Only keypads not working: qwertyuiop

Hi ya'll,
Lately,I having problem with keypads:qwertyuiop on PB G3 Pismo. I have this issue once before then I took in for a service,6 months later: same issue is happening again. I took the keyboard off and on to see if the connector is loose or not. Sometime it works and doesn't.
My second questions is the my battery doesn't fully charge but only drain when it's enter in both right and left slot.

...if your batteries are not charging you could have a bad power-board...it sits between the bays (where the batteries plug-in) under the track-pad...if the battery itself is not coming up to a full charge you could have a bad battery...easiest way to check if it's a bad power-board is to plug in a known good battery and see if it'll charge to capacity...
Powerbook Guy usually has good prices on new or parts which have been fully checked...

Problems with lost bookmarks, keypad not working, apps shutting down

Out of the blue, while I was still using Safari, all my bookmarks disappeared. No matter how many times I tried to add a bookmark it doesn't show up on my Bookmarks tab. I've tried adding a new folder on my bookmarks tab but it doesn't work either. I don't know what's going on. I've already reset my iPhone once because there were so many problems after I downloaded iOS4.
Also, I don't recall seeing "History" under the Bookmark tab but now it's there. The History option (along with the websites, etc.) comes and goes. Even after I delete everything from the Settings app, the history still shows up afterwards.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. If I absolutely need to (again), I'll reset my iPhone. I honestly didn't think I was going to have this many problems with iOS4. Everything was perfect before I downloaded the new operating system. I'm also experiencing other problems with iOS4 such as the keypad not working during a phone call and apps shutting down multiple times. Again, any help or suggestions would be great.

I have a couple of suggestions that may help with this issue. My first suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the keyboard.
Follow these steps to do that:
Click the "Start Menu"
Type "Device" in the search box under all programs
Select "Device Manager"
Click "Keyboards"
Remove all devices under keyboards by right clicking and selecting" uninstall" on each device
Restart the computer
How long has the button not been working?
Are there any other keys not working or producing the wrong character?

Keypad not working in game

My keypad, only when playing Diablo 2, does not work properly. I have to press and hold ALT and then press a key for it to work how its supposed. can someone help me out?

Do you still have have game disc? Try reinstalling the game and see if that works. Game file may have been corrupted. Or click on and go down this and click properties and open the game in another settings using the open in another window selection wizard. Where it ask you to open in xp version etc. Or click on trouble shoot.

Keys-keypad not working

Certain keys on my Curve 8300 keypad are not working, the Q A W and space bar are pretty much non-working. If I hold them down hard 1 out of 10 times I'll get them to work. I've only had a replacement blackberry for a couple of months, so it is fairly new and I take care of it, keep it in a case and have not dropped it or exposed it to water or sand, etc. Any ideas.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

N95 - keypad not working

Hello,
5-6 days ago I updated the software on my N95 using PC Suite. Everything was fine until 2-3 days ago when the keypad stopped working. When I pressed some button the phone went crazy and started opening random things. I didn't dropped it or get it wet. I tried removing the battery, removing the SIM card - nothing worked. The next day, all the sudden the phone was working again. The day after that the keypad stopped working again. Now it's either not working at all or it's opening random things by pressing some buttons or working normal for a while ...
By the keypad I mean ALL the buttons (including the media keys on the side) except the ON/OFF button on the top (it's the only one working all the time).
So, please tell me is this a software or hardware problem ?
Plus, I'm really really tired of this phone. I've already paid about 150 Euro for repearing which were not because of my fault and now maybe I have to pay and wait even more .. This phone is nothing but trouble for me so far and it is the most expensive one I've buyed ...

Well, I took it for repair and after a first look the guys said that the whole keypad must be changed. After a few days I recieved a call from them to tell me that it is not worth it to be repaired and it will be better just to buy a new one.
We are talking about a pricey phone which never been dropped or got wet, but it was repaired a lot of times for defects. So, I will buy a new phone, but I doubt it if you can convince me to buy Nokia again ...

E63 Keypad not working at Times

I have E63 which i have purchased just 5 months back. Key pad works in bizzare manner, some time it works and some times it doesnt even respond. From past 2 days i couldnt unlock my phone since the unlock key is not working/responding, only the red(disconnect) key works. This happened many times in this month, the whole thing goes down for few hours and suddenly again it starts working. i have forcibly restarted the phone by removing and replacing the battery but no use. is there any mothd to format the phone, i have tried answerkey+*+3 it didnt work. Please help me out.

