Only one at a time?
Is there no other way of adding rows or columns between existing rows and columns except 1 at a time?
It seems a bit odd (perhaps there is a bug)... but here is how it is working currently:
(1) Select the number of rows you want to add
(2) Do not use the little row header pop up. It only will add one at a time.
(3) Instead the menu item "Table"/"Add Rows Above" or "Add Rows Below" (note that "Row" is plural in these menu texts). Alternately you can right click on a row header.

If you want a Picture in Picture effect, stack one still on top of the other with a connect edit. Use Transform to scale and reposition the top image.

Flashbuilder has the ability to create and run Air content from the IDE, to actually usean Air App outside of the IDE you need to install Air.
Flashbuilder install includes 2 sdks, the 3.5 sdk for 'backward' compatibility with Flexbuilder and for targeting flashplayer 9, the 4.x SDK for Flashbuilder and targetting flashplayer 10.0 and above.
As far as fair use is concerned Adobe have had fair use software licensing for a while, single user 2 devices is not a problem, what is not clear is if you can use the software on both devices at the same time.

Multiple file uploads, or only one at a time?
I have multiple files in folders on my iPad. I want to upload entire folders of documents. So far I have only been able to upload one document at a time. Then after uploading, I have to put them in acrobat.com folders one document at a time. It is very time consuming. Is there any way to upload multiple files at one time? Once the documents are uploaded, is it possible to move multiple documents into a folder at one time? Or does each document have to be a separate upload action, and each move into folder a separate document-by-document one at a time?
On my iPad I have been opening and saving pdf's in Adobe Reader. I would like to upload these pdf files from the iPad Adobe Reader to acrobat.com. I have thus far been uploading them from the iPad one fie at a time. It is very slow and tedious. There is also no way to get multiple pdf files from the iPad Adobe Reader to a computer except one file at a time. So it seems that once I used the iPad Adobe Reader app to save the files, I am stuck with one file at a time movement. I did, however, find that once I get files to acrobat.com, I can move multiples files at a time into folders on acrobat.com via the iPad. The problem is getting them uploaded from the iPad Adobe Reader app to acrobat.com. Is there a solution I'm missing, or am I correct in my understanding of the iPad Adobe Reader app upload situation?

Where can I see the downloads LIST when downloading podcasts,

I may be a bit behind the times: I am used to tabbed browsing showing all the tabs it possibly can, instead of just the last one. Sometimes it won't even show the last tab: I can have 15 tabs open, and not see a single tab. I've been confused by this into closing a window with lots of tabs open, because it looks like a single page-window.
My main problem with the tab-bar flashing to the end of the row is that it means a great deal more mouse-clicking around to browse.
I haven't tried installing the latest beta. Maybe that would fix the problem.

Process inbound Idocs only one at a time
Hi all,
I'm searching for a solution to the following problem:
We are receiving ORDERS-Idocs into our R/3 4.6C-system. These Idocs are processed by our own Z-function module. The function module's coding should assure that e.g. the first idoc of each day sent by a certain customer should create a new sales order (VA01), whereas the following idocs of that same customer should only add items to that sales order (VA02).
To make this work, we must make sure that no two idocs of the same sender are processed simultaneously, or even better that the function module is running only once at a time. I tried the following practices, which didn't satisfy our needs:
- create own ENQUEUE/DEQUEUE object and call the ENQUEUE at the beginning of my function module - didn't work!
- use GET PARAMETER ID to read a flag and SET PARAMETER ID to set the flag - didn't work, second idoc was too fast!
- write a record into own DB table and check existing entry with SELECT SINGLE FOR UPDATE - worked only sometimes, needs COMMIT WORK.
- check if there are any flags you can set in WE20 - couldn't find any!
Does anyone have a idea for my problem?

form the mentioned options, I would give enqueue / dequeue a second try.
I would use customer (/sender) as key field for your locking object.
If you try to set the lock right in the beginning of your FM, whole customer should be locked for processing. Second test is of course, if already a sales order exists.
Maybe here the problem occurs: when you have some parts in update task, select for sales order is not successful for some (micro-)seconds.
Solution for this part: use synchronic booking / commit work and wait. Maybe make a test with a select for VBAK in the end of your FM to test existence -> if not successfull, you know you identified your problem.
If this is your problem, you should make a new enqueue after commit (because it will be deleted by commit) and wait until DB gives you new VBAK entry.
I would start with a test, why all this different locking options don't work (instead of looking for a different locking option): make a select after your sales order creation. If this is not successfull, then here is your starting point.

