Only syncs recurring entries

My MS outlook will not sync properly to my Iphone 3. It does not sink any appoinments which are not recurring. I've tried uninstalling and installing. I've tried deleting from my phone and starting again. I'm not sure what's going on. Anyone got any ideas? Also, itunes thinks there are two calendars which there are not.

Are you running Microsoft Office Service Pack 3?
If not please download and install this and try syncing again.
Also please ensure you are running iTunes 7.6.2.9

Outlook 2007 Calender Sync - Recurring Entries

So my iTunes Calender Sync all works pretty much perfectly with all my Apple Devices other than one point;
My past recrurring entries that I have cleared daily stay on the iPhone 4s and the iPad.
These are not shown in Outlook 2007 however and it's one of those small points that bugs the **** out of me.
Any ideas for a simple fix?

OK, have been reading advice and it is most helpful, here is where I am...In options when in Calender there were 2 email address calenders, and 1 Device Default calenders. I deleted the one email that had no calender entries per "Doc ID KB19240" re multple calender entries. The other email address has only the 2 test calender entries I made (on Blackberry) after losing everything in my outlook calender when syncing after Update. The Device Default calender appears to have the 135 entries I lost. Right now the email address is syncing, but the Device Default is not. I am afraid to delete the device default calender despite the fact that the article says that all entries will be transferred to the remaining calender. I looked for help in outlook 2007 to see if it has a way to pick which of the Blackberry calenders it syncs with and have not found that yet. Ahhh as I think about it, maybe I have to delete the remaining email calender account (CICAL) and Outlook will have no option but to sync the Device Default calender. I know it sounds easy to PPL that are used to working with computers and devices, but guys like me are afraid to push the wrong button, DOH! Let me know if you think that is the possible solution. Nokia Lumia 800 - sync calendar entries

Did anyone notice that Windows Live will only sync calendar entries within the last “2 weeks” to your lumia? It seems that Windows Live has limited the synchronization through their server. This has caused a lot of inconvenience as past calendar entries are also important.

Yes, I have noticed this - the more responses that users find this unsatisfactory the better and, hopefully, Microsoft/Nokia will address the problem.
There are many times when I need to refer to past items in my calendar, and a 15 day cut-off is unacceptable; I often go back 12 months! I also don't carry a laptop around with me, so logging in to my Windows Live or Google calendar is not an option - that was the reason for purchasing a smartphone.
The Nokia Lumia 800 phone has performed well for me in all other functions but this really does need to be fixed. Come on guys, listen to your users.

ITunes not syncing recurring appointments from Outlook

Not sure if its iTunes version 10.7.0.21 or the iPhone5, but when I make changes to a recurring appointment in Outlook (the single instance, not the series) it does not reflect on iPhone's Calendar. This was useful to me when I have a monthly bill reminder and was able to mark it 'paid', for example.
Previously I had an earlier version of iTunes and a 3GS.

I am having the same problem but I do not believe it is iTunes related as it only started to happen when I updated my iPad to IOS 6.
Recurring entries are not syncing.
My iPhone with IOS 5 still syncs Outlook recurring entries via the same copy of iTunes and Outlook on my PC.
This looks like a IOS 6 issue.

Recurring Entry for Vendor Line Items

We are using SAP ECC 5.0.
There are recurring entries to be processed, which run into 90+ line items. These line items include GLs as well as Vendor items.
Fast Entry and Account Assignment Model cannot be used as they accept only GL line items. Recurring entry also cannot be used as the amounts keep changing. Is there any other time saving way to make this entry? making the entry using F-02 is very time consuming and tedious.

One option is to develop a BDC and calling up the FB01 or F-02 posting. An excel template needs to be designed and can be used for upload of line items. Make changes in the amounts in the excel sheet and use the upload program to post.

What I don't understand is that your iTunes looks different from mine--just a little bit. You have 3 circles, red, yellow, and green, in the upper right end of the top bar. INstead I have a square that is half gray. When I click it, I get a menu very similar to the menu under "File."
The only place I see an entry for "Devices" is under "File," but it only gives the 4 options I mentioned before (see below). There is no "Summary."
Here's another screen shot after I added an album to music. Now all the choices under "Devices" are grayed.

Recently when syncronising it only updates recurring calandar items and not normal appointments into the phone.

I use the Google Calendars for pretty much everything, and the "Goosync" service to synchronise it with my mobile...
That way you can create an event in the Google Calendar, and set it to repeat as you wish... Then sync it to your mobile...
There's probably other ways, but it's not a big issue for me, so that suits me fine

For recurring entries, system wants doc. no. range X1, but on the other hand, only numerical number ranges are allowed to be defined.
Please note that the error given is, "In company code ABC, the number range X1 is missing for the year 2007".

