OnPlus Portal Logins fail
Dear OnPlus Users,
You may have briefly experienced a problem logging into cisco-onplus.com and/or onplusbeta.com. This issue has now been fixed, and Cisco OnPlus is now fully functional.
We thank you for your cooperation during our resolution of this issue.
OnPlus site status is available on our Service Health Status page at: www.checkonplus.com .
Thank you,
Anna
I actually did find a solution to my request for the ability to always sort by a different column, other than Created On Date. I selected Customize on the Overview page and unselected the Create On Date column. Then I sorted by the Company Name, which was the one I desired. So far, after closing out and going back in numerous times, it seems to keep that setting.

Anyone experienced an issue with the Portal lately on login, where you get the error message "Your account is still processing, please try again later"..? This isn't a new account, it's been up and running with OnPlus for over a year.
Thanks

Now nobody can log into portal.
How am i suppose to correct that entry? Is there any way to do it using Visual Administrator?

I didn't deleted any entries in the master rule.
To access Content admin using below direct 1st URL, once you logon into the url and then enter second url and modify the master rule.

Portal login fails without error
Hello
We are working with Oracle Application Server 10g on Linux. Currently we have some problems with login through the login portlet.
After starting the Application Server, the login goes right. But after some time of inactivity (about 1h) it is no longer possible to login. After clicking the Login button of the login portlet some time goes on but nothing happens. No error message or something else appears.
Has someone else such a problem?
Can anybody help me?

We need to run some checks against our business rules at login
time so I have written a custom login page which calls a custom
procedure. The procedure determines how much access the user is
entitled to and sets the users group memmbership accordingly.
Finally I call the Portal login procedure with the username and
password that the user provided:
portal30.wwptl_login.login_url(USERNAME,
PASSWORD,
OK_URL,
cancel_URL);
This works ok if the user has typed in a valid username +
password. But if the Portal login fails the user gets thrown to
the Single Sign-On screen. If the user now fixes his typo and
log in again he/she bypasses the whole custom login procedure...
The only way I can think of right now is to change the Single
Sign-On screen, which I know is possible. But that will apply to
the whole Portal installation and we do need several different
custom login's, similar to the one outlined above. So we would
have to change the Single Sign-On screen just have some text
telling the user to login using one of the official login pages.
Not very nice - but a possible solution.
It would be nice if you could specify a URL to the login
procedure for the case of a failed login. Is this something that
is being concidered for future versions of Portal?
Hmmm.. in case a user bookmarks a page that is not public he/she
will still be taken to the Single Sign-On page to login. Guess
we have to change the Single Sign-On screen after all..
Any other ideas? You should develop customized login page according to the
specification provided in the SSO Server administrator guideHello
Where can i find the SSO Server administrator guide ??
Thanks

In Portal Anonymous mode - Change password option not coming- login fails
Hi Experts,
We are having some application which requires login in anonymous mode. When we click the application and give the user id password, it loggs in properly, there is no problem in that.
But if the password is reset by administrator, then when entering the reset password given by admin it should ask to change the password. This is happening in normal scenario(/irj/portal), but when try the same in anonymous mode(irj/portal/anonymous) where the prompt is from the login required application, then it says login failed instead of giving the change password and confirm password screen.
Appreciate your help in solving this issue. I hope many would have faced similar situation.
Thanks
YusufHi Yusuf.
Do you use a standard or custom login module for your application?
More likely the used login module does not have a logic that handles such scenario as a change of user's password.
In this case you need to implement a custom module with a required functionality.

Hi Everyone!
I am configuring an asa 5520 (Software Version 8.2(5)) serveral clientless connection profiles and ACS 5.3 as an authentication server, this works well users on AD or local can establish a vpn connection without problem, but now i need to show just one profile (common for everybody) on the ASA portal and behind scene allocate to right connection profile depending on the authorization profile of the user, i followed the following document
"VPN group lock using ACS 5.x.pdf", but it does not work as expected, it keeps showing "login failed"
So i took a look on the ACS on radius authentication and the user is authenticated, i did a debug aaa common 255, debug radius all
everything seem to be ok, but when i use debug webvpn 255
it shows me the following message

JonathanJonathan,
The issue is clear, your users are not connecting to the right profile.
Please check this out:
ASA 8.x: Allow Users to Select a Group at WebVPN Login via Group-Alias and Group-URL Method
The idea of having ACS authorization is to assign a specific group-policy according to probably Radius attribute 25, but if you have it working in conjuction with the "group-lock" feature, then you need to make sure that the users connect to the correct connection profile, otherwise the group-policy will not allow the connection.
For instance:
group-policy test attributes
group-lock testGroup
tunnel-group testGroup general-attributes
default-group-policy test
tunnel-group testGroup webvpn attributes
group-url https://1.1.1.1/testGroup enable
So if a user connects to a different profile which is not the testGroup and gets the group-policy named test, then the connection is going to be rejected.

