alternations to my computer after order.
That said, 6.6 is kind of disappointing. Why did my graphics and processor score so low? I have the BEST processor at time of purchase.. 7.2 ain't to trifle at, but out of 7.9 i only scored a 7.2 with the latest/greatest? Can a laptop not score a 7.9?
I'm happy the primary disk (mSATA) and memory (crucial 16GB) scored near-perfect scores, however.

It is optimum for T430s to have such WEI results. In fact, an overall of 6.6 is considered high, ranging from 1.0 - 7.9. If you want a full 7.9 WEI, you should consider other high end gaming laptops with quad core i7, GTX / Quadro (not NVS) processor which is usually thick, heavy and have less battery life.
If I am not wrong, you change to two 8GB DDR3-1333 DIMM so your memory score is 7.6. If you change it to two 4 / 8GB DDR3-1600 DIMM, your memory score will go up to 7.8. By default, it comes with 1600MHz memory for ##30 series ThinkPad.
With T430s, you could at most get an dual core i7 and subrange NVS card due to it's thinness and cooling limitation.

Streaming question for new upgrade - loading library
It appears that with the new version, if I'm streaming, and if I go out of music to check or change settings, or do some other function, that when I go back to listening I have to load the library and wait for it. This is new, right? and a pain.
It's true. I ended up switching to syncing just a small portion of my library. I've found when I do this, it doesn't try to load the library each time, but all the un-sync'd items are still available in atv for streaming.
This is not a great upgrade, in my opinion. Lots of strange stuff - like if you do set up true streaming all your media ends up in the menu item "shared..". The way Apple locks down atv to the local network, wouldn't all shared media be "my" media? Why separate out the My stuff from the Shared stuff? Simplified User Experience is not a phrase I'd use to describe the 2.0 upgrade. -
Moving Average Price Determination for new stock in project

We have following scenario in our project. One plant is shut down ( say plant A ) and a new plant (plant B) will come up to replace the older one. So we are transferring the materials present in A to B. We have extended the materials to B and maintained same MAP. Then we are doing goods issue in plant A (mb1a ) and goods receipts in plant B ( mb1c - movement type 501). But the account document shown for mb1c is not picking up correct MAP.
Please note: Plant A nad plant B are in different company code.
Could you please explain how is MAP determined in case of GR done thorugh MB1C and please suggest if the process we followed is correct ?

have new computer, had to reload itunes, a bit different than in my old computer. lost songs. they are in my ipod. downloaded a cd and unable to sync it with
my ipod nano i believe 2nd generation. it shows my ipod but nowhere to download to it.The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
I has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use this to put everything back.
Certainly you did not reinstall everything without making sure your backup copy was up to date. -

As a package maintainer, I use a program to watch websites for changes to check for new versions.
Sometimes watching only the git repo for new tags is sufficient and is better in some ways. (no need to filter output, uses less bandwidth, less false positives)
I couldn't find a tool that did it, so I wrote my own.

Automatically checking for new mail in IMAP folders.
Here is my relatively simple issue with Mail.
I use an IMAP email provider called Fastmail and use their server-side rules to automatically direct incoming emails into separate IMAP subfolders.
My question is when Mail polls for new mail; it only seems to poll for new mail messages in the main Inbox but not in any of the sub folders. I then have to manually click on each of the other IMAP folders to see if they have received new mail messages.
I am recent convert from Windows and can confirm that I did not have this problem when using MS Outlook.

Yes, this is a problem I've had with Mail.app from day one. The closest thing that I have come across as a solution is a to write an AppleScript script to convince Mail.app to check all of my folders. However, this is far from an optimal solution for many obvious reasons. I can only hope that Apple will fix this in the future, but it's been a few years with no solution in sight yet.

A1281 is the battery i got for my 15inch MBP. Is the battery life only 2 - 3 hours for a new battery on this device.
This is from Apple.
2 to 3 hours seems very low.
what is teh standard or advertised spec for a 15 inch Macbook Pro with this battery.
I would like to know so that i can return it if this is not normal.
Its expensive so comments would be appreciated.I say it depends on your model? average usage is about 3-4 hours depending on what you use and how you use it. Adobe Flash player eats a lot of battery power so if you are on a web page and has flash player, likely that it's eating up battery because of it's power thirsty.
Also check your systems activity monitor. It could be possible that one of your program/apps did not close right and may be still running. So check for that and end the process if necessary.
If you have a backlight keyboard, in a broad daylight, it's not necessary to have it on.
I also suggest that you use it plugged in most of the time, and it's not going to hurt or damage the battery if you have it plugged in all the time. Only use on battery if you are going to places that has no access to the outlet. If you are at home, then keep it plugged in. Just keep in mind to fully drain the battery until it your MBP turns off on it's own. This is the calibration process so that you have the most accurate battery readings.
The standard for 2011 MBP is 7 hours on battery. Before that model is 10 hours, but i don't believe that previous models will last 10 hours. Last week I calibrated my battery readings from fully charged and it took 9 hours to completely drain out the battery (I have a 2011 model),
If you think it's not normal and that your battery doesn't meet your expectation then set up an appointment with the genius bar and have them test the battery. They will determine whether it is faulty or not. -
Some news web sites will not fully load. MSNBC will only show the head line and advertisers. CNN and Fox show a text only version with very limited pictures and the same for . Durdge report loads fully as will the Chicago Trib. seems like only certain news sites are subject to this partial display. have not seen this on commercial sites.

After installing Roboform 2.0.0;
Starting Firefox started to take too much time.
When i open a new tab, until the tab is fully loaded and Roboform realizes which website it is, Firefox does not respond.
When i tell Roboform to fill the username and password fields in a tab, until Roboform submits Firefox does not respond.
I mean, as if Roboform is not working background and Firefox cannot work multithread because of it. When i navigate from one tab to another, Roboform is also checking the tab and meanwhile Firefox is waiting for Roboform to finish its work.

Hi - I connected my superdrive but it does not seem to be working - now all I get is a black screen with the prompt - no bootable device; insert boot disk and press any key.
Any thoughts on this? I put an ISO image on my desktop and also created an image on a USB drive - however it has encryption software on it which did not get overwritten so Im not sure if this is why that won't boot.

Regards.I'm not very familiar with CRM business partners, but the common way - to include the repository where the documents are stored to the KM using [CM Repository managers|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/923227b24e11d5993800508b6b8b11/frameset.htm].
You need first to create a repository manager for you repository and only then you'll be able to create an index.