Account Assignment model is a template used for document creation in which default values are provided for the posting of a business transaction.
An account assignment model may contain any number of G/L line items, and can be changed or enhanced as needed. Unlike sample documents, account assignment models may contain incomplete G/L line items.
A recurring entry is when an expense is distributed thru out the year or for selected period. You create the entry once and execute it during period end closing. Posting happens to related accounts only on execution in the period concerned.

Recurring entries with variable amounts

Hi ,
How can we handle recurring entries with different amounts regularly. As an e.g. of this scenario "Telephone bills/electricity bills are paid every month and we need to automate the same but their amounts would be different ".
I believe recurring entries could do only for same amounts, so I doubt if this can be used. Account determination template - my guess is how flexible it could be? Do we have any other approach to handle this?

If you have variable amounts every month, it is easier to use sample document, not recurring entries.

I have a playlist that I only sync to my iPhone once a year (Christmas Music). I checked it on the list to sync, along with all my other playlists but when I Apply it and Sync it, the Christmas Music Playlist does not show up. It showed up one time with only 2 of 238 songs. Then it showed up with the music in the iCloud, but would only play 3 songs and would skip through a bunch of songs ending up on only those 3 songs. I can't tell you how many times I have "Synced" my phone trying to get the Christmas Playlist to show up. I changed the name, deleted the playlist and reinstalled it, deleted it on the phone and tried to reinstall it on the phone manually. Can't get it to work. Christmas will be over and I will not be able to listen to my music. THX, Lynn

I had a very similar issue (same playlist). After several frustrating hours of various combinations I was able to sync by changing the options to "manuall sync.." and then "dragging and dropping" the needed playlist from the iTunes Playlist list to the iPhone button (on my itunes setup/view that was from the far left column list of all of my playlist in iTunes to the far upper right "iPhone" button). To sum up "checking" the playlist and syncing didnt work, "drag and droping" the playlist did... at least for now... then I unselected the "manually manage" in the options and re-synced and all playlist were synced correctly. New computer only syncs itunes music from ipod but i have other songs not purchased from itunes that does not show up in new computer

i used to have 900+ songs stored on my HP laptop, which i can no longer use and bought new toshiba laptop. when i tried to synce 900 songs from iPOD to the toshiba it only gave me 330 songs and not the entire library stored on the iPOD. have tried sync from iCLOUD as well as importing & exporting songs as shown in the drop down menu from iTUNES, but unable to do the sync process successfully!? do i have to manually reload every song i have already burned to CD onto new toshiba? am i or did i already do something wrong to prevent what should have been an easy sync?? am retired and techno-challenged. really need clear to follow instructions. any help will be more than greatly appreciated...

You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. To make the new computer the syncing computer:

Exchange email will only sync over WiFi on iPhone 6

We use iPhones with our Exchange 2010 SP3 servers for email through activesync.
We've recently bought three iPhone 6 handsets and have set them up in exactly the same way as before - we have a mobileconfig file that runs users through the setup.
On one of them email will only sync correctly when the user is in our office and connected to our internal WiFi.
When he's using a 3g connection no new emails are delivered, though he doesn't get any error messages - it appears to sync ok, as though there are no new emails for him. Reconnect to our WiFi and email flows as normal.
I don't believe we have any DNS issues as email is working just fine for everyone else in and out of our network.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour, and ideally fixed it?

I had this exact same problem with Email that would only sync while on company's internal wifi for my iphone 6, despite it working perfectly with my other device. Checked the settings on both devices and they were all the same. While looking online for a fix I noticed there are a lot of people with this issue, unfortunately none of the "fixes" worked for me.
Originally I had my iPhone 6 setup to match the settings on my iPad with the server name "exchange.company.com". This gave me all the check marks as expected, but it wouldn't update unless on internal wifi. I was able to get my iphone 6 working by adjusting the server name in the account settings. After I adjusted the server name to be "outlook.company.com", I got the same checkmarks and my email is now working perfectly.
Not sure why it is different between the two devices but since it has solved my issue I will ignore that portion. Hope this helps.

I downloaded a movie to the wrong library by accident. now i can't put the movie on my husband's ipod because it says it can only sync to one library at a time. how do i fix this? i don't want to get rid of the old videos, i just want to add new ones

It appears that something happened to yur computer/iTunes files. It happens sometimes. To recovery:
- Import the old music into the current iTunes library
- Make sure all the apps are also in the library
- If in the USA and therplaces where iCloud has benn released you can redownload most iTunes puchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- You can always redownload apps at no additional cost as long as you are singned into the same iTunes account the originally purchased them.
- After all the suff in in the iTunes library, make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes.
- Restore the iPod from backup and restore as necessary.
