websites seem to load but all i get is a blank page

It only happens with certain websites. It appears to be a Firefox issue, since I was able to paste the same URL into an Internet Exploder window and it worked just fine.

Hi,
I understand that you are getting a blank page while trying to copy.
Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall jack and not a surge protector. If this fails to resolve the issue please follow the steps from the link below.

A blank page comes up when trying to download the .torrent file(s). Previously it was working.

Using firefox browser v.4.0.1, a blank page comes up when trying to download the .torrent file(s). Previously it was working. When the "Download" button was pressed, it used to ask for the location where the .torrent files is to be saved. But now on pressing the "Download" button, a blank page comes up.I do not know when the firefox browser was updated to 4.0.1. (as it is configured to automatically update itself). I tried to see the debugging information in "Java Console", "Error Console", "Web Console", "Page Info" under the Tools option, but I can't make sense out of it. Kindly help.

If you remove the mimeTypes.rdf file then all current download actions should be removed and Firefox should ask what to do. 
You can still check if there is an action for such files in Tools > Options > Applications

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

A blank page comes up when I sign out of yahoo or try to bookmark a page.

When I sign out of my yahoo account a blank page comes up so I have to shut down firefox and reopen. It does this when I try to bookmark a opage as well.

"Save As" page comes up when I try printing from Firefox

When I use my Verizon DSL and Firefox (this doesn't happen if I use Int. Explorer) and I wish to print internet info, I do a Ctl. P to print. Instead of printing, I receive a "Save As" page that I cannot stop from appearing. The page includes: "Save As" at the top with a box for saving to (Ex.: documents), then has a listing across of "Name," "Date Modified," "Type," "Size," and "Tags" across the top. Then a listing of items such as Games, My Stationery, New Folder, Sansa, Updater. Then at the bottom there is a listing for "File Name" with a box for the name. Then under that a "save As Type" (PDF). Then a save or cancel button.

I can not print anything from Firefox but on IE everything prints just fine. I happen to like Firefox a whole lot better so would appreciate a solution to my problem.

A program called "tudosearch" interferes with my Firefox - it always comes up when I try to open Firefox or if Firefox tries to call up another program. I can not find a way to get rid of it.

When I try to open Firefox, a window comes up saying that Firefox can not run Tudosearch. I then have to exit this window before I can go on. It also comes up when I try to go to another website while in
Firefox. I can not find the program "Tudosearch" on my computer therefore I can not remove it. Any suggestions?

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

This is probably one of the files that is required by the template you are using.
These files are inside the iWeb app. Control click the iWeb app icon and select "Show package contents".
You need to dig down through the folders and files to find what you want...

If the file is missing you would need to re install the iWeb app...

The background photo is on top of the links. Select it and move it to the back or add the background image via the Inspector/Page/Layout pane in the Page Background section.

Office 2008 produces only blank page when opening files

Under Lion, Microsoft Office 2008 products -- specifically Word and Excel -- will produce only "blank" pages when I open files I saved before I upgraded to Lion. These are valid files which will open using Windows, or even using Preview.
I put "blank" in quotes because the content is still there. It is displayed, however, using the background color --- no matter what I set the foreground text color to, or highlight the background, it will never display my text! So the default seems to be white text on a white background. Setting the foreground text color to red or blue will have no effect; it will still be white.
A workaround I'm currently using is to open the files in TextEdit, "Select All", copy & then paste into a new Word document, but the formatting doesn't always carry over.
I posted a message on a Microsoft site and they said (go figure) "it's an Apple problem, not a problem with the software."
Anyone else having this problem?
How/when can it be fixed?

I saw another post regarding font mismatches and I've learned that that is the problem in this case!
If I open any of the documents I was having trouble with, do select-all, and then change the FONT (not the style, not the color) -- e.g. to Times, or Times New Roman -- suddenly all my text appears!

Your plugins list shows that you have the Mozilla ActiveX plugin installed. 
The Mozilla ActiveX plugin is not compatible with Firefox 2 and 3 and you should remove it.

HP 6510 printing only blank pages after changing print cartridges

Hi,
My HP 6510 is printing only blank pages after I installed new print ink cartridges. I tried cleaning the print heads, aligning the printer... which did result in some pages printing with a little color (but it seemed "off" to me). That said, when I try to print a regular document from my PC it only prints a blank page.
I can't seem to figure this one out on my own - please help!

The document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart 6510. Be sure the cartridges are vented as shown in solution two.
Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.

My Photosmart C4780 all in one printer which is connected by USB to my MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 prints only blank pages, and no text; I have turned it on and off; disconnected and reconnected; uninstalled the HP software and reloaded and updated drivers, firmware and patches. The scan function works and scans the document to my Mac. The copy function also does not work; when I press the OK function next to the copy icon, nothing happens

I will be happy to assist you with this.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or
software issue. Click Here.
