Opacity change during transition

I am experiencing a difference in opacity when I transition between still images, but not between video clips and still images. For example: I am going from a color matte to a wipe into a still image with a title over it. As soon as the wipe transition appears, the image brightens slightly, then brightens slightly again as the transition ends and the second still image appears. The same thing happens when I reach the title where I have inserted a cross dissolve on both ends. The image becomes brighter after the transition is done -- it is not a smooth transition as it should be...the changes in opacity are quite apparent.

furthermore,
you can manually simulate wipes, by overlapping the 2 pics like in my other example. and instead of 'dissolving' using opacity---
you can create a wipe by going under your motion tab in the viewer of selected clip, sliding the left/right 'Crop' slider to 100. put a key frame there then where you want slide to end, slide it back to 0 and keyframe that,
Remember to effect pic in track 2, (or whichever is pic is higher than the one transitioning from).

How can I prevent pixelization during opacity change?

I am creating a small WMV ( 197x148 ) which includes a static image and a video clip. I am encountering 2 problems:
Video has a pixelated edge
Video opacity change is pixelated, and not smooth
Any help appreciated - what surprised me is that during the fast preview they look fine, but when they render they get janky. Is there a dithering option I need to disable or somesuch?!

Thanks - I tried to include my timeline large enough to read in the second image.
I adjusted the layer blending property under LAYER -> BLENDING MODE -> NORMAL and this resolved my issue!

Fix to allow Animate to automatically handle changes in styles during transitions. This same logic already works for properties (e.g., if you specify different values for x in states and run Animate with a SimpleMotionPath with property="x" then it will automatically determine the from/to values to animate for x). But we needed to add an override for getRelevantStyles() for Animate to advertise the possible styles to pick up changes for so that the transitions array would be populated accordingly.

FCP won't display opacity changes (fades or keyframed opacity changes)

So I've been fighting with FCP for a couple days now. 11 hours of rendering last night and it's no good. Wherever there's a fade or a keyframed opacity change, it simply displays black, or sometimes, the track under the affected track.
I have deleted the render files, and that didn't help. I then completely removed and re-installed FCP and no luck. Any suggestions?

Sound problems during transitions?

Ok, i'm attempting to add a transition between a clip of some Talent Show MCs talking(I'm trying to cut out while they are saying something) right to a person singing, in then middle of a song. The sound is giving me issues, as the MCs keep talking while the singer starts singing, how do i make the sound during the transitions stop?

I had the same problem - I couldn't figure out how to turn off the sound during transitions, and it was annoying because I had cut my clips exactly where I wanted the sound to end, but the transition does a fade-out with the clip before the transition, and a fade-in with the next clip, so it was adding additional audio that I did not want!
Here's my work-around:
(1) Take the clip before the transition, and cut it exactly where you want the sound to end.
(2) Right click and select "Detach Audio."
(3) Extend the length of the video clip (at the end) a little for better video during the transition.
(4) Take the clip after the transition, and cut it exactly where you want the sound to start.
(5) Right click and select "Detach Audio."
(6) Extend the length of the video clip (at the beginning) a little bit for better video during the transition.
Now there will be no sound during the transition, the audio will be perfect, and the transition will look smooth.
If someone knows an easier way to turn off the sound during a transition, please post it here. If not, I hope these instructions help!

Change of transitions

Hi again all!
I would like to change of transition type. There is just one type of transition for appearence of a component, is it possible to do like on Microsoft PowerPoint (for example) with a chekckerboard transition, for example.

You can add various effects to your timeline to create different transitions. For example, use a Fade effect (stretched out over time -- use the Smooth Transition button to do this automatically) to have the component fade out. Or use a Resize to have it shrink down to a pinprick. Or you can use Rotate 3D to spin it until you're viewing it edge-on (so it's just a vertical line), followed by a quick Fade out to make it fully invisible.
There's not an easy way to create a checkerboard effect, but here's one way to fake it: If you have a solid-colored background you could put a bunch of rectangles on top of the item that appear at the start of the timeline (do a quick Fade in, or Set Property visible->true), then resize until they fully cover the item.

