If you were serious to learn Photoshop, I'd advise you to take Photoshop classes at your nearest community college or some such institution, to take a subscription to lynda.com, to watch all the Photoshop videos at Adobe TV, to google for specific video tutorials on You Tube and for other tutorials in text format.
Even the Help menu in Photoshop can be a great starting place.
Don't expect to find in Photoshop the kind of hand-holding features that Elements has and that appeal to beginners and amateurs.

"@font-face" problem only with firefox. I have attached a style sheet while i was embedding my personal fonts into a website, but Firefox won't load them. Why?

I was hand coding my new website. This time i was trying to embed some personal fonts into my website, so i used a style sheet to embed which is coded like

All the font work fine in the root folder of my site. But whenever i am creating dreamweaver templates and using them on pages which are in different folders but in the same root directory, the fonts are set back to default font. This problem is only with Firefox. Chrome, IE, Opera etc. works fine. Please Help!

i run into the same problem the last days.
using bootstrap and the fontawesome iconfonts.
everythings fine with chrome an ie, but no fonticons with firefox...
found alot of solutions, but none of them worked.

first load after login is => everything ok!
after following an internal link => no webfonts!
after disabeling the htaccess login, everything works fine!
but that can only be a workaround!

Why is Flash blocked on my browser? Only on Firefox, and we have updated it.

Firefox is blocking Flash. It is keeping me from loading attachments to my emails and from listening to music on Soundcloud.

Why can't I print from internet. system check prints ok. problem only in firefox. I have ubuntu 11.04

If I copy from the internet and paste to libre office it prints fine
When I try to print from firefox my Hp printer green lights starts blinking quick. indicating ready. But status bar stays "pending..."
When I go into system check printer test page prints as it should.
This only happens with Firefox!

yes it show the current version. Have set the firefox back to 29.0.1 there the check für plugins shows the current version.

Why do I have to have uncheck mute to get the keyboard clicks but then my rotation is locked. There is only the one choice. Have the clicks and no rotations or have the rotation with no clicks. please help.

Why do I have to uncheck the mute checkmark to get keyboard clicks and then the rotation locks. Can't I have both. Sorry, I am probably not explaining myself very well. You can have both.
The Settings > General > Use Side Switch To is only saying what the switch on the side of your iPad, above the volume control, is controlling - what that switch isn't controlling is instead turned on/off via Control Centre (swipe up from the bottom edge of your iPad's screen).
So if you have the side switch is controlling rotation lock then swipe up from the bottom edge of your iPad to open control centre and there should be an icon for muting/unmuting notification sounds - if the icon is white then mute is 'on', if it's grey then it's unmated (tap the icon to turn it on/off).
And similarly if you have the switch controlling notification mute then the icon in control centre will be for turning rotation lock on/off.

When first opening firefox I always have to click the icon twice before the browser opens.

You're right, you should be able to just start typing in either the built-in Firefox home page ("about:home") or the actual Google home page (https://www.google.com/). Are you using one of those, or a different page that has a Google search box?
There are some add-ons to manage the home page and/or new tab page that may affect where the "focus" is in the browser. Could you try starting up Firefox in its Safe Mode? I suggest doing this the next time you start Firefox. Simply hold down the Shift key when double-clicking the icon. You should be presented with a small dialog. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference? To return to normal mode, exit Firefox and start it again, not holding the Shift key.

Since upgrading to Firefox 10 i have been having problems viewing pictures in Yahoo Mail. Anybody else have this problem?

I have updated to Firefox 5 and now I have no search bar. I had Google before, but when I tried to download this it said it was not compatible with Firefox 5.
Now I have no search box.

I had this same problem, but you can add the search bar back by going to View > Toolbars > Customize... then somewhere near the bottom of the list of objects you'll find the Search bar that you can then drag onto the navigation bar where you would like it to go.

How to delete asset in Oracle R12 in a status "posted"

We upload about a lot(about 10 000) assets from mass addition template and run post mass addition. All the assets are all in the status "posted" and we just realized that we uploaded in the wrong period.
How can we delete all those assets.Please help with the steps.

Since installing yosemite the colors are washed out and whenever I restart the machine it reverts to the yosemite screensaver even though i have set a different desktop picture.

Since i installed yosemite, the some parts of the screen can hardly be seen and whenever I restart the desktop display reverts back to the yosemite screensaver which I have never selected. Do i need to reinstall or what.

My dock would not appear. No change after a restart. After force quitting applications in order to log out all I have now is my account desktop picture and a cursur that moves okay but no icons.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.
