Only Incoming emails not being received on Mac Mail

Hello,
I am able to receive incoming emails on my Blackberry as well as my Webmail, but since a couple of days, my incoming Emails are just not being received on my Mac Mail, specific to 1 Account only.  I have multiple accounts on my Mac Mail.
Please assist.

Hello Shadab333
Start with using Connection Doctor to see if there is anything that is preventing it from receiving email. Depending on the settings of that email address in Mail you may not receive them once they have been checked elsewhere. Check out the article below to troubleshoot the issue further.

  • HT4061 Emails not being delivered via mac mail - recipients claim not receiving

A colleague and I have discovered over last 2 weeks issues with mac mail.
Emails are not being received - but it appears to be RANDOM.
We both use mac mail and have .me accounts.
He sent a group email that I never received until 3 days later when another colleague NOT on mac mail replied to all and I saw that I never received original note.
This colleague sent email to his attorney weeks ago -- and it was just delivered to his attorney's inbox YESTERDAY.
The colleague has also send me a several SENSITIVE correspondences that he confirmed via phone last night that I have still NOT received.
What is going on? is is a mac mail issue or an iCloud issue?
Need some help to get this reported and resolved.
    thank you!

    Hi. Welcome to the forums.
For info, CP (Critical Path) has been in use for a few months now for the conversion from using Yahoo! mail servers.
What version of Outlook are you using ?
In the smtp setting, try removing @btinternet.com or @btopenworld.com from the username - despite what the online help might say.
You might like to try port 25, with No security or SSL/TLS setting.
Is it all emails that are failing to send ?
If emails have been fine for years, do you know what the previous settings were ?
As for disabling firewalls - this doesn't always help - as they can still block emails! What security package are you using, and have you checked the settings within that package ?
    Sorry for the extra questions.

  • Incoming Email not Being Received

    Hello,
I have confirgured my phone to send and receive emails from a server based in China.  My settings are as follows:
    Incoming:
    Port 110
    No SSL
My user name password and POP3 Server are correct as I confirmed the same settings on my Outlook.
    Outgoing:
    Port 465
    SSL/TLS accepts all certificates.
I have tried secured settings, as well as the above settings.  I am able to send emails.  When I initially set up the email, the phone downloaded 200 messages.  I deleted these as they were all from months ago.   All test emails I try to send, show up in  my Outlook bit not on my phone.
    Any suggestions?  Please help.
    Sincerely,

    Hi TaosBTM,
Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Unfortunately without knowing the email domain you use, the information supplied does not really help. Can you clarify what type of email address this is, for example, Hotmail, Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo etc.
If this is a private based domain, then you will need to check with the supplier to clarify what port/security settings you would need for setup.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • TS3276 Email not being received?

Not all incoming emails are being received on iPad.
Do you know how to resolve please?

The iPad has no filter system of its own. Spam filtering would have been done either by your mail service provider or by whatever mail reading software you are running on your desktop PC.
You didn't answer some of my questions:
    What kind(s) of accounts(s)? (POP3? IMAP? Exchange?)
Are they perhaps being read and disposed of on some other device [like the PC]?
    New questions:
What mail reading software do you use on the desktop PC?
Do you use any mail rules on the desktop PC?
Have you been able to characterize what sorts of email are likely to get to your PC and not your iPad? (For example: Is it sender-related? Content-related? Time-of-day-related? More likely on replies than originals?)

  • Random email not being received

Have been running into a strange issue with my iCloud email address the past week or so.  Some email that is being sent to me is not arriving.  Here is what I've been looking at.
Missing email is not being filtered to another folder.
Missing email is not in my junk mail folder
A single sender can deliver many emails, only some of which arrive.  Have tried this with several other non-iCloud email addresses which I own and verified that not all email is being received.
Senders of the email which never arrive do not receive any automated delivery failure noticies.
the account still has a me.com address - but it has been migrated to iCloud.
Really ***** because I've only just completed a migration away from gmail.  If I can't rely on iCloud to receive email I'm going to have to go through the hassle of getting another address and notifying everyone.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

I have exactly the same problem, and (for me at least) it is server-side. Sean, a senior adviser for iCloud support, has been looking into it since 8th May but no luck so far. Some emails come through but others don't: of the 19 emails sent from [email protected] to discuss the issue, for instance, only 4 have come through to my mac.com iCloud account. The remainder have only gone to my backup account. I think this might be the same problem this user is having:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/18288701#18288701
but I've not had a response to my response to him/her. Would you mind if I passed this thread on to the person looking at the problem for me please? I've relied on my account for years, and I'm REALLY reluctant to abandon it now. Perhaps if this is affecting other accounts it can be fixed by finding out what they have in common.
    All best wishes
    Alex

  • Yahoo mail not being received on Apple Mail.

