OOK amplitude range, need to operate beyond it

I'm trying use NI PXI-5650 RF Signal Generator to generate on-off-keying modulated signal on 1090 MHz. But, as described on Page 14 of NI PXI-5650/5651/5652 Specifications I can operate from –9.5 to 10 dBm when using this modulation type. I'm looking for the most rational and affordable way to achieve amplitude range down to -100 dBm. Attenuator maybe? Or some third-party generator? For PXI, not PXI-e.

Typically you would send the signal to an external attenuator like the PXI 5695

As you can probably see, this offers 60dB of attentuation. To achieve 100dBm you would need two. 100dB is a lot of attentuation. Keep in mind, at these levels, you are entering the realm where noise may pose a lot of challenges. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
(I can't speak for 3rd party products, I'm not familiar with their capablilies.)

SIM card is needed to operate, please insert ???

My phone worked for me all the way to work, while sitting in my console...then i get to work and it says that a SIM card is needed to operate and that I need to turn it off and insert...well as other Razr owners know, you can't remove the SIM card...why is it doing this for no reason?
Honest that I haven't dropped it or anything..literally it just sat in the console..

It's the battery that can't be removed. Try turning off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a few minutes, then re-insert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and give it a couple of minutes to re-establish a network connection. If that doesn't work, the SIM card may have somehow become corrupted and you'll need a new one (they're free at your local Corporate Verizon store). Report for a range, need to sent individually for a distribution list

I have requirement to run a concurrent request for range of values like for e g. conc program to print for a range POs and send Emails to a distribution lists. Right now we are able to generate .pdf output and enable Emailing thru XMLP. We are achieving this by calling a java wrapper program by defining a virtual printer. But thats not the solution, we need to take individual output for each PO and send EMails to respective distribution list. To my knowledge passing distribution list as parameter is not possible as only $profile$ parameters can only be passed.
Can anyone please give a solution on how to do this?

Dynamic range: NEED SOME HELP (any help i can g

here's the reason i am here:so lately i've decided to dump the idea of playing movies on my xbox360 and started using my hometheater PC to play it. since it has a X-fi extreme Music on it. and i do like it better because the xbox360's decoder down samples everything to 640kb Dolby Digital 5.. i want to experience the full quality (if not as high as i can get) of Dolby Digital Plus, and DOlby True HD (both lossless soundstream), and the only way to do that these days are through HDMI or analogue output, since SPDIF nor Optical toslink can provide enough bandwidth required by both DD+ and TrueHD soundstream. so now you know the reason i am here. i do understand Xfi currently does not offically support DD+ nor TrueHD, but at least through the analogue output i believe i can get a better fidelity than my 360. here's my problem:like i said, the sound quality is MUCH better through the Xfi than the Xbox360's internal decoder. but i do havve one problem. because the dynamic range is so high, i find myself regulary adjusting the volume several times through the whole movie. so i started playing with the "Smart Volume" setting, since it alters the dynamic range by compressing it. the result is a HEAVILY compressed dynamic range which is not very ideal. because i can hear the level shifts when there's a high volume element followed by a low bolume element, i can hear a very unatural alteration. is there anyway to adjust the level of the dynamic range? because smart Volume only allows for "on" or "off", i wish there's a level slider. another side problem i just found out with my card is that, apparently, my card is a Dell's Xfi Extrmem Music card, that means i am missing the DOlby Digital EX audio console control, and the DTS ES audio console control panel. i understand that both supposely would allow me to adjust the dynamic range levels. i only found this out when i tried to look up the dynamic range option in Xfi on google and there're?A LOT of angry people who are missing those two features in their Extreme Music card. apparently it has to do with Dell's cost cutting strategy in which all their Xfi cards audio decoder are license from Sonic instead of creative, so hardware wise, there's no differnce. but at a software decoding level, there're som features missing. and the people who bought these cards from Dell are real pissed off because they speficied on their page that's it's an Xfi Extreme Music card just like the retail, what they shoud've done is putting the "Dell's" logo next to it stating it's a Dell's Xfi Extreme Music card, meaning some features might not be the same. anywho, i realize it's a lot to read, but i searched the forum and googled the net, can't find any solution. would it be possible for the next driver update to include a slider option for adjusting different levels of Smart Volume?thank you.Message Edited by howzz854 on 04-08-200704:50 AM

Screen Resolution is "Out of Scan Range" -- Need Help Re-Setting

My daughter accidentally set her screen resolution on her Mac Mini too high for the Sony monitor we have attached. The screen went blank and then flashed "Out of Scan Range", at which time she then confirmed the higher setting by hitting "return". So now we're stuck - a totally blank screen.
I tried booting in Safe Mode and found that the screen was once again properly set to 1024 x 768, so I thought we had this solved. But when re-starting in regular mode, the screen went blank again ... its as if safe mode is not "saving" the reverted screen size for regular boot mode. My last test was to try to boot from the CD installer, but the only option is to re-install the OS from scratch, something I'd really like NOT to do.
Any other ideas on how to restore the screen settings?

HT1766 Has anyone found a protocol that allows the 4S to operate beyond one year and to preserve battery life on this phone?

Please advise me as to any method to restore a 1 year old 4S, keep apps from crashing or disappearing. and to reserve battery life? Information on WiFi malfunction would also be greatly appreciated. Sprint is unfortunately my carrier and I suspect a lot of resources are overtaxed to maintain connection. In terms of self-resolve I have done everything, including restore to original- to accomplish this I had to re- install Win 7 on a low use machine, as it could not be done with 8.1 Pro- attempt made with Apple advanced tech who also was unsuccessful at even getting the phone to restore with 8.1. I was going, with lots of time and assistance from the tech, to send in for a replacement, until I made one last try with older workstation and without using backup- didn't want to inherit old problems. The phone worked fine for a month or so and then reverted to the problems above. Wi-Fi is not greed out, but won't connect to some sites and 3G is usually faster and more reliable - on the phone, not computers. My data measured usage of data has spiked, I guess that is related to struggling for a Sprint connection. Battery life is rapidly degrading, was okay after restore.
Upgrade thinking was to improve antenna technology. I have owned, personally and as a company, over 50 iPhones. I have loved them, but can't seem to get a straight answer from Apple on this one; which makes me consider options. Has anyone resolved similar problems with the 4G? I should add that with the release of FInal Cut Pro X, both Final Cut Express & Final Cut Studio have been removed from the Apple store & authorized resellers. Wireless Projector Needed To Operate As Second Display

Looking for a wireless projector that will be detected as a second display. I am using an Epson that has wireless features but is not detected as a display. It only gives me the option to send images to the projector using it's built in capability.
Any other brand of projector, add on or way to make the Mac see the wireless projector like a connected second monitor?

Thanks, but my questions is a bit more technical than that. Wireless projectors generally allow you to send images, but it appears that they are not generally detected as displays in the System Prefence Pane for monitors.
Looking for a reply with someone who has specific experience with my request.
I am all about Google and have Googled to no avail.

SC 3.2: is Cacao needed to operate the cluster?

Subject says pretty all - I am running SC 3.2u2 on a S10 u7 x86 system and just can't stand that CACAO java process.
Can I disable Cacao? What is it used for in the cluster?