Can delete mail only ONE at a TIME
Ever since the macmail app, changed it's appearence etc., I have been unable to delete unwanted messages I spot in my inbox. In order to delete them I have to open them one at a time, hit delete and w a i t. Going through 150 emails a day one at a time is unacceptable. What's going on?

Two Airport express. only one at a time able to stream music....
I have one Airport express feeding me the internet from the office. this unit has no speakers conected to it.
the second unit is in the living room and i want to send music to that one.
when i select the living room airport express i can't go online.
when i select the office unit i can't stream music to the
HiFi.....
I have downloaded AIRFOIL (3rd party app) to fix this but it can only connect to the airport express that i have select on the menu bar.

Resultset - retrieves all rows or only one at a time

I am using oracle DB. Lets say the query i run has about 1000 records
when i call:
prepareStmt(cstmt);
Rsultset rs = cstmt.executeQuery();
Do I get all the records, or do i get them one by one
when i call
rs.next
is this DB specific??

thank you.The driver implementation is free to retrieve as many or as few rows at a time from the database as it wants. You can suggest to the driver how many rows at a time it should retrieve with setFetchSize(); the driver is free to ignore your suggestion (but many drivers honor it). The fetch size default varies wildly from driver to driver, from 1 row at a time to all rows at a once. For the Oracle thin driver, the default is 10, which is usually too small to give the best performance (I use between 100 and 1,000, usually 250).
Note that when you're working with a very large ResultSet, a driver that does "all rows at once" can cause you to run out of memory. Also, some drivers will cache every single row when using a scrollable ResultSet (and again run you out of memory) but not do so with a forward-only ResultSet (Oracle has this issue). -
IPod won't play album tracks consecutively, only one at a time
So I was trying to listen to some Brian Eno last night.
How do I tell my iPod that Brian Eno soundtracks are, um, soundtracks - as in, intended to be played piece after piece, one through thirteen? For example, if I go into eg a Kasabian album, I can play the whole thing without having to re-find the album for each individual track, + the tracklisting in the 'Now Playing' window on the iPod shows '1 of 13', '2 of 13', etc.
But if I try to play Eno's The Pearl, the 'Now Playing' display tells me each track is '1 of 1' - so it will only play one track + I have to go back into the iPod + manually select track 2, track 3, etc (which are all still '1 of 1'). And here's the weird part, if I look at the same tracks in the 'Get Info' window on iTunes on my laptop, each track is clearly labelled '1 of 13', '2 of 13', etc. Whassup with that then? It seems as if that info simply isn't making it as far as the iPod.
I tried designating the album as a compilation, but this just made Eno vanish from the Artists menu + didn't solve the problem.
Double weirdly, this seems to be a problem I have only with Brian Eno - is he on some sort of Apple blacklist??!
For the moment I've got a workaround, in that I've made Eno into a playlist - but surely there's got to be a correct solution?

FiDid you ever get a sensible answer to this problem, I have a similiar problem on my Mac. I have one track from iTunes Store, which refuses to play on my iPod......have downloaded stack of music before, this has never happened previously!

2 Macs on APBS but only one at a time
OK gang here it is. I just updated to the new APBS Extreme (Square one) from the spaceship one. Everything switched to the new station fine.
I have 4 computers on the network. 2 PC's (1 Wireless G and 1 cabled desktop).
2 Macs. 1 Macbook Pro that is NOT N compatible. 1 13" Macbook that IS N compatible. I have not downloaded the N enabler from the store.
Problem: Everbody can use the Internet at the same time except the 2 Macs. When the MacBook Pro is on it kills off the Macbook.
Any suggestions?Make sure that the MacBook Pro and MacBook are not configured to use the same static/manual IP address in the AirPort settings.

sometimes they come in a zip file, which I really don't know what to do with, so I have unzipped it to a picture folder which leaves an entire folder within a folder. That also leaves an empty zip folder in my pictures.
The craziest thing and most unwanted as well, is that although I have downloaded only a specific file, the folder fills with photos that I have only looked at in my browser...tons of them! Most are unrelated to each other as well as viewed on different dates.
Sometimes, the file extension is an unknown file type to me at times (sorry can't find an example).
I have only tried to download pictures from FaceBook to date.
I apologize for not understanding some computer basics - which probably are the causes of most of these problems. I have read most of the literature for Firefox, but a lot is above me.
I really hope that you can help me and that my LONG description and information is just a pain.

