For any content on your iPod and iPhone purchased from iTunes, you can transfer it to your new computer's iTunes library via this article:

For anything not purchased through iTunes, you will need to reimport that from the original source or otherwise bring over from the previous disk.

Hi I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have two albums in my photos app other than the camera roll that i cant seem to get rid of. They contain duplicates of the photos i already have in my camera roll. One is called Photo Library, and the other is called iphone. It's using alot of space and I don't know how to delete them. Please HELP!!
those are photos that have been synced to your phone from your computer. plug in your phone to your computer, open itunes, select 'photos' tab from the top, and uncheck 'sync photos'
this will erase the photos from your phone that are not in the camera roll -
You cannot update this software as you have not owned a major version of this software? This is what I get when I try to update my apps on itunes. What does this mean..I have been having trouble..and reached out but they seem to not understand the problem.. No one has been able to help..It is like I don't have my past history with them anymore? Same here. Just becoming a nightmare. Updated iTunes and now can't update apps it itself is showing as available updates. Count me in on the latest "You can not update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software." bug.
Next I have to post about a new problem in iPhoto on a new thread.... it lost the "link" between some but not all photos I have in the library and what it itself posted to FaceBook a few hours ago...

Open any folder on it and choose Show Status Bar from the Finder’s View menu.
Alternatively, choose Computer from the Go menu, control-click the drive, and choose Get Info.

IPhoto Events with video only not showing in Photos.app with iOS 4.2.1
I upgraded to iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 3GS and when I open the Photos.app the videos and the event with the videos in do not show. I have created a new video on the iphone, synched ok with IPhoto but re-sycnhing with iPhone again does not show videos in Photos.app
Has anyone found a fix for this bug?The same thing happened to me. I was on a mission yesterday to fix it, but didn't get it to work. I have 1 more thing i want to try... but haven't had a chance.

My plan is to unsync photos to remove them from my phone, delete all the photo cache information from the iPhoto Library package, empty the trash, reboot my computer AND iPhone, open iPhoto to make sure they're sorted correctly, and then sync my phone. If that doesn't fix it... i dont know, i might call Apple. -

I dont know what the "other" category is in my phone storage usage and its taking up more than half of my storage on my iphone
What fixed this for me was clearing/deleting old text conversations that included videos and photos. "Other" was taking up about 6 gigs until I cleared the past conversations. To clear the conversations (after saving any videos and photos to your camera roll):
Click on the Messages app. Click on a text conversation that includes videos/photos. Click "Edit" in the upper right. Then click "Clear All" in the upper left, then confirm the delete.
This worked for me. Hope it works for you. -
I have tried many things to try to get it to work including deleting almost all of my apps! And it would great if someone could help me out in downloading this app.
Most apps if not all are compressed. You need 3 to 4 times the space to expand and install plus your iPhone core functions also need space work.
You need at least 10% space of your total capacity to have a smooth experience. -
My Firefox was auto. updated which fine because you still support Windows 2000 but now it says that I need to update Flash Player and I think that needs Windows XP. I am not sure it excepts Windows 2000 anymore or I am not sure. What should I do?

Ok my ipod touch syncs but not properly,I see a little icon on both itunes and the ipod rolling,itunes shows me that I have less memory available on my ipod after I sync which coresponds well in terms of memory with the ammount of songs I am loading to the ipod but I never see what I think I should see when I sync which is "do not disconnect......". I have tried rebooting the ipod and reinstalling itunes but to no avail. My ipod is brand new and everything works but for loading music and videos.I run itunes from windows xp. Help please!!
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?

Do the songs play in iTunes?

I'm a new iphone owner and have a limit of 200 mins to use making telephone calls per month. I'm just wondering if the amount of time recorded in the 'Current Usage' box on the Mobile Usage screen is the amount of talk time I've used in the month or the amount of time I have left?
Thank youAs the phone has no way of knowing what your plan allowance is, it just shows how long you've been on calls. Keep in mind that not all calls are billable. My carrier doesn't count calls to customer service. So, if you had called customer service, it would show on the phone as usage but not on your bill as part of your allowance. Check to see if your carrier has an app in the App Store for tracking minutes. It will be much more accurate.

SB Audigy 2 Platinum only recording left chan
I am attampting to do some custom mixing doing some voice-over for a narrated program.
Listening with headphones as I record all sounds fine, however, when I play the recording I only have left channel content. I did notice that the record level indicates that there is only a left channel component. I've checked all my presets and I'm set to record MP3 Stereo and can't find any other settings which could be muting the right channel.

If you are using the Mic/Line in 2 on the platinum dri've you will want to set the volume control on it to microphone (turn the volume up to where you want it...all the way down till it clicks sets it to line in mode) as in line in mode it records in stereo mode (both channels are recorded and since most mics are mono then you end up with only one channel) but in Microphone mode it records it as a mono input that is panned to center so it plays back in both channels.