I have a primary Yahoo Mail account with 3 sub accounts.  One of the sub accounts will not longer download emails to my iMac Mail.
However, these emails are being received on my iPhone 6 and iPad3.  I have contacted Apple Support by phone and after they troubleshot the problem, it was determined that it was a Yahoo problem.  I am having no luck with Yahoo Support.   Thank You for any help.

I FINALLY spoke to someone today who was able to solve my problem so far.
In the PLAY STORE....look for K9 email app.....and download that...put in your AOL email address and password. You should now be able to receive your aol email on your phone.
It seems he has a Note II also, and had the same problem.
You would think that MANAGEMENT would tell all their C/S reps how to solve the problem. I guess they would rather lose a customer who has been with them for 10 yrs.

  • HT5361 Problems with @mac email NOT being received by others

Recently people that I have been sending email to and they are in my address book have NOT been receiving a new email from my @mac.com account.  The emails are in my Sent folder and show they have been sent.  If someone sends me an email and I reply everyone sees it.  But not a new email.  Any thoughts on what I can do to find the problem?
I've cleaned up my email, rebuilt my inboxes.  Please help!!  I use my @mac for all my business!
Oh - this happens no matter where I send the email from - iphone 5 or Ipad or macbook pro.
    Thank you,
    K

    Hi,
Part of the final question will depend on how you got to have the various email IDs
If you had an .Mac account and therefore the @mac.com email and then Linked this to @me.com in MobileMe then people can send to either and it will turn up in your mail box.
The same is true if you then linked the MobileMe @me.com to the iCloud account which moved the @me.com address to iCloud and may have latter given you the @iCloud.com.
In this case people could send to any of the three IDs and they will be received in your In box.
You should be able to login to iCloud (the web page) with any of the IDs (they all use the same password) and view the mail from there.
There should not really be any problem sending from one type of account compared to another.
I am not aware of any filtering either by Apple on older @mac.com IDs or Google not accepting them.
In the Window Menu of Mail there is the Connection Doctor which may give further clues.

  • Internal emails not being received.

    Hi,
We have come across an issue in our office with our blackberrys. If we send emails from our Blackberrys to another internal email address it arrives on our computers in our outlook but not on the blackberry. It doesn't fail or not sent it goes as if its sent but never arrives on the Blackberry.
If we send from our Computers to the address it arrives on both the Computer and the Blackberry.
Our carrier is vodafone ireland... and we have also spoken to our hosting company..
Can anyone help with this... it is as if Blackberry have blocked our company emails!

Yes, that helps ... and this only occurs when you send email FROM your BlackBerrys to other internal (meaning on your same company or corporate email domain name) email addresses.
First, check your internal email server's spam folders for those addresses and make sure the mail is not being filtered as spam.
Then, here are a couple of guides and suggestions
KB11036Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerry Internet Service
KB12447Error when sending email messages in same domain: authentication error: 530 5.1.0 unknown address

  • Alert Rule Emails not being received

Emails are not received from [email protected] to email hosted
by network solutions even if the domain name is added to to the white list. Network solutions support tells us that emails are being blocked/sent from originating server itself.

