Hi so i created a skype with a hotmail (im on windows eight ) but sometimes when i go to log in to the skype community website it saysops! Your Skype Name isn’t an email address.Try again or choose another way to sign in.I then have to click microsoft account and sign in to skype.Remember its not the app but the website

Skype name registered to my email address

There is a second Skype name registered to my email address that I didn't create. How can this happen? Can it be deleted? Has my account been compromised?

Hi,
Can someone please help me? I'm trying to login using my usual login name but it says "Your skype name and password were not recignized". I used it few of days ago and it was fine until last Sunday (04-Dec). I've already contacted support team 2 days ago but they don't seem to care too much!
Can someone explain me what is going on?

I would like to separate the list into three columns - the first containing the name, the second containing the email address and the third containing the 'yes' or 'no'.

The question that needs to be answered is what is separating the columns? Is it a single tab, one or more tabs, spaces, or what? Or is it the brackets that makes the separation between the three pieces of data?
If it is always a single tab, that makes it really easy. All you have to do is find/replace the brackets with nothing (as Wayne said)
If it might be multiple tabs, you can find/replace tab-tab with a single tab and repeat that a few times until no more double-tabs are found.
If it is one or multiple spaces, that might be difficult. I'll think about this one if this is what you have. I'll ignore this possiblility for now.
If it is the brackets separating the three pieces of data, you would Find/Replace the left bracket with a tab then do the same with the right bracket.

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

I have ambiguous Skype names two IDs One Email Ad...

One is a paid account. The other is not or so I believe.

It now appears that only one Skype ID per email address is allowed.

I want to use the same name for my icloud email address as my .mac name

My name for all of my yahoo, gmail, .mac email accounts are al the same. I'd like to use the same name for my icloud account. It tells me that the name is not available but I'm pretty sure no one else would have chosen it. Is the fact that I've used it for my .mac email address somehow blocking it's availability? There is some confusion in my mind about your post. Let me describe what I think you mean, let us know if I misunderstood...
I'm assuming you already have an Apple ID that you used to define an iCloud account (or an older dot mac account), and the iCloud account has "[email protected]" as its email address. But the Apple ID for this account is not the same as the email address I just listed, perhaps your apple ID is something like "xyz@???.com" and what you want is to use the ID, "mySpecialName@???.com". [the "???" could be mac, icloud, or something else]
If I've got it right so far, then when creating a **new** Apple ID, you must now use @icloud.com. If you are trying to define "[email protected]", then that is the problem - "mySpecialName" is already associated with @icloud.com, because your current @mac.com also has [email protected] as an alias, so that name is no longer available.
Also, you cannot change the current ID from "xyz" to "mySpecialName" on an existing account. So either way, you can't get the ID that you desire.
Let us know if this is not what you mean.

Hi TerryH, welcome to the forums.
May I ask what email client program you are using (e.g. Outlook, Windows Mail or Thunderbird) - or is it via webmail via a browser ?
If the latter, you can alter the "From" name by logging into webmail and choosing Options/Mail (or More) Options/Accounts - pick the account called BT Yahoo!, and change the Your 'From' name item and click "Save Changes"

This is kinda annoying :L I've recently bought a fifth gen iPod to replace my broken fourth and soon as I've gone to buy something it's asked me to provide security questions and since its been over 2 years I've forgotten both my questions/answers but also the email address used for back up is there someone I can contact or even a way round it ?