Hi Experts,
As per the number ranges limit values defined in the system for the planned orders, there is a need to increase the number ranges.
System is not allowing us to change the limit values of the Planned orders in MD91 and showing the Message no. NR651.
We have also searched for the available threads in SCN and other sites, but didn't find the root cuase link for this error.
System message:
Lower limit can only be changed during initial entry
Message no. NR651
Diagnosis
You have tried to change the lower limit of an interval which has a non-initial number status.
System Response
The change was not executed.
Please guide us how can we increase the number ranges for planned orders.

Hi,
You can create a new number range or change in transaction OMi2 or in MD91.
Assign the 02 by clicking number range in OMi2
or in transaction OPPQ click on number range & select the 02.
Do the changes as described and analyse the results. Ensure that while testing no body is creating the planned orders.

Vendor Reconcilation account change during the document posting

Hello Experts,
I have one doubt about the Vendor Reconcilation account change during the document posting.
Is there any way/possibility to change the vendor reconcillation account during the document posting, for a particular vendor.
If is there any chance please let me know the way how to change it and also letme know the impact of this.

The System always takes the reconciliation account stored into the Vendor master data.
Technically it is possible to change reconciliation account in vendor master record as follows:
1) SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> AR and AP -> Vendor accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Records -> Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors) -> Change Vendor (Accounting) -> Company Code Data ->
Account management -> field 'Reconciliation account' set to 'optional entry'
2) Then system will allow you to change reconciliation account in vendor master record.
In general you can only change recon account when balance is zero.
"By changing the reconciliation account in the open item master record the proportionate values from the items open at the time of change are not posted to the new reconciliation account.
Hope this claifies.

Excise Value change during Part 1 and 2

Dear SAP Gurus,
1.)Requirement is that material store person should not interfere in the excise transaction not even in part-1, but the doubt is as per my knowledge part -1 can only be done before the GR or during the GR (along with GR). and client want part -1 and 2 can only be done by FI person so how to meet the requirment.
2.) and if no alternative is there on above the Part-1 is happening during the GR , then material store person should not change any thing in Excise duties. and if the requirement is to change the excise duties , it can be changes during the Part -2 .
Please suggest how to meet the requirment.

Matain the proper box checked and unchecked in EXCISE GROUP SETTING in such a way that
it will Disable the following otions at MIGO
post excise invoice option
only captre invoice option
it will enable the following option
only part1
this will allow stores person to post only part one entries.There will not be any interference by stores person in excise duties.
then after GR fi person can capture excise invoice through J1IEX by refering the material document.

We are having make to stock scenario ,components are issued as per bom to production order ,but while confirmation of production order the issue quantities are changed manually ,due to this miss match in inventory quantities occur.

You can use transaction SHD0 to create transaction variantvariant for CO11N and hide Deletion button and make coponent quantity as out put only.

Group ID Changed During Mac OS X 10.5 Upgrade

I have just discovered that my Group ID was changed during the upgrade from Mac OS X 10.4.10 to Mac OS X 10.5.
Prior to upgrading, my User ID was mcc and my Group ID was admin. After upgrading, my User ID remains mcc but my Group ID has been changed to mcc.
Ownership of files in my home directory hierarchy were changed to mcc:mcc. Ownership of files in other directories were not changed and retain the old mcc:admin ownership.
Under "classic" Unix ownerhip rules, I still own the files. However, there seems to be change in ownership policy under Mac OS X 10.5. I cannot make any changes to the files because they are in the "admin" group.
This change has a significant impact on the value of Time Machine as it prevents it from being used to restore system files that have been corrupted. Why is Time Machine backing up all files when there is no mechanism for restoring files other than those in the user's home directory hierarchy?

Given the above, I would expect to be able to modify, change, or delete any file with ownership set to mcc:admin without using sudo.

Yes, perhaps for backwards compatibility if you did an upgrade...
I don't recall it as existing in earlier releases of Mac OS X.
Because I think the opposite is true. Tiger, at least, always created a group for each user, with the same name and with gid=uid. It is Leopard that uses the staff group instead of a unique group per user.

I am doing a simple clone from hot backup(copy files,create control file ,recovery etc..)
After control file creation, when i fire recovery and supply an archive log , i am getting below error ,please note RMAN is nowhere in picture in may case. I referred some notes but none of these seem to be relevant, any clues:
