Onyx "Automation" tab.. does it include every other tab?

Does the Onyx 'Automation' tab cover all the selections you have checked off in all the other tabs? (such as Maintenance, Cleaning, etc)
I noticed that the Automation tab seems to cover a lot of it, but I wasn't sure if it meant that it was checking to see what you had checked off in every other tab and then running all of those selections under one 'sweep'.. The reason I ask is because there are some options on the individual tabs that I'd like to happen during "Automation", but wasn't sure if they would be included or if I had to run those smaller options within each tab separately..
Thoughts?

There is never anything that warrants "Auto" or "Full" or any similar adverb when discussing "cleaning", "optimizing", "protecting," or "maintaining" your Mac.
If you have problems that need to be corrected by using one of the tools bundled into individual "Maintenance" programs, then use that specific function. If you don't know why you are running any of the individual functions, then don't.
For instance, if you have crapware slowing down you system, and you enable "Cache Cleaning" in some "repair" utility, it is likely the caches aren't the problem. Now, you have crapware slowing down the OS, and the OS is slowed down by trying to restore the caches it had built to speed itself up.

You can create a folder with the home pages by using "Bookmark All Tabs" to open a specific page.
You can place that folder on the bookmarks toolbar or use the Bookmarks menu button that you can find in the toolbar palette to get access to that folder easily.

K7N2 Delta2 Does not Post Every Other Boot

I have built a PC with a K7N2 Delta2-LSR mb and it fails to post on every other boot. When it does post, everything works fine. It makes no difference whether the boot is warm or cold, and it does not vary in frequency (it is always every other boot).
Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem. (sorry for my english)
When i switch on my pc, nothing hapend.... freeze.... The power led and the hdd led on and the screen stay off. I need to unplug the power wire and then plug it again to turn on the pc.

A particular website doesnt open up on my macbook pro.But it does open on every other laptop in my home.

I am using Firefox 3.6 on my PC , and now, when I select File New Tab (Ctrl+T), no new Tab shows up. Nor does it show up when I click the new Tab symbol next to my other tabs. How can I get the New Tab feature to work again?

In the past 48 hrs, all of a sudden, the New Tab feature on my PC< using Firefox 3.56, simply stopped working. I did not change settings, or download a new version of Firefox. it just stopped working. Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

Does OSX Include Any Other Programs That Can Record Audio....

...besides Garageband. I will be getting a MacBook in a day or two and I didn't plan on installing GarageBand because it takes up so much space and the only thing I would ever use it for is recording speech. Does OS X include another program that can record speech? If not, what are some good free Apps that would do the job (and not take up too much HD space)?

QuickTime Player Pro will record. It is not free but will not use up any disk space, since it is just a key to enable features on software already installed.

When I get on the internet using firefox, it is real slow as numerous tabs are dispayed. never had this problem in past. If I right clisk on one of the tabs and click on "close other tabs" it does, but next time I get onto Firefox the same thing happens.

Last week Firefox would not open at all so I got onto the internet using windows explorer. I then wen to firefox and downloaded it. since then I hav had this problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

What is wrong when clicking on the "+" tab does not create a new tab?

Suddenly, the "+" tab, when clicked on, does nothing. Right-clicking on the "+" and choosing "new tab" fails to function. All 5 boxes under Tools/Options/Tabs are enabled. What do I need to do to re-enable the new tab function?

Display jitters, shakes, dances every other startup

When I start up, you can see all the usual startup images, except they are all jittering in a staticky way. Even on a solid gray screen, I see the jittering around the edges.
Most of the time, it gets through and I can select "Restart" from the dropdown menu. But sometimes it doesn't, and gets stuck on a gray screen and makes the loud whirring sound - so I have to hold down the power button.
Upon restarting, it's usually just fine. But I can be sure the jittering will be back on the next startup or the next wake up from Sleep. It seems like interference, but then why does it work every other startup?

this means that your dimm0 slot (which is actually your slot number 1) is detecting an error. hopefully it is just the ram module itself. try removing the ram from the dimm0 slot to see if the machine returns to normal. your user guide might explain how to install and remove ram. if not, post back with more details concerning your computer. you can find info by going to the system profiler (about this mac) and then going to "more info" and then looking at the hardware overview. it will tell you the processor speed, amount of memory, etc. [ 8 ) ]

Since upgrading (FF29.0-Windows 8.0), only the active tab on any given Firefox window has the website name;other tabs have no name,only site logo. How do I fix?

I recently upgraded to Firefox 29.0 (running Windows 8.0). Since upgrading, only the active tab on any given Firefox window has the site name. All other inactive tabs generally have a site logo on the left side of the tab, but none of the other tabs have the website name. If I push Alt + Tab to cycle through the windows, the website name will then show up on each tab, but once I select a window to work in the website names disappear from the tabs again, except for the active tab. Is this a feature of the upgrade? Is there a setting to have the site names appear? I would really like to have the ability to see what site is on each tab without selecting.

When i close an open tab, other tabs that are open unexpectedly close as well.

i often have many open tabs, which show below the quick-launch bar. when i attempt to close one [e.g., three mozilla tabs about different subjects] others close with only a warning, something like, "closing this tab will also close 6 other tabs."
another example: google calendar, which sometimes ends up with three open tabs below quick launch, even when i select google calendar from the bookmark toolbar.
i hope this is not convoluted. i tried my best to explain my dilemma.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Drilldown in new tab instead of in the same tab

I have one tab\page with report, which display some column with hierarchy data (country).
The pivot table header looks like: day, measure1, measure2.
where each measure column is divided to several columns based on countries number: country 1, country 2, country 3.
When you click on sepecific country, the view is refreshed. The table is look the same but instead of countries I now see cities in the selected country: columns for city1, city2, etc'.
The issue is that the refreshed view is open in new tab and all other tabs disappeared.
At the bottom there is 'return' link, but I don't want this behaviour.
How can I configure the drill down to be at the same tab and keep showing all other tabs as well?

If it is not navigation then it must be dimesional hierarchy in Admin tool.If you are clicking one column and same report open in another page with one additional column it means there is dimensional hierarchy in place.
In that casee go to section properties and check 'Drill in Place'.
It will open the report in same page.

How to highlight selected tab instead of getting the first tab by defaultly

Hi All ,
I had one problem with the Jquery accordian. When I am selecting one tab in Jquery accordian then that tab is not getting highlited.
By defaultly the first tab is getting highlited or selected. The page for that selected tab is opening but the tab is not opening. By defaultly the first tab in accordian is getting selected.
Can some one help me on this.

My question is like when we click on the first tab in the accordian then that page will open and in the accordian the 1st tab will be opened and other tabs r closed in the jquery accordian. But in the same way when i am selecting the 2nd tab or other tabs in the accordian then that particular tab is not opening even in that case also the 1st tab is opening and the selected tab is not opening.

Why does iTunes crash every time the "books" tab is opened

Has anyone had the problem of iTunes crashing every time the "books" tab is selected? Every time I open that tab and begin to browse the contents iTunes give the message that "iTunes has stopped working" "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program an notify you if a solution is available." This has been happening ever since I upgraded from iTunes 9 to iTunes 10.

Why does my itunes summary show so much in the 'other' tab

while tryng to synch my iphone, it told me i didnt have enough room for my 5 new songs, that i need over 3mb to do this. then i took a whole bunch of stuff off my phone including ALL of my music, (and fb!)and the 'other' in my summary tab shot up to 7.14 gb!!!! that's almost half my 16 gb! what does the 'other' tab mean?

Try out these steps to resolve the issue:
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
Restore using iTunes.
