Only seeing the try option in the Adobe Application Manager

Yes you can upgrade to the already outdated CS6 instead of spending the same money for a brand new CS7 that is not there!
Or get trapped in the new subscription system.
Maybe it is me, but I've tried to do the CC upgrade and it just brings me to a page with all the app icons with a choice of download or learn.  Now, I do already have a single app subscription to Muse in CC, but I wouldn't think that would hinder doing the whole group of apps.  And if I click on, for instance, Photoshop downoad it takes me to the Application Manager and Photoshop shows it as a "try" - where am I supposed to go to do this CC sign up?
Tom

I am not sure if i understand your issue correctly, still would give it a try.
If you have purchased a Single app subscription then you will see all other applications as Trial in Adobe Application Manager unless you purchase a Full Creative Cloud membership.

  • Downloaded the 30 day trial, but when I try to open it "Adobe application manager" opens, and nothing happens. Help!

I've tried several times now, but every time I try to open Premiere Pro the Adobe application manager opens, and nothing more happens.

Okay, I'm a super-noob, so please bare with me. This is what I've done so far...
*Installed the 30 day free trial version of Premiere pro CC (2014), which led me to install "Adobe creative cloud". From there I installed Premiere Pro.
*When I double clicked on the Premiere Pro icon after successful installation the icon only appeared briefly on my dock before it was replaced by the "Adobe application manager" icon. No new windows appeared and nothing happened.
*I then tried to uninstall Premiere Pro, but the uninstall window looked broken. There was only "-" symbols where there was supposed to be text.
*Since I didn't know what to click on in the uninstall "guide" I closed it down and dragged the entire Premiere Pro icon to my waste bin, and the emptied it.
*Thought I'd try to install the trial version again, and that something might have gone wrong the first time around. When I tried that I was only redirected to the Creative cloud where the Premier Pro icon is still listed under installed apps.
*I then tried to uninstall Creative cloud and re-installed it in hopes that it would update and let me install Premiere Pro again, but the damn thing still thinks I have Premiere pro installed.
I'm really frustrated now, and have no idea what to try next. If adobe had some kind of phone support I'd call them, but this is the only place I have found when I try to click on support.
Please help if you can. I'm attending a course soon where I need to have premiere pro installed on my mac.

1st question would be what is your computer... Windows or Mac, and which EXACT operating system?

    Hi Kevin,
You might need to check with your internet settings and disable firewall (if any).
Also, please refer the following KB doc link and check if the given troubleshooting steps could help resolving the issue:

Nobody can know. Your information is far too vague - no system info, no other details. Just saying that it doesn't work is not conducive to providing assistance...

I am trying to download a free trial of PS first before I decide to purchase a subscription. Every time I try the Adobe application manager asks quits unexpectedly. I try to reopen and it just closes itself and PS won't download. Running on a MacBook Pro w/ OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

  • Unable to download Adobe Premiere in the Adobe Application Manager

I just bought a subscription but when I went to download Premiere, the Application Manager popped up but there wasnt an option to download it on there. I just went and double checked that I have Adobe Reader, Flashplayer, AIR and Shockplayer already downloaded. Am I missing something else?

Angelapetrelli45 please make sure you meet or exceed the system requirements for Premiere Pro CS6 listed at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-premiere-pro.html#Ad obe%20Premiere%20Pro%20CS6%20system%20requirements.
The Adobe Application Manager will not display applications which your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to run.  This is the likely reason why you do not see the program listed within AAM.

  • Why is the Adobe Application Manager in a language other than English?

I'm not sure if I accidently chose the wrong option when setting up my account, but the Adobe Application Manager seems to have all the text (other than product names) in what I think is German, not English. Is there a way to fix that for future downloads if needed?
Everything else seems to be working fine though.
    Gracias.

    Thanks!
Unfortunately, there are no prefs to change. (At least not in the usual spot where Preferences are supposed to be on a Mac running Snow Leopard…)

  • Trying to install Acrobat on a Vista laptop, but can't find the installation icon in the Adobe Application Manager

Hi, trying to get Acrobat installed on my Vista laptop but can't seem to find an icon for it in the Adobe Application manager.  I have a CC license and it installs fine on my Win7 but can't seem to figure out how to install it on my Vista laptop.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Normally if something does not appear in the download options it means the machine does not meet the tech specs for the product.  In this case, Vista is not in the tech specs for Acrobat Pro XI if that is what you are trying to install.  For whatever reason it skips from XP to Windows 7.

  • Update Failed - You are already running the Adobe Application Manager....

I'm on Mac OS 10.8.4. When I try to update InDesign CC to the latest version, the Adobe Application Manager launches and give me the following error:
    Update Failed
    Updates could not be applied
You are  already running the Adobe Application Manager. Please close all instances of Adobe Application Manager before applying updates.
So, I quit the AAM, verify that it's not running in Activity Monitor and relaunch it... to get the same error message. I haven't found a solution online, so I'm hoping someone can help me get past this.

Rfahl have you tried rebooting and then applying the update again?  If so, and you still receive the same error, then you may want to try installing the update in Safe Boot mode.  You can find more details for starting up in Safe Boot at OS X Lion: Start up in safe mode - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4373.

June 3rd 2014, I am seeing this. I am unable to reach Adobe server while packaging up Design and Web CS6. I have confirmed with Networking its not a firewall issue. Even stranger, our PC's are able to connect to the servers and update and download CC trials.
We are using Casper and an internal software update server for Adobe. Does anyone have any advice?