Hello Community
Edit My Profile in My Site displayed an error that "An unexpected error occurred" with a
Correlation ID. I have tried to read the logs in the 14 hive Logs folder but unsuccessfully.
I was able to understand Event Viewer logs, there was supposed to be 4 possibilities
one was wheter UPS was running, the other was clearing the cache and the other 2 I also fixed
I even recreated the Search Service Application, Metadata and UPS but when I fixed the problems
the error still occurred.
Then I used a Powershell command that displayed output but the Output doesn't make sense
because it is saying the login failed associated with the database that was created by the Search
Service application when it was created.
But how can that username be related to the Search Service database? Below is the output:

SPNego - LOGIN.FAILED error
Hello,
Hello gurus,
we have installed BI 7.0 SP15 with Portal as the java side of the BI (double stack). We have CI + 3 dia instances.
We get the following error only on the CI server:
LOGIN.FAILED
User: N/A
Authentication Stack: com.sun.security.jgss.accept
Login Module Flag Initialize Login Commit Abort Details
1. com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule OPTIONAL ok exception false null
2. com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule OPTIONAL ok false
3. com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule OPTIONAL ok false
The problem is that the SPNego authentication is not working on that server, we get the logon screen. On the other servers the authentication is working perfectly.
What I've checked:
*The spn is set correctly.
*The wizard was configured.
Please advice,

Portal authentication failing intermittently post self registration
We are in the process of upgrading from EP6 to EP7 and have hit a critical authentication problem that is proving difficult to diagnose and resolve.
Our self registration process leads straight into user logon:
1) the user fills in the registration form with their user ID, password etc and selects Submit which creates the user ID in our R/3 user store
2) the user is presented with text informing them that their registration has been successful and a Proceed button which when selected authenticates them with the portal with their newly created user ID
Step 2) above is working intermittently in our EP7 system - sometimes the process works exactly as expected others an exception is raised (com.sap.security.core.logon.imp.UMELoginException: USER_AUTH_FAILED).
It seems as though the cause is that the user creation process has not completed fully before the logon step.
We tried implementing a wait step (10 seconds) following selection of the Proceed button which reduced the incidence rate of the problem but didn't cure it entirely.
A possible contributing factor is hardware performance as we are testing the upgrade on an impact analysis system which is not as efficient as our live portal landscape.
I've pasted the code which performs the authentication and extracts from the DIAGTOOL portal logs below which show the login module configuration (SAP standard I believe).
Any help/advice what to try next would be greatly appreciated as we are running out of ideas.
Thanks,
Alan

USER_AUTH_FAILEDWe are in the process of upgrading from EP6 to EP7 and have hit a critical authentication problem that is proving difficult to diagnose and resolve.
Thanks,
Alan
The following code performs the authentication and redirection to the portal user's home page:

req.setAttribute(
ILoginConstants.LOGON_UID_ALIAS,
SelfRegBean.getLogonUid());
req.setAttribute(
ILoginConstants.LOGON_PWD_ALIAS,

Subject subject = null;
try {

USER_AUTH_FAILED -
Dear friends,
I used to login to JDI using below URL with out any problem:
http://<host name>:51000/devinf/main
Since 3 days, it is not accepting the logins which I am providing. I could able to login to portal using the same user id and password.
It is throughing Login failed error message.
What could be the reason? How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks and regards,
LakshmikanthaiahHi Lakshmikanthaiah,
1. Check if the server is up
2. Sometimes even if the server is up the DB might be down and hence log on fails
3. Check if your user is locked

User login fails : password expired
Dear portal-gurus,
We're having an issue with our portal 6.0 SP15 installation. When the administrator creates a new user and that user tries to login, the error message is : password expired (no chance for the user to change / reset / his password, although this setting is enabled in the security tab).
When a user registers himself on the portal login page he can successfully login / change his password / etc.
Any help would be very appreciated !
Thanks in advance,
Stefaan OvaereThanks a lot for this information... BUT...
When I try http://<server>:<port>/index.html UME asks my user to change his password. So that works. However, on the standard login page, the only message is password expired or authorization failed (for new users created by the administrator).
In the security.log file I can find :
#1.5#0014224913690069000000180000126C00040BE085A1BE39#1138958849548#/System/Security/Audit#sap.com/irj#com.sap.security.core.util.SecurityAudit#Guest#0####4bea74c0949711daa2a8001422491369#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_20##0#0#Warning#1#com.sap.security.core.util.SecurityAudit#Plain###Guest | LOGIN.ERROR | NONE = null | | Login Method=[default], UserID=[stova], IP Address=[192.168.22.141], Reason=[Access Denied.]#
But I have no clue to what this is related ! Changing the security login policy ( allow change password ) on TRUE or FALSE seems to have no effect.
We do not use LDAP... so we're talking about pure portal users.
Thanks a lot for your help,

Login failed for user 'MgmtSvc-AdminAPI' because the account is currently locked out.
We are getting the following error on our SMA web service machine in the mgmtsvc-adminapi log file. Im guessing I could have also posted this in the WAP forum. Any ideas on what would cause this?
Also, we noticed the connection strings in the adminapi site are encrypted as well so not sure what the credentials are that WAP adminapi is using.
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Login failed for user 'MgmtSvc-AdminAPI' because the account is currently locked out. The system administrator can unlock it.
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection, Action`1 wrapCloseInAction)
Thanks LanceJust had this error happen again. THis is the account that microsoft configured during the WAP portal install. The connection strings in the web.config for the adminapi site is encrypted so you cant see the credentials.
The WAP install didnt create local computer user but does create SQL Auth user with the name of MgmtSvc-AdminAPI
