Only thumbnail photos when sending by Mail

When I want to send a photo I select the photo(s), click "mail", select what size and an email is created with the photos in it. However, since recently it only creates a thumbnail in the email and not my selected photo size. Even when I save the photo in "documents" and select "attachment" when creating a new email it also puts in a thumbnail only. When checking a sent email it does show a photo of e.g. 50 Kb was sent whilst I selected e.g. 800+ Kb. At this moment I can't send photos anymore, anyone knows why and how I can get this sorted?
I use iPhoto '09 and Mac 10.5.8.

Remove geo-tag from iPhone photos when sending via Mail

I sometimes send companies/people photos I've taken with my iPhone. It is convenient to take them, and send them.
However, I've noticed that the geo-tag is not stripped from the photos when sent via Mail.app
Technically, one could figure out where I live with it — not comfortable with that. I like the feature for my collection in iPhoto, but nowhere else. Facebook strips it out (smartly).
Any suggestions apart from using 3rd party apps?

Thanks guys, but I know I can disable it for future pictures — but I want to keep it for most pictures, but also feel safe that when I'm sharing them, that this information is stripped out.

I have a thumbnail size photo, on the right hand side when i send emails, it is not visable when typing the email but it is always sent with the outgoing mail, how can i delete this?

The photo will not be sent with your email, so there is no need to remove it.

When sending e-mail, a message says that the sent folder is full,-- even though it is not-- however the mail still gets sent. No problem sending mail to myself

I am running Thunderbird version 33.1 Recently, when sending e-mail, I get an error message indicating that the sent folder is full and that I should empty or compress it to fix the problem-- so I emptied it-- problem remains. Also, there is no record of sending the e-mail in the sent folder, even though the mail has been sent. No such problems occur when I send mail to myself.
Any suggestions ???

If you deleted some of the messages you have done one half of the process. Deleting a message just marks it for deletion and hides it from view. You have to COMPACT the folder to actually delete the messages and free up the space.
I agree that Thunderbird did a poor job naming this process because it is the subject of much misunderstanding.

Fast user switching is on... I use the Name reference but I've tried switching to icon with the same result. If the a account I'm switching to is not logged in I get a blank Blue screen for about 2 seconds then the desktop of the account. If the account is already logged in then from the login window (all accounts have passwords) it just switches directly to the desktop.
I have spaces turned on on my main account however none of the other accounts do, the same thing happens regardless of which account you are switching from or to.
If you hadn't said it was working for you I would have believe they just pulled it from Leopard.

Mail app quit making sounds when sending/receiving mail. It was fine yesterday and just went mute today. I have Mac OSX 10.7.2 and a MacBook Air. Is there any way to fix this easily?

At times I can't bring up my contact list when sending E mail. It says contact list error code. I can bring up my contact list when I use internet explorer. Sometimes fire fox crashes for no apparent reason ....

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

Mail.jar is locked when sending a mail using servlet and not releasing

The mail.jar is locked in tomcat while sending the first message and not released until the tomcat get restarts.
the problem is not recorded in any logs.
1. Please create a servlet that sends mail
2. Send a mail to any mailid
3. then after the mail is send please try to delete the mail.jar or please deploy the same servlet again with some small changes (for redeploying take place only a few changes is there - please change any strings a little bit)
then try to send mail using this servlet will not send mail becoause it will not redployed correctely.
when i removed Transport.send(msg); from code it works fine. but ??
please help me to recover from this issue. i don't want to turn on tomcat antiJarlocking and antiresourcelocking to true, becaouse this craete many other problems.

I am using advanced version of jdk. i i have used many other jar files like mysqlconnector, logging, commonhttpclient, etc.... the only problem is with mail.jar. that locks are released when its use completed, but the lock holds until tomcat shutdown in mail.jar.
what may be the reason?

When sending/receiving Mail seems to handl more mails than my traffic

When I press "Get Mail", or when I send a mail, the send/receive activity shows in the lower left corner of the screen.
What makes me wonder is the fact that sometimes "mail activity" for instance says: "getting x mails of 10" although I only receive say, 6 mails in my inbox.
And the same thing happens the other way around. When I send one email, mail-activity could say: "sending 2 of 2 mails" although I am only sending one mail!
Does anybody have an idea as to why this odd behaviour occurs?

Problems when sending e-mails to a large number of...

Hello, I've noticed that I have a problem sending e-mails to multiple users, such as when I choose a group to send to instead of single users.
Also, when I reply to all, I can see all the recipients and the subject (everything is still intact when I check my sent messages after it's sent as well), but when I log onto my Gmail and check, the sent e-mail has no subject and is only sent to a few of the recipients.
Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

When attempting to send e-mails w/ attacments, the systems stalls out, just keeps spinning, problem does not occur with exporer.
Also when trying to attch pics, same thing

No need to be inhappy.
iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> Accounts ->
Delete and recreate your email settings.
Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.
There's no need to go through that exporting routine. Your iPhoto Library is available in every app. See this for more:
