Only two work

i have just a new computer with a great soundcard and got a set of the inspire T6160 and after setting them up and trying to play music, games and movies on my computer discoverd only the ones pluged into the 2 front slots worked. how can i get it so all five speakers work at once?

Are you using a Creative sound card? You might want to enable the CMSS feature. Please note that music files such as MP3 songs and CDs are in stereo format, that means you will only get sound from the 2 front speakers.

Inspire 5200 5.1 speakers only two working

Hello,
I recently bought the inspire 5200 5.1 speakers. I connected everything properly and well tried them, but I got output from the front left and right speakers. The center speaker, and the left and right rear speakers produced no output.
Then I bought a 6 channel sound card, and tried to hook everything up again, but it was still the same result. All the speakers are working cause I tried them all. It seems that the lower panel insertion points for speakers don't seem to be working, or it's something that I am missing out.

You may have to check with your sound card manufacturer for special setting to upmix the Stereo to the rest of the speaker.
If you are using Creative 5.1 sound card, you can refer to the link for the CMSS upmix feature.

Need only two decimal places, but BigDecimal isn't working

Hello again. This time I've got a problem with getting only two decimal places. I tried using BigDecimal but when I compile it, I get an error "cannot find symbol class BigDecimal" and a "cannot find symbol variable BigDecimal".
Grrr... I just want my value to have only 2 decimal places before it ends up in my text field.
Any help will be appreciated.

Isn't it better to import whole packages instead so
you can have everything available when you call them?
I mean, it's kinda hard to import individual classes
everytime you need to call them.No. You can get conflicts when importing complete packages. If you importjava.awt.*;

Only two channels of 5.1 work

I have Sound Blaster Li've 5. and "Creative Inspire 5. Digital 5700" speaker system.
"Inspire" system is connected to SB Li've via digital DIN.
Options of "Creative Audio HQ" software are set to "5. Speakers". All speakers of "Inspire" system are working well.
The problem is: only two channels (right front and left front) of nedded 5. come to "Inspire" system from SB.

HT4279 Only two screens will work on my 5870 Radeon

I have a 6 core 3.33Ghz Mac pro running latest lion software. Just fitted a 5870 Radeon.
Only two of the three screens will work at any one time. A 24" Apple Cinema HD (Dvi) and two Dell 1708FP (these have an DVi to mini port adaptor each).
I have swopped them round to all possible configurations. Changed leads etc etc.
Can anyone help please

To get three screens to work with adapters, all adapters must be ACTIVE, POWERED adapters. Apple Dual-Link adapters for this job work fine, but are pricey. These are more that ATI has tested:

Only two of three monitors working since upgrading to 10.9.3

Only two of my three monitors work since installing 10.9.3. I want to roll back to 10.9.2. How should I do this?

I had already tried that configuration. It was working fine until I upgraded to 10:9.3. If I boot into the recovery disk volume, all three monitors work. If I boot from a backup/clone of my drive prior to installing 10.9.3, all monitors work fine.
Any other suggestions will be welcomed.

Solution to only TWO USB ports, please

I should have paid more attention when I bought my Mac. I didn't realize there were only TWO USB ports on board. My job requires me to be mobile, and on any given day, I could be using up to 10 USB ports. I know they make hubs, one of which I've tried, but it didn't work. Does anyone recommend a particular brand of hub that's RELIABLE and can handle both input and output?
I'm stunned that Apple would have just 2 USB ports. My old Dell had 4, and if I remember right, I could have specified even more when they were building it.

Yes, that's the ExpressCard/34 port (labeled in this linked image). The ExpressCard port also be used for media card readers, WAN (wireless broadband) cards, etc. Good for a USB expansion hub because it's a small form factor and won't take up one of the two existing USB ports.

Pages problem - Only two fonts available in the Fonts window.

Would love some help on this one.
I am working in pages and when I bring up the Fonts window there are only two choices available (either with some text/object selected or not) - Helvetica 12.0 pt and Helvetica 9.0 pt. That's it. Nothing else.
Same thing no matter how many new documents I start with.. even opening templates presents no more options. The template fonts are in the template itself, can be selected and even prevew in the for window but are not in the list to be selected.
I tried resetting the font cache via these instructions -

I have just connected my new apple tv, in the main menu I see only two icons; "computers" and "settings". Where do I find the icons for internet, movies etc. We do not live in the US..

