Only one user has the site coming up as insecure how do we fix this?
Our company webpage is coming up with the shield and displays with no graphics. We can allow it to display manually by clicking on the shield, but then when Firefox is restarted it is back to not displaying again. . We have checked all of the settings and cannot find anything to "white list" the site. I would think that if it was going to do this for one person it would do it for everyone? The computer is a Dell laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise with Firefox 33.0.3. He does not have this issue with IE 10.

For Safari you could try clearing its cache and history via Settings > Safari.
For Safari and your other apps you could close them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
When I type a new URL in the address bar (or location bar), and I either type the complete URL or select from the drop down list, nothing happens. I hit enter, and the website does not load in the current tab, new tab nor in a new window. Exactly the same when I hit the green arrow to the right of the address bar. I am using Firefox 8, and all my add-ins are up to date.
It has been working before. The setting to get Firefox to open new pages in a new tab from the address bar is there, so it should open a new tab. But I get nothing at all!
Please help, how can I fix this?

James.That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

There is a toolbar feature in the lower right corner of the taskbar. I tried to set up the Links toolbar. I can drag addresses to this, but when I click them, nothing happens. What should happen is the site/page whose address I clicked should open.
How can I fix this? Is it a problem with the Firefox I'm currently using?I checked out the links you provided. One is dead, one is for Windows 7, which doesn't apply to my problem because I'm using Windows 8, and I've been checking out the third.
I'm a novice and may not have the right vocabulary to explain myself. The Links toolbar is accessed from the bottom right side of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Apparently Firefox is necessary to use this, as everyone I've talked to swears it's not visible for IE.
What I'm referring to is Right-click "show hidden icons." Scroll up to Toolbars. Scroll over to Links. Check it to enable it. Then what should happen is I should be able to drag the address/url from the top of the page to this menu and click on it when I want to go back to that particular page. That is what is not working. Nothing happens when I click the addresses in the Links menu. -
Only one user at the time can execute VE01 (due to blockage of VEIAV)

As I understand it only one user at the time can execute VE01 (or MEIS for arrivals). If someone is already executing the VE01 transaction the error-message "Table VEIAV is blocked by user XX" appears. It does not matter if one tries to execute it for different legal entities - no parallel processing seems to be possible.
This is a huge limitation for a global concern with many entities operating in the same SAP instance. Does anyone recognize this problem and are there any ways to get around it? It does not make sense that dispatches (VE01) and arrivals (MEIS) cannot be executed for several organizational units at the same time in parallel?

for me it is not more than an emergency transaction, as it is not really more than table maintenance thru SM30
You should investigate what entries/changes the users have to make.
Limit these manual entries by having better data in the system, so that SAP can itself create the entries for this table.
Organize more, less users , maybe just one per company who shall maintain VEFU manually.
Train them to prepare their entries before they start using VEFU.
Explain that they should leave VEFU as soon as possible as the block other users.

I am using the dynamic signal analyzer.vi but this vi has the output as single precision. How can I change this to DBL precision? If I change the representation from single to double in the AI buffer read.vi labview returns ilegal operation and crash. I have labview 5.1 on windows 95 and one AT-MIO16XE50 DAQ board.

Ricardo.Probably by changing the data type that lvdaq.dll expects to write to is causing the crash. I can't test this since I have only 6.1 installed now. In any case, since the daq card is only 16 bits, the single precision is probably adequate for AI Buffer Read. If you do need the greater precision later on, you should be able to change representation in any one of the upper level VIs.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

When I try to open iweb I get the following message: Can’t open file “~/Sites/NAVIGATOR/index.html.” How do I fix this? Using 10.6.3 soon to be 10.6.6 and then Lion. I have never opened the product before and have had it on the computer since new.
Go into your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and see if there's a file titled Domain.sites. If there is double click on it and see if iWeb opens.
If there is no Domain file there do the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

every time I try to open itunes I get a message saying "runtime error. An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. I have already un- and re-installed it, but i get the same message as before. How do i fix this? I don't want to lose my music and would at least want to save that.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. What do you mean with the wrong email address?
- If it is not your account on your Mac, then just sign out and then sign in using your account in "System Preferences > iCloud".
If you want to change your current email address which is associated with your iCloud account, please make sure that you turn of "Find My iPhone", "Find My Mac" on all your devices before you change your email address, then go to https://appleid.apple.com sign in and then change your Apple ID/iCloud ID. Please note that email addresses which end with @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com cannot be changed. -

This usually indicates a problem with your router or cable modem, your ISP's service or cabling outside your house. First thing I'd try is rebooting the router/cable modem (turn it off, wait 1 minute, then turn it back on).
