Only one page on my website Firefox can not open

Hello, On my website I have four pages. Firefox opens three up and not the other. The one in question opens for a split second then Firefox reverts back to downloading. No messages appear to indicate a problem. Google Chrome opens up all four pages but I prefer to work in Firefox.
I have updated Adobe and all add-on's.

I happen to have a Bravenet account.
In the password account info I entered the URL to the protected page.
And a username/password combi.
In iWeb I created for this purpose a page (the protected one) and another page where I pasted the login code Bravenet provides. The login code you paste in the HTML Snippet.
When you login, Bravenet displays the protected page in a Frameset.
It's a rather silly solution, because the page itself is not protected:

But to keep up appearences click the URL below first and login:
http://web.me.com/wyodor/Aangepast/Enter.html
Username : Prova
Password: Prova
Once you know the real page, there's no need for a password.
You're really protected by creating a second Site in iWeb and passwordprotect that Site.

Firefox can not open dwt.asp files. Just returns the coded page.

Looks like the server is mis-configured. That file is being sent as '''text/plain''' and that is how Firefox is rendering it. Opera 10.63 and Safari 5.0.1 do the same as Firefox, it only displays properly on IE8 for me.

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

I downloaded pages, completed file sharing but can not open the documents on my ipad

I have pages on my ipad2, I went through the file sharing instructions for 2 files. I can not open them in pages. When I go to Documents, copy from itunes, the files show but cannot be selected.

Quit Pages and restart the iPad and try again.

Firefox can not open .HTML files

I am using the Firefox 14.0.1 . I can't not open any kind of .HTML file(written in notepad) in Firefox when in others browsers I can open these normally. When I am trying to open my HTML file to test them in Firefox, they couldn't be open rather than I am getting some unsorted of scripts like chines or something like this (I don't know clearly which kind of language)

It is possible that you saved the file in an UTF-16 encoding instead of UTF-8.
You can try to test that if you aren't sure.

• I thank you all each and every person, ladies and gentleman who are connected with Mozilla Firefox in any manner and who have contributed for its development and any other who is in any way even concerned and every well wisher of Mozilla. My good wishes for all of them and for their work that it has become so popular and every one of them has laboured selflessly and without any money angle for that and that is the best thing. Such selfless work must be appreciated by each and all.
• My earlier suggestion for accepting cheques from those who like me do not have any cr. card has still not been accepted.
• You please incorporate features from other good programmes as these are still not there in FireFox and I am using only this since when I first installed it and I do not intend to use any other but these features as I remember were available few years back are still not there in Mozilla so today there should be many more features which can be incorporated in Firefox.
• When the connection is on but not opened i.e. the connection has been switched on but not opened i.e. the modem lights are on and not off then if I go back to a page opened then the Firefox shows loading problem but if I switch off the modem then I can access that very same page. This should be taken care of so that even if I switch on the modem but the connection is not on even then I should be able to see the page 1 or 2 or many pages backwards.
• Then I can not open the history even of today and see that page whereas earlier I could click any history page and it showed even if it was 5 days old (which is my setting) and I have not changed any setting.
• I also thank the all add-on creators because I have installed very few but even then these are very useful.
• I would also suggest that you incorporate these add-ons in the FireFox itself for example I suggested many moons back that let there be a system of any number of tabs being opened (and a few more suggestions) and it is available as add –on in tab mix plus which I have now installed.
• I also request to everyone concerned to give his ideas as to what other features can be incorporated in Firefox and these suggestions be on your website and after a certain number of well wishers and users select the idea you please either develop it yourselves or any well wisher can do it and then it can be incorporated in the Firefox.
• I also give you my suggestion which is not available presently to my knowledge in the browser or add-ons this is that if I move a window in tab mix plus then it is always in a window for each tab but instead of that my suggestion is that I should be able to move any no. of tabs or any other tab to one particular window only and that too in any manner I like in any sequence like at a particular No. of tab say 15th etc.
• I also feel presently having some problem that when I shut down the computer after save and quit pages that are there are not reopened. Loading problem in those pages appears I do not know the reason but Firefox should be able to show all the last page/pages/window/windows I was perusing after I saved and quit.