The unit has full WiFi access with no problems, I can access ITunes on my laptop via home sharing no problem.

Reading through the threads my take is
There seems to be something awry with wifi chipset. Typical symptoms are initially being able to connect to connect to a Wifi network then the connection is dropped. Then you see just the 'computers' and 'settings' icons on screen
Power off, reset and factory restore doesnt seem to solve it
Occasionally its nearby antenna cables etc causing interference
One report with convincing evidence it was the HDMI cable, swapping to anotehr cable fixed the problem
Plugging in ethernet works, this is purely a wifi issue
Sometimes plugging in ethernet temporararily wakes up the wifi
Many people seem to have exchanged their units only for the same thing to happen to the new unit a few weeks later. Just wondering if its a fomponent fail or heat issue.

Drag and Drop game with only two targets

I created a drag and drop activity where their are five boxes that are supposed to go in to two columns in any order. I found a tutorial online that I based this activity off of.
The problem is that the tutorial shows you how to make a target for each mc which has worked for all the activities I've made except for this one where I need only two targets. How would I change it so I can have multiple mc's drop on to one target?

W520 - why only two external monitors? Anyone from Lenovo?

    From what I can gather, the W520 does not have "hybrid Optimus" mode and hence can drive only two external monitors, even when connected to the mini-dock.
    Can anyone (from Lenovo?) tell me if this a hardware or software issue?Is an update to change this possible?
    Why did Lenovo make this disappointing choice?

The first document says 3 of the 5 display connectors on the dock can be used at the same time. In the second document, the W520 is nowhere to be found on the quad display sections.
Could we get clarification if this is working as designed on the W520 (only 2 connection active from the dock) or a bug and it should do three?

Sccm 2012 Only two actions on cleints actions can not find any errors

We have deployed sccm 2012 sp1 with cu2
everything was working ok then it all suddenly it stopped working for new client's . The client installs ok but there are only two action in on the client actions. Clients find the site code ok and logs look ok as far as we can tell
We did move are dns from windows hosted dns to a third part appliance around the same time but all cleitns still have vlid dns entries . the managmeopt point is still in the underscore records in dns
we have checked ClientLocation.log, LocationServices.log, ClientIDManagerStartup.log and ccmexec.log and there are no errors we can see.
the sccm console reports all services as green
We are running with PKi all certs are still valid and new clients are still receiving valid certficates
any ideas or pointers?

Hi we fixed this this in the end by this incase its any help to any one else
look in the MP_Policy.log on the site server
see if you have any these errors
Detected at least one row in the result set from PolicyAssignment table which does not have a Signature, rejecting all rows.
if so connect to the sql server and run this sql
run this check
SELECT * FROM ResPolicyMap WHERE machineid = 0 and PADBID IN (SELECT PADBID FROM PolicyAssignment WHERE BodyHash IS NULL)
if any errors found run this
To delete:
Delete FROM ResPolicyMap WHERE machineid = 0 and PADBID IN (SELECT PADBID FROM PolicyAssignment WHERE BodyHash IS NULL)
then rerun check

When i try to play a youtube video it plays for only two seconds

when i try to play a youtube video it plays for only two seconds with sound but the screen stays black. it takes a little more time for the video to load also. then it crashes which ever internet program i am using. But whenever i turn off my plug-ins it works totally fine. how do i fix this? this has never happened to me before. i tried to uninstall flash player and reinstall but it fixes nothing, this has been going on for two days now.
i use safari and firefox and both dont work

Created 2 slideshows, but only 1 works??

I have created two slideshows, but only one works. I have
reverted back to the tradisional tile layout of images of the one
that does not work, but that is not what my client wants.

I am using the same player in both cases. I have tested both
on my laptop using all browsers I could think of. After I FPT'ed
the files to the hositng server, the Gallery does not display
anything in the "Image Viewer". Thumnails, headers, etc are
displayed.
Any suggestions? I am at a complete loss.
P.S.: I am using Fireworks and Dreamweaver CS3.

Hello, I am considering getting a Tm2. However, I read on the web somewhere that the tm2 only supports two finger gesture. This confuses me because the older Tx2 apparently supports up to four finger gesture after installing this driver:

Just to confirm if it's only two fingers for Tm2 and if so, will there be any plan by HP to introduce a driver that will allow the TM2 to support more than two fingers? Would be a shame if they don't as I plan to use Bumptop a lot, and 2 fingers limitation would severely limit the gesture inputs. Thanks!