I too experience intermittent problems unlocking my E63-1. Often (once a month or so) I'll receive an SMS, go to unlock the keypad in the usual way, to find the top-left soft key does nothing.
The other buttons appear to work, in as much as pressing a key cancels the screensaver (clock) and pressing "red" (end/power) lights up the screen and keypad in the usual way. The phone clearly has not "crashed" as such, since it will accept incoming calls and text messages (and I can even send and read messages over a bluetooth connection!), but the keypad is simply ignored. The only way I've found to get back control of the phone is to pull out the battery to force a restart.
I can only assume it's a software problem, and I don't think there's a solution or even a workaround at present. As with so many problems, we can only hope that someone from Nokia is reading and decides to investigate: as I've previously mentioned in other threads there appears to be no feedback from frontline support to the phone developers. I hope someone proves me wrong!

Satellite C55-A-1R6 - keyboard / keypad not working

Hello guys
I have a c55-a-1r6 and the keyboard and keypad are not working at all.
Before it would start up the keyboard and keypad would work for a couple of minutes and would not work. Sometimes would work only a few keys and the not work.
Now i cannot access anything, i can't even go past the login password.
Anyone came across something like that?
What could i do?

Connect an external USB keyboard and check if you could use it to login the system.
In case this will work, the internal keyboard is faulty and has to be replaced.
Feedback would be appreciated.

Erase 'Last Stroke Only' Is Not Working Correctly

I'm trying out After Effects CC having been working in CS 5.5, and finding that my normal workflow is not working out. I would like to use the clone stamp tool to create a stroke, then use the erase tool with the 'last stroke only' option in order to refine the clone stroke. However, in CC when I use the erase tool for this, the image does not update in the comp viewer, and using undo does not get rid of the erase in the layer window. If I press undo a second time, the whole clone stroke deletes. If I change the preview resolution of the comp viewer then the erase appears in the comp window. If I don't change the resolution but simply advance the timeline cursor by a frame then the erase appears as it should for however long the clone stroke lasts, but refuses to appear on the first frame it was created in. Is all of this a bug or something about the 'last stroke only' option that has changed since CS 5.5?
First image shows how the erased line does not appear in the comp viewer. Second image shows frame 2 where it does suddenly appear.
Using an iMac, OS X 10.8.5, 8gb ram.

What version of iPhoto? Of the OS? what exactly is happening? What have you tried to resolve this? How long have you waited for them to downad? have you looked at http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/photo-stream/ and verified tha tyour set up is correct and looked through the FAQs and troubleshooting tips? Has it ever worked? What has changed since it worked?

C3 keypad not working!

I have a nokia c3-00 set, suddenly it's keypad stops working. just if i hold, call dorp button, then it show the screen. i have very important contacts in it. I want that contacts. kindly advise me, is it a software problem or hardware?

How old is this device,have you tried to update it recently,check here http://nokia.com/nokiasuite , if not send to nokia care point or point of purchase ASAP.

Numeric keypad not working

The numeric keypad no longer functions with my Apple keyboard when trying to input numbers with Excel or AppleWorks. It has functioned in the past. The screen just freezes. Not sure what might have caused the change. Trying a different known working keyboard with keypad does not work either.
Would doing a SMU reset help?
Any suggestions?

8520 keypad not working

i bought a 8520 in february when i got it the battery was not working so i had to replace it and buy and new one. a little over a month i have this phone my keypad is not working the phone never fell nor came in contact with water. The track pad scrool but you cant confirm nothing with it nothing else works on the phone can some please tell me whats the problem and how it can be solved.

It seems you may have a hardware issue with the keypad but I would suggest to first try doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software and then test.

Visible (screen only) is not working

Hello everybody:
I've been experiencing some problems whenever I try to put an object with the "Visible (Screen Only)" presence property. The issue comes whenever I print the form: it always show all the objects. That happens to me when I use forms imported from a previously scanned document (importing the documents as an image), but not with new ones.
I'm using LiveCycle Es2 and I changed the program properties in order to make the form compatible with 8.1 or later versions. Niall O'Donovan suggested me to check if there was any warning related with the version, but there is no one.
Does anybody know anything about this?

Hi Javier,
I had a chance to look at this now and I think the issue may be the fact that the form was created by importing an existing Word/PDF document. Depending on how you do this, the form may only be saved as a Static PDF form and certain dynamic functionality (like Visible Screen Only) will not be available.
I don't think you will get the previous advice of prePrint/postPrint script to work either (changing the presence of the objects), as this would require the form to be saved as a Dynamic XML Form in the save as dialog.