Please provide more details about your computer along with the graphics card. Also, A log file might help identify the cause of the crash. Please right-click 'My Computer', select "Manage," look under 'Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application' to see if there's an event there from Premiere Pro. If so, copy the contents of that log and paste them here.

yea, that has happenend to me as well.
Well this is what has happenend to me anyway.
I will go to the apple site and enter the discussions forum, and the blue bar in the url box will jsut hang for minutes sometimes. THen the page will finally open as well as the blue bar will show up all the way.
But then i will click on say , the safari forum, and the blue bar will open just alittle, though the page will not, and ill wait anoither 2 minue and it finally open.
is this what they call, "hung up", or "hanging?"
but mine doesnt time out, i get no error message. Just th spinning ball , and sometimes no spinning ball.

My website is made with Adobe Muse and published with Business Catalyst.
Some pages can be edit on the Business Catalyst Console, but, unfortunately, some other pages can't.
Why some pages and not others ?

I have try the edit mode with Firefox and Chrome and no one doesn’t work.
For the french pages, I must reload the page to have the blue blocks. And if I do that on an english one, it switches on the french one...

I have just checked at my end and it seems everything is working fine and I am able to edit even the English version pages.
Can you please try some other browser or in a different system to edit your site and check if you are able to do so.

I was installing Firefox 4.0.1 and something went wrong. Now every time I try to open Firefox, an error message that says "A copy of firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." I've looked it up and every forum says something about a terminal.. and lock files.. Could somebody PLEASE break it down and explain it as if you were talking to a 2 year old? I am computer illiterate.

Maybe Firefox messages have been modified slightly. Please read the article

The article explains how to find and stop the extra Firefox process that is causing problems. (You usually use Windows Task Manager to do this - if it is a Windows computer) There is a selection option on the help page with a + by it towards the top right, click that to change the help page details to match the operating system and version of Firefox you use.
If the problem keeps occurring it will be because Firefox has some files mixed up, for instance multiple copies of the files it uses to try to get Firefox to display the details of the last browsing session when you restart Firefox. Some web pages did not load correctly. (on Imac). Deleted Firefox and moved Profile to another drive to backup.
Downloaded new Firefox. When I try to install, I keep getting this message-"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."
I went in and searched for all occurrences of Firefox or Mozilla and deleted.
It will still not load.

I cannot get Firefox to run now. I backed up my Profile to another drive. Cannot create a new one as Firefox will not run. It says there is another copy running. I did create a new Mac account logon and can run Firefox there, so something in the other account is showing Firefox is running.

I have shut down my mac for half a dozen times in response to the warning -- A Copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time -- that comes up each time I attempt to launch the browser. I have tried out the solutions suggested for previous users (on the Mozilla Forum) who were experiencing similar issues, but I can't even see Firefox on my Mac's Activity Monitor. What's going on?
I started experiencing this problem out of the blue on a networked computer two days ago (on Tuesday December 6). I have been using computers on this network for more than a year and it's only now that I have started experiencing this problem. Furthermore, I have been a Firefox user for more than four years and never encountered this issue. It's frustrating considering I have come to rely on Firefox as my browser of choice.
Other than this background I don't know what else to tell you by way of details.

Thanks for your prompt response. Intriguingly, when I logged on to my Mac (it's on a university network) this morning and launched Firefox it opened without a problem. If the issue resurfaces, I will try out the solutions you posted. Judging from the experiences of users who successfully trouble-shot their issues, apparently, Madakkadam's solution would be most helpful.

I uninstall Firefox, then reinstall Firefox, try to open Firefox, and get an error message in a popup box saying,
"Close Firefox"
"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I have tried to download and run Firefox on my MAC OS 10.6.7 several times and have run into this error message every time:
"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time". A search through the computer does not fine another copy of Firefox and there is no window open or evidence of the program open.
When I got this computer a year ago I copied the hard drive from the old computer onto the new and the old computer had a copy of Firefox on it and the program worked on that computer. It would not run on the new computer so I thought maybe it was due to the Intel chip so I deleted the program and downloaded the newest version at the time. This is when I started getting the error message and subsequent attempts have yielded the same results.