External Harddrive - Only one at a time?
I've found that I cannot get two external USB 2.0 harddrives to show up at the same time, hub or no hub, whatever I try. I also can't connect an external DVD-RW drive. It doesn't even show up at all. The harddrives, when they do connect, are slower than molasses. Much faster on the windows machine. Now, in all cases, these have worked before. I have a first gen G4 1.42GHz PPC... is this thing just getting old? I'm going to try to install leopard on it tonight... Is that even wise? I'm running 1GB of ram, so it should be...
On an entirely different note, I am an American in Japan, and wondering how going about buying some more apple products will work out with customer service. Although I speak elementary Japanese, it is certainly NOT enough to deal with Japanese tech support- and I wouldn't want to. I also am a junior high-school teacher, and wondering if I am eligible for and education discounts.Systems slow down and begin misbehaving for two basic reasons - firstly (and most commonly) OS and applications get more and more bloated, so consume greater and greater amounts of CPU time, and hog greater RAM and system resources. Secondly, hardware issues where component tolerances affect overall performance - in each instance this is marginal, though the cumulative effects can be noticeable.
In both cases, Macs have a bit of an advantage because neither MacOS or applications tend to bloat at the same rate as Windows/Windows apps, and in hardware terms, one of the reasons Macs cost a little more than equivalent PCs is because hardware components are typically tighter tolerance and therefore less prone to degrade to significant levels.
Of course that doesn't entirely hold true for mechanical devices such as hard drives, where heavy use can create significant wear rates which then render the system liable to slowdowns and even crashing. Video editing is not, however, particularly demanding in terms of the reliability limits of modern hard drives, so the fact you use your system for this would not typically cause a problem - unless of course you are a very heavy user. Even so, you would normally notice other symptoms if the drive were deteriorating - not least errors when you verify it, or increased and unusual noises or crashes.
The problem with installing Leopard at this point is that it introduces another unknown. Assuming you are familiar with the behavior of your system with the current OS, and with the current OS's features and performance, Leopard would do little other than mask the problem and make locating the cause more difficult. It must also be said that you might find it creates an additional performance hit. -
Can't import folders only one at a time files. (thousands!)
OK here's the problem: I just reinstalled XP on my computer and when I either add by file or by folder it doesn't show in my library. I have 7,000 songs and I see that that when i dip threw the folders and catch an individual file it will add, but i would quite literally have to do that thousands of times for that to work. Before I wiped my computer clean I just copied my itunes library to an old hard-drive. So its organized the way itunes does it with countless folders if it was just one folder with all those files it would be easy, Ive been researching for hours now and yeah i should of burn it via export library but to little to late for me now. Ugh I just organized my library too! Album art and all! Guess it was naive to think it was as simple as putting it in my itunes folder and abra-cadabra! it be there. Please help and I'll be your best freind.

Multiple embeds, play only one at a time?
I'm working on page with CD track info and I want to have a small quicktime play button by each song that will play a 30 second sample. I've already done this by just embedding each mp3 sample into the xhtml page. The problem is, a person can click on multiple tracks and they'll all play at the same time. Is there any way to get (attribute or javascript?) so that when some clicks on a track, the previously clicked track that is still playing (if there is one) will stop first?

...with the JavaScript API for QuickTime. I don't have an answer for you, but some of the attributes you are looking for are exposed to JavaScript. One trick is that to get the QuickTime plugin to do the heavy lifting for you, you need to insure that you are playing your clips in the QuickTime plugin (duh...). They may be MP3 files, but you might want to embed them in a .MOV container in order to make sure they don't get hijacked by some preferred audio player.
Of course, if you do that, you could, I suppose, just use a QuickTime reference movie to link all the media files together into a single player...
