"Only Get Delta Once" - How to use this correctly?

Hi folks,
we are currently facing the following situation:
We have a data source only being able to deliver full update.
That's why we proceed as follows:
1.) Full-Load with Infopackage to PSA
2.) Delta-Load with DTP from PSA to first-level-DSO (write-optimized)
3.) Delta-Load with DTP from first-level-DSO to second-level-DSO (standard-DSO). As the activation aggregates all duplicate entries, we are therefore able to deliver a delta to all following data targets (e.g. infocubes)
What we are now wondering about how to use the flag "Only Get Delta Once" which is available in all Delta-DTPs. The help explains it should be used when creating snapshot-scenarios like ours as each request is only delivered once, even if it gets deleted in the data target.
But what other benefit would we have when setting this flag? As I mentioned, the snapshot-scenario also works without this flag...
Could anyone perhaps provide me some more details about this flag and where it should be used?

Hi,
If you select the option 'Only get delta once', then every request in the PSA will only be loaded into the Data target once. For example. If you load a full request into the PSA through an InfoPackage and then load it to the Cube. In a snapshot scenario, when the new full load comes to the PSA you will need to delete the previous request from the cube before loading the new request.
But if you delete the previous request from the cube, and not from the PSA - and if you haven't checked the 'Only get delta once' flag, when you execute the DTP, it will load both previous and the new requests from the PSA to the cube. In order to avoid this you have 2 options:
1. You can delete a request from the PSA after every successful load into the Cube OR
2. You can check the 'Only get delta once' flag in the DTP so that it won't load any request it has loaded into the cubes previously even if it was deleted from the cube.
Using the second option de-couples the PSA maintenance from your regular data loading and also saves you an additional step of deleting the PSA request in your process chain.

I have checked some messages and blogs, but could not find any solution for deleted records in source system.
My source system is not able to delivere delta for my table of interest. So I checked "Only Get Delta Once" in my DTP and made some tests.
It works very well for changes of existing records of the source table.
But, SAP help on this features wirtes:
...If this is not logically possible because, for example, data is deleted in the source without delivering reverse records, you can set this indicator and perform ...
I checked this feature by selecting less data from source at the second load from the same table. But recordmode does not get an deletion flag for the now missing records. So, the indicator "Only Get Delta Once" does not work like BI standard delta mechanism?
What is wrong?

we are testing the new BI7 system and the DTP process and while checking for the different options in the DTP we came across the Check box option " Get delta once " option while we went through the F1 help but not of any use , please through light on how and when this option is used.

Sorry to say you are out of luck.
The serial numbers came on the cd case. If they are no longer there, you have no way of using the program except as a 30 day trial. Adobe does not sell CS5 licenses any more.

GSX, if you're referring to Apple's service by that name, is available only to employees of Apple-authorized service providers or self-servicing accounts. Unless you are employed by such an organization, you cannot access GSX. If you are employed by such an organization, they should set you up and give you the appropriate login information.
If you are interested in becoming a certified Apple hardware technician, you can find information here:

Please note, though, that certification does not in and of itself give you access to any of the Apple resouces for support organizations; diagnostic tools, parts ordering, etc. You again must be employed by an authorized Apple support provider before you can gain such access.

Missed get delta once option in dtp and transported to prod

hi all
we have transported DTP for our infocube 0wbs_c11 into production.
This infocube 0wbs_c11 is loaded from 4 datasources of which one datasource supports delta and rest donot.
so in process chains we are using the option for delete overlapping requests. for all the 3 datasources which doesnot support delta.
But for one of these 3 datasources we have transported DTP without ticking GET DELTA ONCE OPTION AND loaded to infocube.
now we should tick the get delta once option and transport it to production, where we already ran this dtp once.
Since we cannot enable the get delta once option enabled in dtp after the first dtp run
my question is should i delete the request from infocube and transport the dtp transport request (to prod )with getdelta once option ticked and run the dtp again will it work.
or do i need to delete the request as well as dtp from prod and then transport the new request with delta once option ticked.

based on the above link which says after activating transformations using the program rsdg_trfn_activate if we run process chain the dtp's get activated by itself
i have done a trial based on the above point
i went to dtp execute tab and press execute ,and when it asks me for furthur process
YES NO CANCEL
I have cancelled the execution of dtp.
and now when i refresh the tree the dtp is seen active .
i followe the same for all.

Does anyone know how to use this iMessage? I chose a friend who has an iPhone and I chose his email and his phone number, but the SEND button is shaded and not clickable. I thought this whole iMessage thing was universal on all our devices? I am guessing he didn't update his iPhone to iOS 5 yet. I have no idea. Not even sure how to use it. My girlfriend in Thailand has an iPhone and once she updates to iOS 5 is Apple basically saying that I can text message her free? iPhone to iPhone? Using iMessage? Are they using similar technology like TextNow or TextFree or something? Just a few ponderings. Thanks for any input y'all can give.

If you have the iPhone with iOS 5 on it and you setup iMessage with it and then start using it, then (Your cell number) is automatically registered with iMessage. (Remember Apple at this stage do not have telephone numbers registered but only e-mails. You can then use your cell number and vice versa with your friend on iPhone and iPad.
If you only have the iPad and not the iPhone and someone else you know that only owns the iPad and not iPhone with iOS 5, then you would only use the e-mail to send via iMessage
When you send a message on the iPhone, the SMS 'send button' is green. If it's an iMessge, the 'send button' is blue.

This is not a simple issue. You can set up a network, and set up sharing on the Mini, so that other computers on the same network can read and write to the external hard drive connected to the Mini.
To do that you have to get both computers on the network first, then set up the external hard drive so others can read on and write to it.
Is that what you want to do? If yes, and yu need help with this, please post back.
If you want to store apps on the external, and run them from a networked Mac, that is a whole other issue. To do that you need to set up the Mini to be a network server:

Depending of the country for which you want the payroll result you have to define result table as follows:
data: it_result type payXX_result.      "where XX is an abreviation of the country you get pay result for
                                                     "i.e. US, GB, NL, DE etc
"for some countries there is no specific cluster table, therefore you must delcare it as
data: it_result type pay99_result.     "this indicates that results are international
now you simply call the FM:

Drag and relate functionality is a very effective Business reporting tool. The functinality is basically provided to in order to view reports as per the requiremnts of the user using seceral combinations as required. Follow these steps
I will give you and example
1. Click on the Drag and Relate Tab.
2 Open Business partner and double click on Business partner a list of BP's will open
3.Now open the Sales A/R
4. Now Left click on the Business partner code. A black box will appear . Now drag this BP code to the Delivery and place it. The system opens a list of all the deliveries for that particular BP.
Similarly you can try all other types.

So, you do not see any fonts bold that shouldn't be bold?
What are your current default font settings?
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size in case you need a larger font, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text.