    Hi,
From azure status the alert servers are working fine, I have tested on my side, and received alert email, so I don't think this issue is related to azure side, if you still confuse
with this, please try to connect with azure support, here is the channel:

  • Sent emails not being received

Hi, urgent help required.  I currently run 4 different email addresses via BT, 2 for me and 2 for my partner.  Since Thursday we have noticed that some emails are going missing.  I've tested out all addresses by sending from one to another and some are delivered okay others appear to be sent but never arrive, and some appear in our Spam folders.  My partner also sent me emails to my work address but only 2 out of 3 arrived.  I use Windows Mail, my partner uses Outlook Express, I tested via webmail and through our Blackberrys but the results are always different, there is no set pattern, but one thing is for sure, not all emails arrive.  I know email is not 100% perfect, and the odd one goes missing but never to this extent.
I even had a problem getting verified for this forum because the confirmation emails kept going into Spam on webmail.
The main worry is because my partner is self employed and uses his email constantly we are worried that important emails are now going missing, this can be the difference of getting a job from a client or not.
I've checked out some postings are read about disconnecting and rebooting the Hub, which I've done, to no avail.
Please help, as I'm no technical genius but my partner is worse and looks to me to solve these things, and this one has got me baffled.

SPAM filters are heuristic, which means they learn. If you find that some of your messages are appeaing in SPAM folders and ypu don't tell the mail reader that this is not where they should be it starts to assume that ALL messages sent from that user should end up in SPAM. Depending on which mail program you use there may be a button to tell it that specific messages are not SPAM, it is important that you use this on any messages which are erroneously misplaced. They may also support a preferred senders list which is checked before making the decision where to put an incoming email. Unfortunately each mail reader is different in this respect, so it's hard to give specific instructions.

  • Email not being received/sent

Having some trouble with email on the ipad - Some of the emails that are sent on the ipad are never received.  Some emails that are sent to the Ipad, bounce.
I have telus email - not sure what other information you would need. Ipad2 wifi edition
    Thanks for any help/advice.

when the person receives them they only see the picture but do not have the ability to download the attachment as none is visible.
If they can see the picture then they have got the file. It's a setting on their end to figure out how to download it.
Also, can iPhoto import RAW ?
Er, yes but... RAW is a generic term for these files but every camera produces a different form of RAW file, so it's a question of what formats are supported on v6 of iPhoto (a few) on 10.3 (very few).

Emails are not being pushed to my Macbook Pro despite coming to my other i devices.  If I close and reopen mail it seems to encourage some but not all to arrive.  Any suggestions for a fix please?

  • Email alias emails not being received

I haven't been able to receive any emails for the past 3 days at any of my icloud email address. This morning, I just started receiving some at one of my email addresses. They aren't being received on icloud.com or in my Mail program. I'm missing a lot of important emails and I'm hoping someone knows what's going on or what to do. This has never happened before in the last 12 years. What's going on???

Ok all servers where enabled, i think by me leaving out the server field it was returning nothing, i put one of our CAS servers in there and then they showed results.  Appears now that 5 out of the 6 users shows a message delivered to them but the
6th is missing still?  I'm of course assuming our organization would recieve one message from this outside address, capture that email and distribute it to all the different mailboxes in our organization that are To'd or CC'd on it.  It appears that
it is recieving a seperate email for each recipient and delivering them one at a time to each mailbox?  Each mailbox that got the message so far shows a Timestamp for the eventid Recieved 1 hour after each other, seems like once the message is recieved
it should be delivered all at the same time no?  still curious why the other mailbox still hasnt recieved anything..

  • Approval Email not being received

    Hi All,
We just upgrade to R12 and the approval email is not getting received by approvers. This used to work on 11i. On R12, the notification is in the Worklist in Oracle but the email is not getting sent. Did we forgot to run a workflow job or I miss a set-up. Can you help me please.
    Thanks

Are the enrollments auto-approving or just getting stuck somewhere along the way?
If it is getting hung somewhere and it's never approving the enrollment, you should check to see that your Workflow Background Process is running regularly.
If it's auto-approving, you should look up the function OTA_LEARNER_HOME_SS from either System Administrator or Functional Administrator and check to see that your approval mode set to YD. You should check that "pApprovalMode=YD" and "pCertApprovalMode=YD"

  • Email not being received

I have sent several emails concerning work and none have yet to be delivered. i am on a trial membership for .mac.com. how do go about seeing if those emails were delivered or why are these emails not going through. i need a solution to this problem asap due to the fact it does effect my work.

Do you have a good wifi or cellular data connection?  Have you contact your email provider, since you've done all the trouble shooting steps already.
