Only getting time and pace info now. no distance or recording. help???
My sensor and Ipod touch has been working flawlessly for months (25 logged events) I have not used it for about 2 weeks and now when using my ipod touch and the sensor (with nike+ shoes) only pace and elapsed time is working. The sensor syncs within 2 seconds but the distance never moves off of 0:00 and the workout is not recorded. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Ok I fixed it. I had the same situation with the drained battery. I noticed that the time and date had gone back to 1970. I reset the date and time and resynced my ipod touch. The 3 trial workouts I did showed up. I just got back from my usual 2.3 mile circuit and everything worked as it did before my problem started. So check the date/time and resync your ipod with your computer and hopefully it work as mine did. Good luck

Thanks to your original comment again-- at least now I know if I need a "work-around" I now know at-least-that-the original-fonts in PS TOUCH seem to work. No wonder the default-font worked.. but not the NEW COPPERPLATE FONT.. YaY, mystery solved.. (almost)! [i wished they'd change that default-font..and get a new default font...Lol.. It's pretty homely looking..Hee.) I normally have been using that original TRAJAN PRO FONT.. but the letter "J" almost looks like a straight line vs a rounded J.. which at least the new COPPERPLATE FONT (which is a more normal usable font--That's not boring like aerial is,etc... ]. So yeah that will be great when all those new fonts gets fixed! // It would be great too (on my PS TOUCH wishlist, if someday they could fix the TEXT BOX too.. to be able to better & easily add A LOT [more] TEXT on a graphic .. as I always have to go to the "OVER APP" [That's the name of the app in the APPLE store] on my iPad to do that... PS TOUCH only seems to let you do TITLES vs a more lengthy text on a project. If I want to make an EASY border I take the image I've been working on into the CAMERA+.Plus App.. I have a apple component AV TV out cable (red, green,blue + red,white) and have had this connected to TV for about 6 months working fine. I moved the TV disconnected cables to move now I can only get video and no sound back on TV. Any suggestions ?

Did latest update for itunes and now can't open Itunes. Get pop of :itunes was not installed correctly.Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows Error 126). Have reinstalled various times and still can't open itunes. Please help.

What apps are you trying? TV out video only works with apps that support TV out. If the app does not support TV out you will still get aoudio via the component cable

When I install itunes, i keep getting message that Quicktime failed to initialize, reinstall itunes. I did this at least 15 times and it will not work. Can anyone help me?

ATV 3 (a1469) 7.1 cannot get time and date
Hello!
My Apple TV (3 gen) with software 7.1 is unable to get time and date and activate. As a consequence, ATV has very limited functionality because I can't even access iTunes or iCloud.
I tried recovering ATV by plugging it to the compuer using iTunes (on both PC and Mac), tried to connect ATV to another wi-fi network, tried plugging ethernet cable.
"time.apple.com" is accessible from my network, ping goes well.
What can I do to fix it?I tried both leaving settings on default values and setting correct places, didn't change anything.
I also tried to downghrade firmware to earlier versions but failed due to "unknown error". -
my itunes will not open! is giving me error7(windows error 126) and is stilling me MSVCR80.dll is missing and i tried downloading itunes like 6 times and is saying the same thing. Please help! i need to sync my kids ipads and ipods

Networked user logs in and only gets dock and spotlight icon
Here's the deal: I have a networked user (PHD) that logs in the only gets her dock and spotlight icon to come up. The rest of the menu bar at the top is missing. If you click on an icon in the dock it bounces and trys to open but never does and quits. Any ideas? This has happened before to two other users of mine using the same type of computer (2.0ghz 20in iMac G5) With the other two I was very busy so I just dropped our editorial image/clone on there and that fixed it. What is weird about this is that the user can log in on another computer fine and different users can log in on that computer fine. The computer is running 10.4.4 and the xserve is running 10.3.9
Thanks!well its created by using bad fonts at one time in your system - or fonts that do not exist on a local volume. when you load a font that is bad and may conflict with a current font etc the system encounters problems - upon reboot the "font cache" remembers this font and doesnt initialize the window server properly. the other case i mentioned is when i loads up and tries to load the font that was cached but was loaded into suitcase or some font management from a cd or network volume. the volume is not available and then the user login fails to finish... been a problem ever since 10.4 came out. 10.3 had its own way of showing the same issue.

Cannot import .avi file, I only get audio and no video!
Im trying to import from an SDCard some video taken from a Samsung camcorder to import into iMovie09, when I play it on Quicktime I only get audio. I have tried MPEG Streamclip to convert the .avi file to another format but have not been successful. I used MediaInfo and these are the results:

The Flip Video camcorder records or "captures" video in MPEG-4 advanced simple profile format, saved as an AVI file.
MPEG-4 advanced simple profile format = usually DivX
1.) With Mpeg streamclip you should be able to convert your AVI(Divx) files to a DV format for iMovie. To open DivX files, you have to install one of the free Divx Pro codecs on your system.

Using AS2 to get time and change based on result
I need to make an edit to a flash projector that was built some time ago that changes what is playing based on the time of day. It is used to advertise breakfast or lunch/dinner for a restaurant. Previously we had set it up so that the time change happened at 5 in the morning and 10 in the morning. The code is below. The restaurant wants to change the time switch to be on the half hour now. I know how to pull the hours and minutes to do this.

The breakfast and dinner movie clips have this code in them as well, so than at the end of each cycle, it checks the time and will switch.
I found this code on Flash Kit and wanted to try and modify it, My hope was to get it to generate a 24hr time 1604 or 1029 that I could then do a < / > comparison with, but this function adds the numbers together so 4:15 PM = 31 and 12:19 = 31 also. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can do this? I need the time to change at 5 AM and 10:30 AM. There is a possibility that they may want to extend it out to include day of the week as well. RIght now I just need fractional hours to work though.

Once it is past 10:30 I want the dinner movie clip to play and the breakfast clip to stop and disappear. After 5 in the morning, I want the dinner clip to stop and the breakfast one to start.
I've tried < and > with minutes and neither seems to work. The hours work, I set up a test clip with this script in it and when I change my computer clock, I can make this switch back and forth with hours but the minutes still do not factor in.

I downloaded ibooks to my ipad so that I can save PDF files to ibooks but I do not get an "open in ibooks" message to select. When I choose the icon, I only get mail or print option.
Where are these PDFs coming from? What do you mean by "save PDF files to ibooks" and then "I do not get an 'open ibooks' message? If they are saved to ibooks (I assume you used itunes to save a dragged in PDF to the ibooks panel in apps) then you should be able to open and view them in ibooks. If they are not in ibooks (I'm assuming this is the case, since you want to get an "open in ibooks" option from the *share* icon, right?) then where are they on the mini, which app?
