you could try using the DDE package to open the file
and then print from the actual file location using a host command.

We can't know anything without some system info and other details liek what versions of Reader/ Acrobat you are actualyl referring to. Your post is pretty confusing...

I downloaded the Acrobat 11 trial and I can open the product. During the install it deleted the existing print driver and did not install a new print driver so I CAN Not create and print pdf files.

What OS? Have you tried a repair and updates from the HELP menu? The updates may be the key.

Open and print multiple files from the Finder all at once.

I'm trying to research how to do this. In OS9 you used to be able to hi-lite multiple files (Word files for example) and just hit Command+P. This would automatically open all of the files AND print them.
I can't seem to do this in my OS X. Or can I? I can hi-lite and go to File/Print, but the computer is only opening but not printing.
Any suggestions??

I don't know how to both "open and print" multiple files in one step. The ⌘O combination of course will open multiple items. The items remain selected so switching back to the "Finder" and dragging multiple icons onto the icon for "/Applications" > "Utilities" > "Printer Setup Utility.app" seems to cause them all to be printed to the default printer.
Alternatively, a user's "~/Library/Printers" folder contains printer icons -- I'm not sure what they are exactly, but they represent the printers set up for that account. They function pretty much like the pre-OS X "Desktop Printer" icons so dragging and dropping multiple files onto them should cause them to be printed. It may even be possible to create aliases to them on the "Desktop" to recreate "Desktop Printer" functionality. But again, this won't open the files into their applications.

PDF Pack is a conversion tool which would convert PDF to different formats and vice versa. It cannot be used for reading PDFs.
If you want to open and read PDF file you can use Adobe Reader.

Can you tell me where the pdf can be found. Through a webserver or inside the database or is the pdf somewhere else?
If the pdf is available through an url you could use web.show_document which can open the url/pdf document in a new browser window.
If the pdf is inside the database you could download the pdf to the client using webutil and then open the pdf document using a host command.
If the pdf is inside the database or by a url you can also use a forms bean. I've used forms bean bean to unload a pdf from the database and show it inside the forms application. Most important when using a forms bean is that the bean component can show all the fonts which are used inside the pdf. There are some free solutions which can not show i.e. bar codes. The are also some paid components which will do the trick.

I have downloaded the PDFviewer.zip file and followed all instructions.
I user Oracle forms 10g.
The forms runs in explorer but pdf file not shown, nor I see the navigation bar.
Tried my level best but no success.
Please guide me what mistake I am doing.

I think that it is difficult to understand how to helpp you without more details of what you did (ie which files you changed and how), and what debugging you have then performed to check which parts of the solution are working.

When a pdf file is accessed through an online link nothing appears although I can open and read pdf files otherwise.

I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 7, but still get a blank page when I click on a pdf file link. I have no trouble reading PDF files stored on my PC. I use Foxit Reader.

Problem viewing and printing PDF files in Preview

I have a document that was created in Adobe InDesign (CS4) with a photo that was converted to Grayscale from a CMYK image in Photoshop (CS4).
That document was then Exported from InDesign as a high print quality PDF.
Now when I open the file in Preview the photo appears on the screen as a "Negative" or "Reversed" image. And if I print the document, it too prints as a "Negative/Reversed" image.
I don't know if this matters but if I send this document in Apple Mail it too previews as a "Negative/Reversed" image.
Other that this photo everything else in the document (text and color logos) displays and prints fine.
Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem with PDFs containing bitmaps created by Illustrator CS3 (and CS4) -- the bitmap appears as negative.
It has to do with the compression method used for the bitmaps in the Adobe PDF creation. If it is JPEG or JPEG2000 the problem occurs, if it's ZIP or no compression, the image is fine.
If have reported this to Apple as a bug already.
10.6.2 has NOT fixed this behaviour.
